  I understand you are trying to download the drivers for your Laserjet 1020 printer on a single computer, burn the drivers to a DVD player and install it on another computer. It should work without any problems.

  To answer your question, YES, it is compatible with Win10 - but you must use the HP software and drivers, not the one that is provided by Microsoft.

  You must download and install full feature software and drivers for the printer.

  Remove all the drivers and software that Microsoft install for the printer.

  Then unplug the printer and install the software.

  Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.

  Once the installation is complete, restart.

  You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

  I have a HP LaserJet 1020, installed on a desktop computer (with Windows 7 32-bit) connected via USB. Print from this computer works well. The printer is shared on the network. Anyone who uses a laptop computer (with Windows 7 64-bit) sees the printer and installed as a network printer. But each try to print anything end the same way. The printed document is in queue - appears in the list on the office computer printouts, but the printer does not print anything. This includes documents, test pages, everything.   I am trying to be proactive in determining if I need to plan to replace my printer Laserjet 1020.  I know I've seen some resellers/refurbishers typescripts which show the number of pages that a printer has printed during his lifetime.  I just trying to figure out how to get this information from my printer so that I can see how he left life.  Can someone tell me how to generate this report?

  Yesterday, I tried printour with another trainer, and the printer works normally, the impression is great.

  On my faulty formatter Board, I pressed the main processor/chip to the Commission of trainer, and now my defective Panel is still alive. Printing is normal.

  I came to the main conclusion of that chip is not well soldered, I mean over time, the weld joint is lost efficiency.

  Today I have to resolder the chip with hot air station.

  Printer has about 146000 printed pages. I read somewhere that the life of the ITB is 150000 pages. What happens after 150000 pages. Will be the said printer ITB to change or there will be a warning or something else?

• LaserJet M402dn: Printing problems

  We have this printer on a network of simple workgroup, connected via a network cable and turn it on prints all of the PCs in initial swich of the printer ok.  After a time unaffected when you try to print again sometimes it fails and the only way to print is a switch power off the printer, then all is well for a while, then does it again.

  The first step would be to check the firmware it and if it is not capitalized more than then update.

  The firmware is downloadable from the support page for the machine on hp.com if there is a new version.

  If it still does not wake up so it maybe a trainer problem that would require repair or replacement of the machine.

  Alternatively, you can contact HP technical support directly through the support page for the machine, and if your machine is under warranty, they can solve the problem.

  Hi all would appreciate any help on this problem of pinting. This MFP M127fn uses the HP CF283A cartridge.  Electrical level shows approximately 10% consumption. The problem may be best described by looking at a picture attached, which shows a Word document with two white vertical columns in the Middle - the lines that make up the table should continue in these columns.   I just upgraded all my computers at home with Windows 7 Professional and just set up the network for shared printing.  On my main computer where the network is hosted (to connect to the printer, router, etc.), all the drivers installed and seems very good and computers on my network have all the necessary drivers installed. Currently, my HP laserjet 1020 printer is visible on all systems and print jobs are visible too even when I tried to print it, just document is located in the area waiting for the print window and do not print.
  I tried the printer troubleshooting tool, but it could not pick up any problem anyway.

  My two machines running windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

  Someone has an idea, what happens? I used to be able to print fine on the network when I was with windows xp professional (32-bit)...

  You mentioned that you have installed the latest drivers from HP, you have also gone through Windows Update to ensure that you have the latest updates installed as well?
