HP m7680n lights.

Hey all,.

My computer has since a few days, and I would close it every now and then for him give pause.  I stopped and went out to eat.

Coming back, I tried to turn on the computer back, only to discover that it won't turn. By pushing the button on the front does absolutely nothing.  Nothing lights up, does no fans, nothing.

The computer was working fine before, and I even restarted after an update 2 or 3 days. The computer off without any problem, it does not seem to want back on...  I don't think this is the cord (I plugged on my monitor and the monitor), and the green light on the back of the power supply is on when it is plugged (the light is constant, only flashes do not).  I tried to change the CR2032 battery on the motherboard, but that did not work.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I replaced the power supply and now it is running.  Strange, I didn't know that a 2 year old computer would blow up a PSU, especially when I haven't added any material to it.

Thanks for the help!

My will is m7680n not turning on - dead - no clicks, lights, or whatever it is (except the small green led lit on the power supply).

Doing surgery with instructions of the internet will allow you green rider to the ground (from power supply), and carefully tamp 24pin to motherboard will start System (I hit it now).

What is the problem?  Front switch has mainly been ruled out.  Motherboard and the PSU (other?) have been proposed by others.

Is there a way to tell what is the problem?

    Thank you very much.

Near the CMOS battery on almost all motherboards, there is a three-pin header that says CLR CMOS generally.

In the default position (jumper between pins 1-2 battery currently provides to the CMOS chip so it can keep the BIOS settings)

In the reset position (jumper pins 2-3) all the information are deleted, including the date and time. This information is generic to almost all motherboards

When I press the button on the side of the Mac to see the power, only the first green light blinks then turns off. The Mac does not load.  It took to pcworld and connected to one of their Chargers it bright green illuminated (should be orange) and still won't turn.

    I tried SMC

Tried to remove the battery and put back

    Nothing works

You might have against accidental damage to the logic or the Board of Directors of magsafe DC. You must bring it into an Apple store for troubleshooting.

Here's an article on what charger you need for your model. I'll try to test a known good charger with your battery installed and started. What is your state of the battery when disconnected and plugged?

  • I have no sound coming out of my macbook pro and see a red light in the hole of the listener.

I do not have its coming out of my macbook pro os x 10.8.1 but if an earphone is connected I hear the sound and there is a red light through the matter of earphone. What is happening to you can help me?

The red light of the headset jack means the MacBook Pro thinking that an optical audio cable is plugged into the port. Try to have disconnected and reconnected a headphone plug into the port several times. There is a tiny sensor inside the port that determines if the port is operating in analog or optical mode. Something similar by plugging should trigger the sensor and restore the analog signal.

After turning on my wireless keyboard led green lights, then begins to blink, and then turns off. The batteries are fresh.

Possible explanation.  It is likely that batteries, so fresh, can be irregular in size.   The uncertain connection would therefore tend to lead to a failure to blink and you declare.   Read my thing...

  • Our time capsule will blink a light amber and utilities said that it is overheating. What is the problem?

We had a problem with our (less than 2 years) time capsule - the light yellow flashing, the fan runs often and looking in "utility" on my mac, it says that it is overheating. What is the cause of this?

The Time Capsule fan runs constantly, so you shouldn't be aware of the fan running on the time Capsule 'often'.

If you receive a message that the Time Capsule is overheating, there is probably a problem with the internal power supply on the Time Capsule.

If you have an Apple Store near you, it would be wise to take the time Capsule to let the experts check the issue and discuss your options.

  • Drive light external HARD disk Warrior exploded

I use DiskWarrior do a reconstruction of the hard drive to save the files, if possible. Hard drive does not appear on the desktop, which had been seen as a USB device on system information. During the reconstruction, the Seagate external HARD disk light exploded and is no longer visible to the Profiler system as a USB device. Should I cancel the reconstruction? Should I try disk referee to 'stabilize' the disc and run Disk Warrior?

Can you describe the real problem which caused you to run DiskWarrior "to save the files?  Who can provide a clue about your current situation.

If DiskWarrior' forever,' you have to cancel rebuild it later.  How long it has beed running?  It may take time, if repairs are done by DiskWarrior.

DiskWarrior works repairing data directory player (which defines where the files are stored).  There are other types of utilities who hunt the disc for actual data.  For example

  • The new iPhone 7, display lights on the move - is this normal?

I just bought an iPhone 7.  Whenever I pick it up the screen lights up before I hit the home button.  Is this normal?

I guess that when I'm carrying it, it will keep light upward, and then jump.

Yes, it is a new feature in iOS 10 called "Raising to wake", where you can check the notifications on the lockscreen without hitting the power button / stop or the "home" button.  I don't know if I like it or not, but I currently have always it turned on.

To disable this option, go to settings, display and brightness and toggle the revival to Wake OFF.

I played around with it a bit, and it activates especially when moved from horizontal to vertical (for example pick up placed on a desk), but no say, low vertical, high portrait.  So depending on how you wear the phone (pants pocket, Pocket jacket, holster, backpack, etc.), it may or may not turn on unintentionally.

  • MacBook pro screen does not light

Hi, I have a macbook pro 13 inch edition at the beginning of 2015. A few days when I tried to turn on my computer, screen not turn on including the lamp to the rear logo. but I heard the startup sound with the keyboard backlight on. I plugged the computer to an external monitor, then I saw in this computer monitor works fine. I tried to make configurations LANDAU and SMC. screen still does not work. but sometimes laptop screen lights up, then when I restart the computer, the screen will come up again. help me guys what should I do? Thank you

If you're lucky, the connection to the screen is not correctly connected or must be replaced.  If you are unlucky, the display needs to be replaced.  Make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

    Ciao.

  • Since recent iOS updated my 6s lights (lock screen) when moving or touching the screen

Incredibly annoying and battery draining experience that only began just after I updated the iOS

The lock screen lights up constantly, even when I'm not in contact with one of the buttons (I'm still not near the Home button).

I have since disabled touch 3D , but it still happens.

Try a forced reboot. No data is affected by this. To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  • Why Keynote warn the font GillSans light and "BOLD" missing?

For several years now, I got an error of central point which is more one annoyance than other. And recently, I created a presentation that using one of the models of stock of Keynote (with Keynote 6.6.2, although I have experienced this problem with previous versions) and encountered the same error.

My presentation was very simple, so I do not have any changes to the Slide Master. I used the showroom model.

This model uses only the font Helvetica and which does not change during the preparation of my presentation. I've worked on Friday, saved (several times), then it opened Sunday to continue to work on that.

When you open the presentation, I received a box of error dialog warning me that GillSans light and bold GillSans lacked. This scenario often occurs when I use Keynote, and it's the source of my boredom.

What is causing this error appear? If a particular font GillSans, why this error pops up when opening it does not use a Keynote presentation?

I use Suitcase Fusion to manage my fonts and keep GillSans essentially disabled, unless specifically, I want to use this font. Keynote intrinsically search and require the GillSans for any presentation, even if the presentation does not use the police?

    Thank you for your time.

I think that all users have this problem.

We, the users don't know how his cause and Apple don't give advice on errors in the software here.

So the best advice is to choose her "Don't warn again" option in the warning message and do not think it's a fault with your file.
