Printer HP LaserJet 1022nw, no drivers for my mac?

Hello

I have a HP LaserJet 1022nw printer, and I can't install it on my mac? It says that I have no drivers for it? and that my mac runs 10.7 fully updated.

Please be more specific.

Please, try the following steps:

First temporary plug to the printer with a USB port, click the Apple, then software update. I think that the drivers will be updated successfully by following these steps. Then, enter print & scan and add the printer...

If these steps fail, downlaod and install the update drop-down list next:

http://support.Apple.com/downloads/DL907/en_US/HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.dmg

Then you should be able to add the printer with no problems.

Kind regards

Shlomi

  • LaserJet 4000n NEED drivers for Mac OS 10.4 Tiger

    If anyone has the drivers for printers LaserJet 4000n work for Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger), I would be extremely grateful if you could send them to me.

    Mac G4 with Tiger was perfectly printing until the pilots were accidentally deleted in the Print/Fax system preferences window.

    The G4 is connected to the printer via an Ethernet cable. The G4 is also online via WIFI. I spent countless days trying to downloads of drivers and none of them worked.

    The company no longer offers a hotline this older but excellent printer. Please send me a message if you can help.

    Thank you!!!

    When you say that the printer is connected directly to the G4 with an ethernet cable do you mean that the printer is connected to the Mac (G4) with a network cable?  Or do you mean a USB cable?  If you are connected with a network cable, it must be a crossover cable (since you are not going through a switch or router).  A regular ehternet cable will not work.  If you are connected via USB, you should be able to find the printer.

    Normally I would use the "default browser" and do not use AppleTalk, but because your computer can't see the printer and you have an IP address you can try typing the IP address of the printer in the 'JetDirect Socket' option - if you are not connected via USB.

    I hope this helps!

  • LaserJet pro 400 drivers for Windows 2000

    I have a m451dn color laserjet pro 400 I have purchassed.

    One of the systems in my network is a windows 2000 system that is loaded and set up with many programming tools and so on.

    I don't want to break this fine computer running system.

    I don't want to have to reload everything in a new system.

    Simply because it is old, it seems that HP has decided to does not provide not printer drivers for it.

    I connected to the printer on the network, the IP address and tried some older printer drivers.

    The printer works fine if I don't have a color.

    It would be nice to be able to print in color.

    Is there a color driver that is compatible with this printer and Windows 2000?

    Now that I have fought through, I have a way to make it work

    Select another driver from HP - HP Color Laser Jet 4500 worked for me color

    go to the printing preferences - paper quality - check the color

    go to priferences print, cocument - advanced - options - select color

    go to color management - you may need to add a color here profile

    I don't know how this is required, but it works now

    I had to fix on the printer through the actual IP address

  • HP Laserjet 5 M drivers for print server

    I work for a small private college and we have several old printers HP LaserJet 4, 5 and 5 m on campus.  There are all printers in the network that are managed by a central print server.  We started to deploy Windows 7-32 bit and 64 bit.  We have not been able to find a driver to install on the print server.  I know that if the printer was connected directly, it installs automatically, but we need a driver .inf.

    Anyone could get around this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

  • HP Laserjet M1132 MFP: drivers for MFP HP Laserjet M 1332 in Mac OS 10.9?

    Hello!

    I just changed my old Imac (OS 10.5) to a new one with an operating system of 10.9, and now I have problems to install my HP Laserjet M1132 MFP. I can't find the drivers and do not know what I do. I read in another post, there is a way to install it without drivers, but the link in this post was broken. Everyone knows?

    Thank you very much!

    Arturo

    Hi @ArtMN,

    By your post, I see that you need the driver for Maverick. I would like to help you today.

    I have provided a document to see how to install the printer through the Apple updates.

    Installation of a Mac printer driver by using the Apple software update.

    When you add the printer, you will need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer in the list to add it in.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a great day!
    Thank you.

  • Impossible to install Brother printer (even with the latest drivers for windows 7). I suspect it's other print network drivers. During installation, the Brother software reports "the operation cannot be completed (error 0 x 00000706).» The print processor

    I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7
    When I try to add the printer manually, I can't select all ports.

    Plug the printer causes Windows to try to install a driver, but it fails.

    I suspect it was due to my University Pharos printing system. (It worked when I updated from Vista). After that I installed Win7 and started having all these problems, I was unable to uninstall due to errors of RPC ports. So I deleted manually and deleted all the registry entries.

    Installation of a Brother printer still does not work.

    Is anyway to reset all the settings of the printer? Wipe the slate clean? To restore all network ports?
    Thank you!

    ===
    Edit: I read other entries... My Printer Spooler kept crashing before and I had to restart via services.msc
    Also ran sfc/scannow without error
    Edit: I have since deleted all other printers listed in the management of printing, restarted, but still there is no listed ports.

    OK, I found the solution. It turned out that all my print processors and ports have been replaced by the Pharos system (used by my University to charge for printing) DLLS. After the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7, it did not work.

    They have become like this:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Print Processors\winprint]
    «Pilot '=' "PSS08B07."» DLL.
    "PSDriverLink"="winprint.dll".
    «C:\\Windows\\system32\\spool\\PRTPROCS\\W32X86\\PSS08B07 "=" PSDriverPath "."» DLL.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\USB Monitor]
    «Pilot '=' "C:\\Windows\\system32\\PSS08B05."» DLL.
    "PSDriverLink"="usbmon.dll".
    «C:\\Windows\\system32\\PSS08B05 "=" PSDriverPath "."» DLL.

    etc...

    ============

    Manually, I changed ALL the print processors, drivers and ports in CurrentControlSet, CurrentControlSet1, CurrentControlSet2 to their original values and deleted the Pharos irritating ones.
    i.e.
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Print Processors\winprint]
    "Driver"="winprint.dll".

    etc...

    restarted and it worked!
    Too bad, the troubleshooting of Microsoft tool could not detect it.

    See you soon!

    As an alternative to the HP support site, you should be able to get the correct drivers from Windows Update. Using the devices and Printers' Add Printer, I was able to successfully add the HP 5 p to a system of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

    1. Click Start or press on the then select devices and printers from the list on the right. When thedevices and printers windows opens and fills, click Add a printer among control options at the top.
    2. To open the Add Printer window, first select Add a local printer. Then select a port and click Next.
    3. In the next window, first click on the Windows Update button and wait a few minutes until the list is filled again. It will look like nothing is happening, but it's work. Once the lists are updated, select HP for the manufacturer and the HP LaserJet 5 p Printers.
    4. When you click Next must install the printer driver and you'll end up with the final test print screen.

    FWIW, I created the test to aid installation FILE: (print to file) as the port. Once the driver is installed in the system, plug any 5 p with a USB connection should install instantly using existing drivers.

    After switching to macOS Sierra, my printer (hp LaserJet 1022nw) WiFi does not print work orders, even if the printer seems to be to receive the order of work and how to complete it in the work queue.  Connect the printer to my MacBook Pro via USB, I am able to print without problem.  Other computers on the network continue to be able to print wireless.  When I connect via USB and try to scan a updated driver, download cause analysis a software fault message.  Any ideas on how I could proceed to continue to connect and use my printer wireless with the new OS?  The 1022nw is detectable as a printer available (wi - fi) and can normally be added to the list of printers, but doesn't have the print queue even thought that they seem to have been dealt with, and then disappear from the queue.

  • HP laserJet MFP M277dw Pro: cannot download the drivers for MFP M277dw for Mac OSX 10.7.5

    I bought the printer M277 today. Im trying to download the drivers for my Mac. I downloaded the HP Easystart program. It goes to the point where its driver (v4.0.0.32, 148 mb) download. Then, he begins the dwnload but he cancels with the error "Please check your network connection. My connection broadband seems fine. I tried several times (> 6) and it downloads between 30 MB and 60 MB before it fails. The HP serverver time me? I can upload 500 MB fine tv programs.

    I also tried the suggestion in the forums to reset the printer system, check and fix permissions of the drive, install the updates, restart uninstall old drivers printer that does nor work at all.

    I solved the problem. I ran the program of easy start to the point that it comes to download then drove 10 miles to a friend who has wide optical fiber broadband (IE as soon as you get to the United Kingdom). It took 3 tries to download but finally it worked. (this proves that it must be a server problem) I drove home, connected the printer and complete the installation. So about 4 hours in total to make an easy task.

    I hope that your servers run better now and nobody else will get the question.

I watched Brother MP devices; they are traditionally better as supporting older Mac products. However, their entry-level models now require an Intel Mac and OS 10.6 or higher.
