HP laserjet p2035

Bought a hp LaserJet P2035.  Each document I attempt to print, prints... constantly.  It does not stop.  It prints multiple copies until I have cancel printing.  No, I have not made more than 1 copy screen printing.  Hp Expert, please, tell me how to fix this.

@Dreamie1

Thank you for your message on the forums of hp.com. I don't know how you have this connected printer or what OS you print from, but I would like that check you and see if the bidirectional support power off will stop her continue printing.

Right click on devices and printers

Click on printer properties

At the bottom of the general tab, disable bidirectional support.

See if this could solve your printing problem.

Hi, you will need to do the following.

On the Windows 7 computer, click Start, and then click devices and printers.
At the top, click on add a printer link.
Then, select Add a local printer.
Then click on create a new port and choose Local port from the list of options.
Click next and in the name of the Port box, type the path to the shared printer on XP.

  • LaserJet P2035: Problems with a LaserJet P2035

I have two HP LaserJet P2035 and both will send jobs not from the paper tray.  They two fine prints from the manual feed tray 1.  When I close the manual feed tray 1 and try to use the paper in the paper tray, the paper light keeps blinking and will not clear. I have performed the update of the firmware on the two units that made no difference.  I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.  Thank you!!

Thank you freginold.   I found the culprit.  I have slightly bent a metal cross bar support located under the paper tray upward toward the printer.  This bar triggers the lifting of the paper tray mechanism to lift the paper in place and of course, there was no contact. This solves the problem.

  • LaserJet P2035 don't print PC programs

I have already used aa laserjet 1022 but improved to laserjet P2035. I downloaded the drivers 2035 etc from the CD. The printer does not have any internal progrm on my PC print. It allows to print 3 sheets of diagnostics, so I guess that the driver has been installed correctly. I turned on the PC on and off like a yo yo, but nothing of what I have done will encourage the printer to print any of my installed programs - HELP!

  • HP LaserJet P2035: HP LaserJet P2035 not print color

Printer stop suddenly printing in color:

    (1) check cartridges - they are good

    (2) checked the settings - they are good

    (3) as 'Printer properties'--> 'General'--> 'Features', the color is set to 'NO '.  This is not a modifiable setting.

Rose troubleshooting and found goes into "Device Configuration" and change the "Installation Options".  My interface is NOT "Installation Options".

Please notify.  Any help is very appreciated.

Hello, you are sure to have the correct model number? The HP P2035 is a black and white printer, so it does not print in color.

But, if you have a color printer and it is only printing in black and white, then I would say replace the pcl driver 5. I've seen similar with color printers problems while people were using the pcl driver 6.

  • LaserJet P2035: P2035 feels ghostly second image under original on correspondence cards

I try to print multiple cpoies of the same note on several cards of matching size 8.5 x 5.5 inches.  Correspondence cards are a thicker than normal paper.  First card itself, but like the second and more than fingerprints cards are printed, it appears an id low reprint the text below the original text.  The repeated image is sometimes quite heavy to read almost.

Low repeated text starts about 2.5 inches below the original.

I tried to set the paper weight, cleaning the printer, print the page cleaning several times and in frustration, replacement of the cartridge.  Nothing changes.  Test pages are impeccable.

If I wait 5 minutes between the copies and print a copy each time, it will print ok.  It is a pain when the customer wants to 50 copies.

Anyone who think that a process of trying?

Thanks Dave.  The idea of the fuser unit do not receive the card stock pretty hot was the clue.

The heavier paper setting is only available with the top tray (1).   We were still using the #2 plateau because that's the way it has been done before.  The setting of the average weight was heavier for this bin.

Again, I created a custom configuration with the actual size of the map, not only close to the available selections, the heavier paper setting and the top shelf.  It worked to clear up the ghost repeat printing and as a bonus, several copies can be printed instead of one at a time.

After about 3 copies, there is just the ghost atrace.  I'll try a 600 resolution setting then maybe it won't be so much toner to try to merge the heavy card stock.  I wish there was a way to set a delay between each copy to allow fuser back upwards to maximum temperature for the next card.

Once again, thank you for the response and consciousness.

  • envelopes will not feed Laserjet P2035

I used a program called Stamps.com, which has worked well in the past, to print envelopes which sender, address of the recipient and a printed stamp.  But today, when we put an envelope in the manual feed tray, envelope do not get sucked into the printer as it used to do. Instead, we get our information printed on a page of format letter from tray 2.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Please skip this Question - problem solved. It was user error - my wife forgot centering guides in the status bar, manual power leaving spread format letter, then she puts the envelope to the extreme left and roll, being in the Center, could not enter the envelope. By narrowing the two grey tabs so that they fit on the right against the left and right of the envelope, the envelope is centered and then the rubber roller can get a grip on the envelope.

  • HP LaserJet P2035n: HP LaserJet P2035n is supported pcl5?

HP LaserJet P2035n is pcl5 support? You can install HP LaserJet P2035 with pcl5 in windows 7, same hp laserjet 1320? (I'm sorry, I can't speak perfect English)

According to the specifications of the LaserJet P2035n printer, the print language supported are:

    • Printer languages: Host Based, UPD (HP PCL5e)
    • Fonts/fonts: 45 TrueType fonts

    Perhaps implying that:

    • The default printer driver is likely to be a host-based driver.
    • The printer supports PCL5e
    • This support can be limited when compared to other printers PCL5, which usually have fonts 80 or more present in the printer.
  • P2035, rdp and .pdf

I have a LaserJet P2035 that prints symbols nonstop when a .pdf file is sent to her by a rdp session. I tried using EasyPrint, and it does not recognize the printer. I used the new drivers and older drivers on the terminal server server, but nothing seems to solve this problem. I did the updates of the firmware on the printer, tried new cables and still get this problem. If anyone has had this problem and if yes, how do solve you this problem?

P2035 support only the PCL5, then you will not be able to print PDF files directly. You will need to send it via PCL5 driver.

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/PSI/swdHome/?sp4ts.Oid=3662049 provides the drivers.

And http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?oid=3662038#! = form tab mentions that it supports PCL5 only

  • Citrix

After that a lot of time spent with the Citrix support team, they conclude that there's a new driver.  Here is their response:

From your question, I would recommend reaching out to HP to find a compatible driver that will work in Citrix. Based on our documentation this printer was supported last on XA 5 32-bit.

  • Windows 8 HP LJ2030 Driver installation problem

I have a HP Laserjet P2035 printer and a brand new Windows 8 computer.  The printer was purchased several years ago and has been used with a Windows XP box. The log entry indicates the driver already installed but the Windows Device Manager seems not to think (see attached image). By clicking on 'Properties', then on 'Events', I saw the following message (see second image). I have no idea what this error code means. Can anyone provide some ideas of what I can do next? I hate the idea of making a new printer, if there is a software solution. The printer still works fine.  For what it's worth, through the Windows Device Manager, I uninstalled the printer and driver once already in order to get a clean installation of the driver.

    Thanks for any help,

    Zeke
