HP MEDIA CENTER PC M700 (M7630.UK) WINDOWS XP 32-BIT

Hello.

I wonder if anyone can help please. yesterday I went on hp website to see what updates were available and after you enter the product & serial number of my tour, I was introduced to available downloads / updates. in any case the last update, I downloaded was leader: sp35153.exe which is a p5bw-p5bw-the motherboard bios.

in any case, after the download, I was invited to restart the system and from there I was left pulling my hair. problem is my operating system starts not up to now and it goes to the blue screen and then back to the black screen.

I tried many things including trying to boot from the last good known configure, safe mode, safe mode with the command, but I can't get windows booted up at all to try to restore my system.

I can access some parts of the system by using F1, F8, to where I tried to start safe mode and my operating system, but no matter what I try I always keep coming back to the black screen (sorry for the inconvenience, but windows did not start).

In addition, I also tried to restore my system via tapping F10 or F11 on the first screen, but once again, he is going back to black screen. IM afraid I have not all drives to boot from, so I hope someone is able to answer my prayers.

God, I'm really annoyed with hp now for us informing that the updates available for my system which in turn has left me unable to boot my operating system. any help greatly appreciated please

Hi, Daz:

Sorry to read that has not worked.

If you can't get into the BIOS, my fear is that the BIOS update did destroy your PC, sorry to say.

I don't think that you can install Windows on this PC because there is more wrong with it that the OS is not not accessible.

Recently built a new PC with Win 8 64-bit Pro and Media Center add-on bought.  However, whenever I click on the WMC icon, nothing happens. I installed a bunch of software on my machine, and some of it was a bit old stuff that I had to run in compatibility mode + install other updates (from / seller directly) to work to win 8. I have no doubt that if some of the older things may have pushed something - it seems, remind one of them wanting to install a .NET framework or something - but I don't know how to solve problems.

I tried to turn the checkboxes of the WMC feature and restart but that did not help. I tried to start the PC in safe mode to see if that would help solve the problems, but he did not. My ideas on how to solve the problems and if there is anything I can do in addition to trying the Windows 8 update (ugh). Any ideas to help me? The update would be worth trying? I really don't want to spend a whole day trying to track this one down and a lot of software that I'm not sure that the uninstall is the culprit or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • Pavilion Media Center M8400f Bios Update for Windows 7

HP Pavilion Media Center m8400f. The Vista operating system has been replaced by Windows 7 (64 bit) a number of years.

I've updated one of my hard drives with a SanDisk SSD (it is now my main drive with the operating system and all my files on board).

The bios on the PC has never been updated.

The SanDisk SSD dashboard software will not recognize the SanDisk SSD as the system has designated the SSD as a SCSI device. I need to access the bios for this change to AHCI. The current bios does not support this.

The PC has a card mother MCP61PM-HM. There is no update for Windows 7 BIOS for that motherboard I know (updates Vista only).

SanDisk gave me a link to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-82094-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&... that shows a card mother M2P61PM-HM for m8400f desktop PC. This Bios download supports Windows 7 (64 bit).

Can update the Bios to download safely a card mother M2P61PM-HM for card mother MCP61PM-HM I currently have?

    Hello

The HP BIOS update link provided SanDisk is an update of the BIOS of your PC. It is listed under Win Vista 64 bit driver downloads here.

If you look at the site to download the drivers for your PC you'll only see driver support for Win Vista but on 2010-04-08, Version 5.29, 1.47 M BIOS updatedshows support for Win 7.

But the problem is this: the BIOS updates must be performed using the PC operating system comes with; in your case, Win Vista. Extreme care must be exercised when updating the BIOS under normal circumstances. I would not classify your situation as usual.

I saw others download an update of the BIOS for their PC and try to install an operating system upgraded with disastrous effects. The PC was bricked.

Be prepared for the worst case if you try to install the update to the BIOS.

  • Error: "Windows Media Center has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution. "when tried to open it after installing the KB983590 update

Original title: WMC no longer works after update of August 10

Windows Media Center has stopped working after installation of my Windows 7 Professional pc all 11 updates gave me on August 11, 2010. I used system restore to the day before the updates, and install them individually. The first 9 no trouble with WMC. But the IE8 KB982664 for Windows 7 compatibility view list caused my action center to report that I needed to check the undeclared solutions to problems. WMC would still start. But after installing KB983590 .NET framework 3.5.1 for Windows 7 x 86, WMC has stopped working.

After you uninstall update 2 above WMC would still not start.

After using the system again restore forward updates, I installed the other 9 updated with, so far, no problem with WMC.

  • Media Center 2005 crashed I loaded Windows XP sp2. Installing XP cannot load explorer.exe and another dll file... Need help or information on how to request recovery of microsoft disk MC2005... Gateway has not.

Help please... I have a gateway gt4024 designed with Media Center 2005. Recently, the system was not "acting accordingly so I tried to reload the OS." I realized that I didn't have the recovery disc, then I decided to load XP Professional I had on it. The law on the computer is as it has been installed correctly and then I get a message saying explorer.exe could not be loaded properly or the drive perhaps is corupted and the same message to another .dll file. Once completed, I can reboot and use the computer, but then the windows installer will not work and the drivers are still present on the hard drive. Now, I loaded the new operating system before and I know that pilots are not supposed to be always present on the system. I then put a new hardrive has had the same problem. So, I then took the hardrive and placed in another computer that was be a dell and load xp fine without error. Can someone point me in the right direction. I contacted gateway to another Media Center recoverydisk, but they said because the computer was no longer under warranty, that they did not have the specified disc and to contact Microsoft. A link would be useful.

  • Windows media center error starts automatically at windows startup

Original title: windows media center error

my computer is a windows update on its own and I rebooted several times and each time windows media center begins with the little blue label in the middle of the screen. an error appears and says to close the program, when I click on that it does nothing the blue box is still n the middle of my screen and the rest above all. How can I stop start started wen I can't go to the application at all?

    Hello

    1. are you able to boot to the desktop?

    2. what happens once the computer is restarted, it automatically restarts or are you to force the computer to shut down?

If so, then start the computer in safe mode and disable the option run program at startup.

Method 1: Disable the option run program at startup

    a. on the screen start, navigate to tasks, click settings, click general, click Startup and window behavior and then uncheck the Windows Media Center start at Windows startup.

    b. click Save to save your changes.

I also propose to consult the sites listed below:

  • Get Win8.1 Pro with Media Center in Dual Boot with Windows 10 Pro

In December of 2012, I bought a new Dell XPS12 running 64-bit window 8.  Later, I bought "Win8 Media Center Pro Pack" for Windows Media Center.  Later, I upgraded to Windows 10 pro and lost Media Center.  Given that I had a legitimate copy of Windows 8 Pro with Media Center, I would like to re - install in a separate partition.  I was able to clean install Win8.1 in this partition using a flash drive and the MediaCreationTool.  He did not like my product key OEM Win8, and he didn't like my WMC Pro Pack upgrade key, so I installed using a KMS key that is freely available online.

Clearly, I go about it the wrong way.  I'm happy to start again and install Win8, then upgrade with my pro WMC pack key, but I do not know the mystical incantations necessary to get there.  Since I had legitimately a Pro Win8.1 with instance of Media Center, and I my self Win10 product key after upgrade, I can't imagine that such a dual-boot configuration would be illegal.  Can someone please help?

    Thank you

    Loki

    Hello

Eventually your 8.1 installation using KMS will be disabled.

    1. cannot use keys hacked to enable long term of Windows, as you will be taken; It's a matter of time.

    2. the key/license Windows product to describe the operating system, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, etc. is absorbed by upgrading Windows 10 during the installation process and becomes an integral part of the active Windows 10 final installation.

The license qualifying operating system, either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, etc. cannot be used anywhere else, or in a dual boot with Windows 10.

    Kind regards.

  • Solution Center does not correctly install Windows 7 64 bit

I've looked everywhere on the forum about this but still do not have a resolution.

I have a HP Photosmart C7280, I've had two or three years.  When it is connected to an XP machine it worked fine.  I have since bought a new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, and although I tried over and over, install, uninstall and reinstall the software from the HP Solution Center, I can't work.  I really need to have the feature analysis of the Cluster Solution that I need to scan documents up to 100 pages.

Is it possible that this software is not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?  I downloaded the software later on the site of HP and my PC works always the latest updates of Windows 7.

If I can't get this resolved, I'll have to buy a new printer all-in-one and believe me it will not be a HP this time.  Help, please.

Well I'm done chasing my tail.  It is clear that this is never going to work.  I tried to do the installation on another machine in 64-bit Windows 7 (gateway GT5228) which was a clean install and never had a HP product installed on it before and she's not exactly the same way.  I also tried a XP operating system installation and it works beautifully.  So my conclusion is that developers at HP simply no interest to this provision on Windows 7 64 bit, or they are simply too incompetent to make it work properly.  I am a software consultant in real life, and I do installations on servers is not as if I'm inexperienced.  I decided to buy another printer, but after this experience, it will not be a HP.  It is not just that a printer that works very well mechanically must be thrown on the junk-pile because the software cannot be upgraded successfully.  HP is not very favourable to the environment, creation of garbage where it could be avoided.  Sad and disappointed.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 solutions Center does not work after Windows 7 32 bit upgrade

I recently updated my operating system from Windows Vista to Windows 7 (32 bit).  Before the upgrade, my C7280 worked fine using the center of Solution and in my home wireless network.  After the upgrade to Windows 7 and download and install PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe, version 13.1.0, Solution Center does not work.

At the opening of the solution Center, it displays disconnected printer.  Using the Wireless Setup Wizard, the printer connects to the network.  I can open the Solution Center and it works very well for about 3 seconds and then goes to the printer disconnected mode.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the software update for Windows 7 package C7280 repeatedly and with the same results.  I downloaded and installed the patches and still no change.

I finally had to restore my computer to original operating system.  After the computer back to its original configuration, I used the original to HP Photosmart printer disk to reinstall the driver for Windows Vista.  Everything worked as before.  Then I ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.  Yet once, he told me that the HP Photosmart C7280 printer was not compatible with Windows 7.  I uninstalled the printer driver and run Windows 7 upgrade advisor.  This time, I have not received any message about the C7280 printer.

I installed upgrading to Windows 7 (32-bit), and then upgrade the HP Photosmart C7280 for Windows 7 32-bit driver.  Everything works fine now.
