HP laserJet M712DN 700: HP laserJet M712dn 700 noise rumble

I have a M712dn that makes a rumbling noise.  The Fuser drive gear also seem to be eating to the top and leaves residues inside the printer.  I replaced the fuser train running gear and the fusion station, but still have the same question.  Any ideas on what could cause this problem?

Thank you

The problem with this is sprocket sets typically ship without fat, and HP does not document what is good fat to be used on the gears.

@blul_1528 can you let us know what is good fat?

  • M601: Manufacturing of Laserjet M601 clicking noise when printing

I have a laserjet M601, which has just started to make a rattling noise when it prints.  Looks like it is close to the top right corner before somewhere under the screen.  It snaps when a page is caught to start printing.  I hear a 3-5 clicks when the paper is caught, then it stops for the rest of the page.  If multiple pages print, click before the beginning of each page to be printed.  All other prints are normal.  The print job ends very well and all is well.  I only hear it clicking now and it seems to be deteriorating.  Thoughts?  Thank you.

    Hello

I have some further thoughts on this. Are you sure that the manual tray loading produces noise? They use different pickup assemblies. If we have confirmed both tray 2 and Tray 1 (manual feed tray) produce the same noise that we have to look at what they have in common. Toner, transfer roller, editing of the main landing gear, & fuser.

What type of toner cartridge do you use? If possible can you exchange with others and print a test page? If the problem persists, what is the number of pages on the printer? Have you recently replaced a maintanece kit?

  • HP laserjet 2430 gear noise

I have HP laserjet 2430 who made so much noise in the back and I checked the gears seems perfect and even changed some of those who watched prevails. the noise is made a few seconds(2-3) after turning on the printer.

    Any help?

    I got it!

The fuser unit has a speed right next to the equipment of fiber that animates the pressure roller and its not not perfect fitting its axis to axis. Initializing the printer, it tends to lateral movement and oscilates causing noise. I have come to discover that and am very well now. I mounted a plastic sleeve to keep it in position and its now just like new.

    Hey Stafic,

I would like to go ahead and launch HP Hardware Diagnostic Utility to see if it is able to determine if there are hardware problems. You can download the tool here: HP Hardware Diagnostic Utility

Run the tool and post back with updates.

    Thank you

  • LaserJet CP6015dn made noise every 30 seconds

When the printer is turned ON, not printing, it made a loud noise similar to a hard drive every 30 seconds.  The noise lasts about 1 second, but he keeps doing and it starts to annoy him those sitting near him.  He started to do it directly out of the box.

    Everyone knows this?  -Thank you

I turned in a support ticket, and they said that it was part of its normal operation.  About every 30 seconds it turns slightly battery to prevent them from developing the flats.

  • HP LaserJet 700 color MFP M775: question of impression

HP LaserJet 700 color MFP M775 does not print color, only print in grayscale. I printed a page of demo/PQ troubleshooting page and the power state of the printer page, none of these colorful print prints.

Also have changed all three colour... (Magenta, cyan and yellow) including the transfer kit and image of the hand, still the same... the laser but is mounting kit.

    Any help?

    It's a very strange problem.

My first regular test for really strange questions would be updated the firmware of the printer.

There is restrict the color settings in the built-in Web server, but I don't think that had an effect on the PQ test pages.

  • MFP LaserJet 700 M775dn

We just bought a new M775dn and trying to learn all it's features.

That's me stumping is how to get the scanner auto steer a page when it is scanned.  It will only scan in landscape mode and therefore the page is in PDF on the side.  Is there a way so that it can scan in portrait mode is readable without turning in the pdf viewer?

The research I see the M575 has 'auto' Guide as a feature, but I could not find this phenomenon listed on the 775.  You would think that a larger more capable unit would have all the "bells and whistles".

    Thanks in advance

    Guy

    Hello GuyboR,

M775 reason does not have this feature is that you can feed the ADF (automatic document feeder) and place on the flat bed scanner page on portrait and landscape, the 575 has this option 'auto focus' because you can feed only paper on the portrait.

You have not specified on your post, but I guess you are using either save to USB, email or send to folder and your output is PDF, my recommendation is the following:

There are a few ways you can get your PDF documents in the direction of portrait:

Trying to feed your document in reverse (if you place your documents in portrait mode, now place in landscape orientation)

This printer will automatically detect if the document is in portrait or landscape

When sending your document, before you press on send or save go to 'more options' and check out a few options: "Orientation of the content" and select "portrait".

and check 'Original size', and select 'auto-detect '.

This way, you make sure your job will be direction portrait on PDF files

I hope this information help you,

    Best regards!

  • M775 MFP LaserJet 700: error Fuser LaserJet 700

My fuser unit started failing last week.  I recycled power several times, but error persists. I purhased and installed a new fuser kit. However, I always get the same fuser error. My guess is that the power supply of the fuser unit is toast. Anyone know what diet controls the fuser unit? This printer has several power supplies. Thank you

You need to call HP support because your printer probably has a date born on them one could use to validate the warranty and you could get free service.

  • HP LaserJet 700 color M775 MFP: HP LaserJet 700 color MFP ME

Does anyone know if faxes can be received digitally or stored on the machine, and printed manually, rather than be received and print automatically? When a fax is received, say all night when the office is unattended, and a hard copy is sitting there waiting for the collection, if the document contains sensitive information or confidential, it compromises the confidentiality and security of the parties concerned.

Have the machine to store these for sure print or have received another way course would be beneficial.

No worries! I found out how the do it myself looking through the admin functions. You can adjust the faxes to be stored instead of print

  • LaserJet Enterprise 700 M712: Black Prinout

All black print, just print even printer only info. Toner changed cartridge and the transfer roller printing remains black.

On most hp printers, it is generally an indication of problems of high voltage or a bad grounding connection.  Remove the toner cartridge and check all points of contact in the cavity of toner and get into contact with the metal posts on the toner cartridge to make sure that none are damaged or twisted.

  • HP LaserJet 4100: Problem with the universal print driver

    Desktop: HP Envy 700-214

    OS: 10 64-bit Windows

Printer: HP LaserJet 4100 (with a USB to parallel cable)

I was able to properly use my LaserJet for Windows 8.1 through my Windows 10 crossing (which I upgraded to about 18 months ago).  Quite recently, I welcomed Windows Installer a upgrade, and at this time there, I lost my ability to print.   It has been on my default printer, but gave an error message when I tried to print.

I tried to "Add a printer" and selected the HP 4100 connected to the LPT1 port.  It would not print a test page, and the printer does not like in the reception of data.

I then tried to install the (PCL6 and Postscript) universal print driver with similar lack of results.

I tried uninstallinDeg and reinstall the drivers, but once again no joy.  Incidentally, although I'm going to Device Manager > printing queues and remove the drivers, when I set up an application like Word and select the Menu printing, many copies of drivers rest yet.  When I go to remove them using the printui/s/T2, it is said that they are currently in use and cannot be deleted.

Yet once again, I repeat - it is not a hardware problem because everything worked well before Windows upgrade.  I just need to find a way to reinstall a driver who will speak to my printer.  It of frustrating because I was able to do that before, but may not know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello GaryLynn,

You saw did a lot of things to try to solve this issue.

However the USB to parallel isn't anHP officially supported connection type.

in any case, what suggests I´d, is that you try this:

    • Unplug the hybrid cable that you use
    • Uninstall all copies of the printer and its duplicates.
    • Stop the print spooler by using the services on windows (type on cortana services.msc) locate print spooler and stop it
    • Go to run and coil type, look at the Printers folder and delete all the files that are there (if any)
    • Restart the spooler to print services.
    • Download and install this driver package
      http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=FP-148007-1
    • Turn on your printer and connect the cable.

After this exercise, check to see if windows 10 has managed to find the best driver to use your printer.
If widows did not automatically find it, try the manual on add a Printer Wizard.

If not reading as LPT1, check ports either USB00 ' # ' or a port DOT4, those who should be the ports to use.

I hope this helps you get your printer going again.

    Thank you

  • LaserJet MFP M127fw Pro: Original output cartridge

ONLY 1 100 PAGES PRINTED FROM THE ORIGINAL CARTRIDGE
Bought in early April 2016 - this seems to be VERY BAD PERFORMANCE for this type of printer. It is used for the purposes of the home based business - for most of the documents; some pages with photos. Is - this common place to ship new products with ONLY the STARTUP CARTRIDGES that will NOT stand the number of pages suggested.
When talking with the representative of HP on the phone at the time of the purchase, I asked specifically to this subject. He told me that NO, it isn't the case that the cartridge is only a start unit and that I would wait full and superior performance when buying original HP products.
This was NOT my experience to date. -Just say...

    Hello

    Its specifications:

Cartridge included start-up; ~ 700 pages based on ISO 19752 and continuous printing. Average of declared performance replacement cartridge ~ 1500 pages based on ISO 19752 and continuous maint. actual yields vary considerably according to the images printed and other factors. For more information, visit: hp.com/go/learnaboutsupplies

    Source: http://store.HP.com/us/en/PDP/HP-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-m127fw

We (users) expect can only get about 80-85% of these numbers or 1 200 pages to 1 275 pages if CONTINUOUS PRINTING (without interruption, not inactive) because every time the printer begins it will consume a lot of inks/toners.

From my calculations, I sometimes see 1,100 pages with a mixture of images is acceptable.

    Kind regards.

  • Iconia 700 p and problems of technical preview Windows 10

I had success installing the Windows 10 Technical Preview (64-bit) on my 700 p Iconia. mixed early iterations little worked well enough, but around to build 9943, things turned out terribly wrong, and the machine would not boot. After a while (and some shopping of devices), I managed to restore Windows 8.1 from an Acronis restore image.

I downloaded the latest 'stable' build (10030, I think) until I enrolled in order to reserve a copy of Windows 10. It installed very well leave a DVD, but things have really down when we got to the parameters of the installation part.

After restarting a couple of times during the process, the touch screen does not work at all (nor do the bluetooth keyboard). A USB mouse enabled me to click on the screen, but the Tablet stop whenever I clicked on continue.

Has anyone got the installation of the Technical Preview of WIndows on a 700 p Iconia 10? I searched the forum, but could not find anything with the combination of 700/WIndows 10 Iconia.

    Thank you!

Stable version of last month (10162) installed fine on the W700P. Almost everything works (there is a glitch in a program that runs NET Framework 3.5 and I can't get an update from HP laserjet driver to install), so hopefully I'll install the Windows final 10. Good luck to you!
