  • Printer appears online in devices and printers, but in offline mode in the print dialog box

After I plugged an inkjet printer from Canon iP4000 in my computer running Windows 7 SP 1 Ultimate 64 - bit edition, the printer is displayed correctly in devices and printers as a printer online but appears offline in print dialog common used by applications.

Sometimes, I am able to print despite the problem, but as a general rule, the monitoring software will say that the printer does not Canon.

In addition, a WiFi adapter sometimes loses the WiFi connection and is unable to find all the networks.

    Tried many things:

    • Uninstall of the printer
    • Manually clearing print jobs
    • Reset
    • Unplug the printer from a USB hub and connect directly to a USB port on the monitor

I can not easily plug the printer to the computer directly because of the locations of the case of the printer and the computer. I tried to connect the printer directly to my ThinkPad and the printer does work very well in this situation.

This who can I try to do at this point?

    > modifications

N ° the problem occurs even after a new installation of Windows.

    > wired / wireless

    Wired

    > Error message

I already tried all 4 of the links.

The printer is dead and the 'solution' is to Canon printer in an electronic recycler so buy a Brother laser printer that takes in charge of wireless network.

  • Can not install the HP drivers for laserjet 1022 printer on my new computer with Windows 7.

I have a laserjet 1022.  I can't install the HP drivers supplied on the site of HP on my new computer.  When he asks me to connect the printer, the printer is recognized, but the message still say waiting for the connection.  I tried the advice on the forum by HP and others, including the loading of drivers from other countries.  Other attempts at downloading drivers ends with a message saying that the download could not be completed.  I tried other USB cables and it does not work.  I love HP product but I really need help on this one.  Help!

    Kind regards

    Day Trader

    Hello DayTrader,

When you connect the printer and the message goes on to say "Waiting for Connection", please try the step below...

    • Go to Device Manager, (do so, right click on the computer icon, select Manage from the left pance m click on Device Manager, which will display the Device Manager on the right pane).
    • There should be entries yellow bang (yellow! brand) with the name of the printer on it.
    • Right-click on each one and select put to update driver.
    • Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
Click the Browse button to point to the CD (if you use the CD to start the installation) otherwise copy the path where the drivers were extracted if you downloaded it. It will usually be in the folder with the name of departure 7z... under the TEMP folder.
      Then click on Next button.

    Kind regards

  • Brother HL-1430 printed recognized as a device in Windows 8!

    .

I had a problem installing my printer Brother HL-1430 of monochrome laser on a new PC running Windows 8.

The printer installed OK and works.

However, under Control Panel/hardware and Sound/devices and printers, it is listed as a device, not a printer.

The annoying problem as another printer on another computer (Windows 7) on the home network has been nominated as the default printer and I need to check the right printer each time I print. Also when you print an envelope under mailing address I not give me the option to change printer.

Device Manager indicates that the driver is up-to-date!

    Any help would be appreciated

    Eric

    Hi Eric,.

The problem may occur if the printer settings are not able to recognize the computer.

Method 1: run the corner hardware store and see if it helps.
a: press the logo Windows + O to open the search box.
    b: Type Troubleshooting, press ENTER.
c: now click material and its.
d: now click on hardware and devices , then click on Next.

Method 2: Download and install the printer drivers and see if it works.

  • Printer appears in devices not specified

I connected a zebra printer to my Windows 7 machine via a USB port. The printer appears in the devices not specified.
I went there web site and got the latest drivers and install them. The printer appears in the printers section and works very well. However, the printer still appears also in devices not identified and there is no option to remove it. When the printer is turned off to it disappears to reappear when turned on again.
I saw another problem with several items of the same type, but no resolution has been published.

I have the same thing with a HP printer that has no Windows 7 drivers.  I can easily print using compatible device drivers.  I think that if you really need follow this look down in the \windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log file and locate the section where the Plug and Play install fails.  Then find a zebra driver that contains the same data HardwareID and install this driver.  If the Zebra does not a driver that contains the HardwareID the device sends to the operating system, this device is in the correct state.  You can still use the printer, because the spooler service does not require a HardwareID of the device while PnP requires the HardwareID match.

  • Windows Update 8.1 - now my LaserJet P1005 printer will not work (AGAIN!)

I have a HP laserjet P1005 printer, whose yeaterday was work happliy in window 8. I downloaded 8.1 last night and the printer no longer works!

With the window of printer status open (through the control panal windows) the details of the document are displayed briefly when you click on the button print. Nothing happens at the end of the printer. Theres nothing wrong with the printer as I can use it on a laptop without problem.

Driver Hp downloads link it "seem" a driver for the 8.1 but I think it's only version 8.0 wrongly labeled.

I am sick to death with HP. It took them more than 1 year to untangle a driver for Windows 8, and it blocks as soon as Microsoft tweek their BONES.

Does anyone have any ideas how this can be solved? HP seem to be abandoned as a fundamental value customer - I have not buy one of their products again.

Hi again - finally got it works!

I downloaded the software from the link... again. Still no joy

Remove the printer from the computer devices. Then downloaded the link... again. The computer had the printer appears as a device.

    Then...

    I started again from scratch:

Reinstalled the 'original' driver from the boot disk. (the driver from the link above must have still been present).

    Printer on stream.

    Very happy.

Cannot learn if you ask (or find a place where someone comes up just to talk about the subject you want to learn more.)

All the support for all hardware and software is based on the suppliers of hardware and software - not the manufacturer of the operating system (unless the two manufacturers are be the same.)  In this case, your boredom centers around an HP printer.  HP is the provider in question.

Go a little further, you know the exact products at stake here.  You have 8 32-bit Windows and 32 - bit Windows XP.  The HP LaserJet 1010 printer is connected to the Windows XP computer.  You have shared out (I guess you did it on the Windows XP-based computer, you can click here to make sure you did this right part), but apparently failed to connect on the computer of Windows 8.

I think your problem is that of obsolescence in what the printer in question was did not supported by HP on all Windows since Windows XP operating systems.  Even if you are trying to connect, it is unlikely that you will get it works well (if at all) since the latest HP driver turn off because it was for Windows XP.

HP will not develop a Windows 10 driver for this printer. The best option is to buy a new printer or get a laptop computer with the operating system prior to Windows 7 because this error occurred on Windows 7 computers due to inadequate software support driver for the printer. Perhaps a simple shooting turn also works as described in the link.

  • HP Laserjet 1010 does not print

After you have reinstalled Windows Vista 32-bit and printer HP Laserjet 1010 and update the printer driver does not work.  There is nothing wrong with the printer (everything is checked with the program Microsoft Fix It).  When I click on and open the printer it shows that there is an error.

Have you installed the printer according to the instructions from HP, who usually does to install the HP software * before * the printer connection, and you used the latest version of the software / drivers from the HP site, or did you just plug?

And if you have installed the HP drivers / software there is a HP utility test, theres also the option to print a test page through printer Btns

I'm very annoyed that HP did not have a printer driver available for the HP Laserjet 1010, which is a model just two years. I have scoured the internet for solutions, downloaded a few suggestions but none of them worked. I just want to use my printer and I want to use it NOW! Please can someone help me?

If not, give it a try and see if it works. This blog, you should download the universal driver HP PCL 5 then select the port of DOT4_001. I don't know if it works, but it couldn't hurt to try and if it does not, make sure you uninstall the driver. Also before I forget before you try this make sure all drivers you put forward have been uninstalled.

    I hope this works

Honestly if the cleaning page does not work, it is time to start thinking in a replacement fuser.
