I bought my laptop with XP, upgrade to Vista. everything works fine, but I'm still short on space, and programs crash. Should I remove XP?

I suggest using disk cleanup.

Click on Start Orb > all programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup

Go through and select all that you can cleanup, also check the tab more options and making sure that you go through the restore points.

Delete temporary internet files and personal files.
The best thing to do is backup everything on an external hard drive for 2 reasons.
1 - To free disk space
2 - To have a backup in case something happens with your computer.
