HP Laserjet P1102: Two rows of black dots on every print

I recently removed the seals and tested a few impressions, but each of them contains two rows of black dots on the left side (a line more fat and other points more small rank). I did the cleaning print but no use. Here are some pictures of the question. I can print any document, but the points are the problem. I run on the genuine laser HP cartridge by default. Also, the points are spaced the same way.  Any help would be appreciated...

No! The load inside the cartridge is bad

  • LaserJet P1102: Installed drivers, showing that this page is printing but the printer usually take measures

    Hello

my printer of seams run very well on old runing computer dell laptop win 7. Now I switched to OSX Yosemite, MacBook Air and I have problems with printing. I have instaled nessesery pilots, even been updated for them, but I can't find a way to print something.

When I turn on my printer, conect to the laptop via the usb port, press to print the page, I can see that the document is on the queue and also the State of ptinting. Driver is actually showing me the wrong results, as printer prints pages and how much left, but the printer will take no action.

I don't know what can be the problem, because my printer works. It may be a driver, but I think it's an official for this printer so I'm stuck.

    Hey @iznogud92,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

I see that you are unable to print from the Mac using your HP LaserJet Pro P1102 printer.  I want to help you with this.  I have some suggestions that might help.

    Try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall the printer - click here for instructions.
    2. Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
    3. Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
    4. Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

You are able to print from Mac now?  If not,

You can add the printer manually and use a generic driver built-in.  Here's how:

    • Click on the black Apple
    • Click on System Preferences
    • Click Print & Fax, print & Scan or Printers & Scanners

    • Click the Plus (+)
    • If the Mac detects the connection of your printer (either via usb or wireless) click on 'Use' as shown below
    • Select the generic driver printer PCL

Note that this installation method is not guaranteed, but it could serve as a basic solution.  Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to give me a virtual h.o.t. by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

  • Consistent black dots on printed

    Hi guys,.

I use the HP Laserjet Pro 200 m251nw.

The problem is that I get those black dots on the print in consistent locations on the image. I tried everything I could think of to ease the problem. I changed the type of paper to take into account that I use (brilliant (120g) and printed out several pages of cleaning on transparencies without result. I thought maybe it was a problem of compression on the wireless, so I downloaded the images on a USB and tried to print it that way, but still no luck.

    It makes me crazy!

I scanned the sheet so that those of you who know a thing or two can see the problem firsthand... This is one of the better ones. For some reason any it prints very well on the last two rows now.

Help! Please, I beg you! I'm losing my mind!

    So, I thought about it.

The images were 600ppp JPEG because I thought that's what this printer was estimated to be. The consistency of the points made me think it was a compression problem... After abandoning their up to 420 dpi points have disappeared and it is printing very well.

Come on me, I'm awesome. So, any 600 dpi for this thing. Wigs it.

  • Finally two updates slightly incompatible with Windows 8.1, appearance of flicker black dots on the screen?

I would say that this last two updates. latest Firefox version 32.0 have a compatibility issue with Windows 8.1.
My laptop newly bought worked fine with Firefox until recently. About two to three days before, during the navigation. blackheads should blink on the screen. At first, I figured well problem of pixel, but after testing the same sites with IE 11, these black glitter points seemed not at all. I tested it with chrome and no points.
These black spots have not appeared before on Firefox, only recently. Unfortunately, I'm very uncomfortable with the use of Firefox that I had been using this browser since 2005, but this compatibility issue makes it difficult, cause flickering points can be annoying.

What you describe was reported before and it is almost always bound by graphics drivers. Firefox will (by default) use hardware acceleration to help speed up the rendering etc. On some graphics cards/driver combinations (most with Intel video) people reported black dots. Disabling the hardware acceleration option usually clears this up.

    Does look like this: https://bug913419.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=831738

    Some other threads for reference:
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/974717
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/856277

It is not limited to Win8.1 - were reported on both Linux and workaround there is to change the method of hardware acceleration... until the Intel video driver has been updated.

  • Failure of Black Dots and device - Tecra 8100

Hey all, I was just given this Tecra 8100 and 2 of the many problems with it are that random black dots appear on the screen... and sometimes windows crashes due to a failure of the device (the monitor I guess). He got a new installation of XP Pro from about 20 minutes ago.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Hello

I have really no idea why this happen. One of my friends has installed Windows XP Home edition on his old Tecra 8100 and everything was ok except the modem and infrared. The only thing I can recommend is to install SP1 and check if the problem persists.

If this is not the case, try installing W2000 or W98SE to see if the same problem occurs with this two supported operating systems.

    Good bye

  • P1102: HP LaserJet P1102 windows 8.1 and USB3

    Hello

I recently bought a HP LaserJet P1102 printer and I can not install it correctly in point 8.1 of Windows.

I have two laptops. Again there is not all USB 2.0 ports and they are all USB3.0. In this new laptop, when I connect the USB cable, Windows says that it can not recognize USB device. I installed the driver many times but I don't know how to solve this problem. I think that this printer has a few problems with USB3.0.

In my old laptop, I have Linux and Windows 8.1. Under linux, the printer is working correctly, but in Windows, I can't does'nt. Whent I installed the printer for the first time in this window that I could print but after reboot, Windows does not recognize the installed printer and try to detect it as a new. I have so few "LaserJet P1102 (COPY)" in the printer and devices in Control Panel. It seems that whenever I want to print, I have to install the driver.

    Help, please.

    Thank you.

Well, the next thing to do would be to get a USB 3.0 for printers and see if you have the same problem when using this cable.

  • LaserJet P1102: HP Laserjet P1102 on Windows 10

Just got a new system of Windows 10 and it won't recognize my priter Laserjet P1102.

May I ask if the Laserjet P1102 will work with Windows 10?

    Hey @BarryH2000,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have some problems with printing from your PC to 10 Windows for the Laserjet p1102w printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done, download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

Please let me know the results after installing the drivers. If you are able to print, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • HP LaserJet P1102 CE651A does not recognize the new toner cartridge

I installed a new hp for my Laserjet P1102 toner cartridge, but still get the message "install the black print cartridge"and the orange light blinks.  It worked fine until the toner ran out.  Have tried to reinstall the cartridge and you are using a compatible cartridge, without success.  Can I do, or do I have to repair the printer that appears to be a case to send far from a reconditioned unit?  I am disappointed that he didn't after intermittent use of less than 18 months. It was purchased as the reviews said it would be great for printing of volume, but I have not at this stage yet.

    Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Remove all paper from the tray. Make sure that no paper is started in the printer. I then replaced the toner cartridge and it was recognized. It seems that if the paper is launched to feed into the printer, then the new toner is not recognized.

  • How can I move App Tabs down, where are the other bookmark toolbars? Or, how can I put my toolbars on two rows bookmarks and forget the App Tabs?

I have several bookmarks in my toolbar, and my most often used found in a drop down menu, which is annoying. I have tried to click and drag on the menu bar, there was room for more icons, but they didn't budge. Anything under the "toolbar" has been helpful. Help tell me do right click on my toolbar and then click on 'Customize'... which did not come as an option. I would like to really all my favorites toolbar (I have about 10) or real on the toolbar visible, not hidden in a small dropdown tab menu.
There is a plug-in that allows you to put bookmarks in two rows on your toolbars, but it is not compatible with my version of FF (7.0.1).
App Tabs are cute, but I don't like them on top where they take place where I have the legs for various open websites (I usually opened several at once). App Tabs are fixed and do not move as site tabs, which is extremely annoying and so why I 1) want to move to the bottom of the toolbar or 2) be able to view all my bookmarks toolbars - which is what I prefer.
    BTW, I have Windows 7.
Thanks in advance for your help.

App tabs are special tablets and are always displayed at the left end of the tab bar.

You can place all the bookmarks that you want to see the toolbar of bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar folder.

You can do this in the sidebar or the Manager of bookmarks if you can't do it on the bookmarks toolbar.

Most visited is a special file (smart) which shows the websites that you have visited and are not necessarily Favorites, so you can not drag on the personal bar unless you first to bookmark the. You can make it open in a tab by clicking on Star on location bar twice and choose the toolbar of bookmarks as destination folder.

  • HP Laserjet P1102 by USB "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer.

My HP Laserjet P1102 used to work properly with OS X10.10. Then he started to say (now I'm on osx 10.11.4) "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer" whenever I have the lit, but the printer still work. What should I do?

I tried with this solution HP Laserjet P1102w by USB "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer ' Ec Capitan osx's option"repair disk permissions ".

I can't say if it will work, and it may even be harmful, possibly to the point of making your mac unbootable, so be careful - all the least have a clone of your system disk. If you start using the internet (Command-Option-R) recovery mode, and if your mac is a model that existed prior to El Capitan, it could be that the disk utility you get in this collection is the old version, including the order of repair permissions.

I bought a Macbook Pro 13 "with Retina display (2015) one week before and today while browsing in Safari, I noticed a small black dot on the screen." The point has been made on this spot on the Web site, it is not set on my screen. Once I have to zoom, or refresh the page several times or even scroll to the bottom of the page, point disappears. I opened a blog more on the same site, and I found another point identical. Once more, it seems not be it resolved in the screen, it is instead made to this position of the screen.

I opened a few several other Web sites and pages with a white background, I did not see the dot appear. I'm uploading a picture so that you can see the guys. Someone had this problem? • LaserJet p1102

I'm considering the purchase of the Laserjet P1102.  It will print from Internet Explorer 9 and Windows 7 Professional?

    Thank you

    Petewill salvation,

Based on driver search, it looks like a driver is available for Windows 7 and P1102.

    Here is a link:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=4110304&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&cc=us

Just select your operating system Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7.

Once the driver is installed, you should be able to print with your installed applications, including IE9.

The following link contains a list of LaserJet not supported for Win7:
