There was an error internal and internet explorer is unable to print this document.

Hi shieber,.

I'm sorry to hear that you felt that you had to buy another printer. I was an engineer to test printer for 10 years and more, and since there is no known problem with the driver for the 1022nw. I decided to test this question to make sure there is really no problem with IE 9 print using the following driver lj1020_1022-HB-pnp-win64 - in .exe [1/1, 4.62 M] of support.hp.com. I am currently printing from IE 9 as I type this message.

  • Printer HP LaserJet 1022nw, no drivers for my mac?

    Hello

I have a HP LaserJet 1022nw printer, and I can't install it on my mac? It says that I have no drivers for it? and that my mac runs 10.7 fully updated.

    Please be more specific.

    Please, try the following steps:

First temporary plug to the printer with a USB port, click the Apple, then software update. I think that the drivers will be updated successfully by following these steps. Then, enter print & scan and add the printer...

If these steps fail, downlaod and install the update drop-down list next:

    http://support.Apple.com/downloads/DL907/en_US/HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.dmg

Then you should be able to add the printer with no problems.

  • LaserJet 1022nw: repetitive printing; Update Firmware Laserjet 1022nw

Using wifi with Cisco router network printer. Printer prints ok document, but then keeps repeating same document constantly. Tried to reboot the router, removing and reinstalling printer, drivers updated.   try to update the firmware. get the message that cannot run, as RFU option is set to Off and locked.  No idea what it is or how to change it.  Or if the firmware update will even help with this problem.

    Hi @kptax ,

I see that you are having problems with the continuous printing printer. I will definitely do my best to help you.

I have provided a document to disable bidirectional support, which should solve this problem.

Product always prints the same Print Job after it is installed on a network.

If you're still having problems, download and run the printing and scanning doctor. It will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically. Find and fix common printer problems using the tools of diagnosis HP for Windows?

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

How is the printer connected? (USB, Ethernet, WiFi)

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • 1022nw freezes Windows 7 Pro x 64 when printing in Word 2010

I use a 1022nw on a Lenovo X 220. The 220 X is in the dock of Lenovo and the printer is connected via USB. The 1022nw worked for years, but recently it randomly freezes the 220 X when a print job is activated shortly after another completed. The only recovery is to kill the system with the power button.

Thanks for letting me know the pilot XPS day solved the problem for the Laserjet P1102w vroberts .

I checked the site and unfortunately there isn't one available for the Laserjet 1022nw model.

  • HP 1022NW no wireless after firmware doesn't update

So, now I really got myself fire-tray in fire...

I had a little problem with my HP 1022nw, check here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/Mac-printing-and-scanning/only-first-page-is-printed-the-rest-empty-PAG...

    and here:

    https://discussions.Apple.com/message/20289881?ac_cid=op123456#20289881

so, in a final attempt to solve the problem, I choose to install new firmware, available here:
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=bi-59293-2&CC=NL&DLC=NL&LC=nl&...

Well, now the printer works fine, using USB or Ethernet connection. But no way it connects wireless somehow. I can not enter the WPA key and name of network and the configpage just keep showing the IP 0.0.0.0

I live with the update of the firmware?

    Hello

A new Firmware update is now available for the HP LaserJet 1022nw printer printer. The link is as below:

Please update the firmware via USB connection only and it should bring the wireless connectivity options.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Address in the wrong place on the envelope of 6 3/4 with LaserJet P1102W

When I print 6 3/4 envelopes in Word since my Windows 7 64-bit system to a new LaserJet P1102w address is correctly centered from top to bottom, but it is so far to the left half of the address is cut off from the envelope. The same settings printed correctly with my old HP LaserJet 1022nw printer.  Can HPW I fix?

Bear with me a moment... My printer is a different model than yours, but here's what I discovered. Firstly a bit of background. My old HP B209 printer would print envelopes card without problem, but when I started using my printer HP Photosmart 6520, it would just spit in the envelope without printing the addresses, even if I chose an envelope of greeting card in the printer properties. HP could not solve my problem and other sources on the HP Forum said that HP just made a blunder in designing is not the printer to print envelopes of greeting cards.

Finally after a year or two, a member of the HP Forum suggested I have try select the C5 envelope in printer properties and that is, the envelope printed however; the address printed back ok but send it to the address has been out of the envelope with only a partial address display. For some unknown reason, I selected 'options' on the printout of the envelope (a feature I've ever used) and learned that I could work out where the return address and send it to the address were located on the page. When you click the 'Options' button you can adjust the situation where each address appears on the page. You change the 'top' and 'left' numbers you can watch address icons (which appear as straight lines) are moving on the envelope. Pass each address around there where you want it and then try to print the envelope. If each address is too right or too far left or should be raised or lowered just play with the settings until the addresses where you want. Write your settings on a piece of paper and stick it on the side of your computer tower or someother convenient place so you can store these settings in the future.

Now... don't forget to change the envelope size to the default envelope size you are using in general. I always use a #10 envelope business for my personal correspondence. Otherwise, the next time you go to print a standard envelope (what size is that you are using) the parameters will always be in place for the envelope of 6 3/4 that you use and addresses does not print correctly. You will not need to change the settings of your default envelope size because it will always go to the value by default (unless you change it) hope this solution works for you.

  • LaserJet 1022n pilot Wireless does not work for Windows 8

I am just checking that the 64-bit of Windows 8 for the 1022n driver will work for wireless printing. I have been unable to operate and I noticed that the pilot says that it is for basic printing. Does that mean he does not support wireless, and if yes then when they will fix it. Anyone know?

I'm sorry you have a problem with wireless printing. I'll be happy to help you with this problem.

The BASE DRIVER means that you will not be able to SCAN and other features with the software. You can print only.

It seems that this printer doesn't have the feature wireless without (external optional accessories). The Laserjet 1022NW printer, had the wireless feature, but you will need to connect to this printer via USB cable.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Laserjet 1022n, 1022nw printers shared cannot print

    Hello.

We have a number of these printers shared on a Windows Server 2003 server for Windows XP clients.

We use Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 on certain print servers and Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 on the other.

Some of them work, but some refuse to work. You will get the first page to print, and then print queue will be for more claim to be printing, when it is not. Restarting the spooler service will reset things. I can't what is different between those who work and those who are not, well on the same network, it seems that no 1022 will work at all. I've tried three different Windows 2003 servers, and they all fail.

Printer drivers that I use are the last leave the HP website, and I have firmware updated printers also.

    I use a Standard HP TCP/IP port.

I found that they seem to print correctly if shared on a Windows 2000 Server, but it doesn't really help me.

Can anyone suggest anything please? We have been obliged to the coil of a number of them out of Windows 2000, but this should be temporary.

    Thank you very much

    Paul.

    Hi Rick.

I spent some time on this investigation via google but also experiment with the drivers, and it seems that if you be wrapped this printer from a Windows 2003 server and that you have the latest MS patches, then you can print only if you have administrative privileges on the server. It does not matter at the end of the workstation. However, it seems that some of our printers are not affected, and I can't believe that users who continue to print well have administrative privileges on the server.

Anyway, there is a simple solution to this - use the Laserjet III of the original distribution of XP driver. This driver appears to print very well to the 1022.

However, it would be nice if HP has acknowledged the problem somewhere and eventually created new drivers. I see no evidence of this on the internet.

Hope that this workaround works for you.

  • HP Color Laserjet: HP Color LaserJet - lines/stripes

    Hello

I have a HP color LaserJet and I get a lot of lines and streaks on my printed pages.

I also note toner inside the printer and my printer seems to take cleaning cycles more than before.

    Thank you!

Although I work for HP, my posts are MY opinion and not those of HP.

I would recommend some of the things

First of all, make sure that your firmware is up-to-date, go to the page software and drivers on HP.com download and install the latest firmware available for the printer.

Then, make sure that the toner collection unit is not complete

Finally, print a cleaning of the control panel of the printer page, normally, you should select the following text in the menu:

    • Maintenance of the unit
    • Calibration / cleaning
    • Cleaning page
