  The question about us (the largest trackball mouse ever invented) of Kensington Expert Mouse die-hard users! It is a 4 button mouse with hot - more configurable buttons and scroll wheels.  A very good product, but Kensington says they will not refresh the Mouseworks software to ensure the compatibility of windows 7.

  On the thread that the above, we all discovered that you can install the drivers using the compatibility mode and run as administrator and it works just great.

  However, I am having a rather serious bug which could be related to a problem with this software/driver and windows 7.

  Every so often, and I can't find a way to repeat this bug, the mouse click will engage at all times.  There seems to be no way to unlock a left click of the mouse click.  Of course, this prevents the active window attached to the top and unusable.  Alt + Tab to new windows still work and all functions of the system remain intact, except the possibility of uncheck and therefore release the last active home window of the application involved.

  The only solution I found is to stop (which takes a few keyboard focus navigation because the lock may make it difficult to navigate through the menus and options to shutdown gracefully).

  To restart everything's fine again.

  I have confirmed 100% that this is not a hardware failure with the mouse (I can disconnect via USB and plug in my laptop Win XP and the mouse works fine) to plug into the Win7 machine mouse is recognized and works but the ClickLock is still in place.

  Anyone experience this problem or similar problems? Is it related to Kensington Mouseworks or is this bug actually goes to other people on different system configurations?

  Also... Yes I checked to make sure that keys sticky and related accessibility options are fully disabled and not the source of the problem (although...) I guess it is possible that this bug is related to accessibility options / features).

  Thoughts, confirmations of same bug, or solutions would be very appreciated.

  Thanks for your reply. Article that you have accessed is the same one I linked in my original post, and most are talking about people not getting it to work at all... when in fact you can get it to work by installing in compatibility mode.

  As in my original post, behavior and functionality is impeccable to 99.9999% of the time, but then this bug sometimes manifests itself.

• Compatibility Mode and the XP Mode in Windows 7

  I got a little confused on the Compatibility Mode with XP Mode in Windows 7. Both allow you to legacy Windows run in Windows 7. As far as I know, the former just request that you go to your legacy application that is already installed in Windows 7, get his property and check the box Compatibility Mode and select your old Windows OS (Windows XP, SP2) - that seems without any requirement of additional beyond your Windows 7 operating system HW/SW; But this last request additional 1 GB of RAM and also installation PC Virture Mode before you can run XP Mode. Are the two modes of the same thing or different? It seems that Compatibility Mode is to each legacy Windows application, so no additional HW/SW and XP Mode is environmental BONES together.   No, they are not the same.

  Compatibility mode allows you to run software simply, as say you, selecting Properties and then compare the compatibility mode and select the appropriate operating system to run this application. As you say 'no additional SW/HW prescription.'

  XP Mode is, of all intent and purpose, a virtual machine mode. You must first install Virtual PC software and then, after you have created a machine virtual, you install your software and it works as if it is running on a separate computer - hence the need for a 1 GB of additional RAM. The 1 GB of RAM is allocated to the virtual machine. If you say 4 GB of RAM then your PC would use / 3GB and your 'virtual' PC would use the other 1 GB.

  Hi all. Well I've been poking around and found no solid information on what my computer can be upgraded to. Because my computer seems to be compatible with the Core 2 Duo. I was wondering if maybe there's even compatible with the Core 2 Quad, being that they have a 755 socket.

  Tried to look to the top of my service tag to see the info from Bios A04 and what the hell he adds compatibility but could not find any usable information. I plead therefore here my question now after repeated failure to search for.

  The XPS G5 does not support the Core 2 Duo.

  Far as I can tell running ESXi 5.1 only is not supported on a Gen1 HP BL460c.

  ESXi 5.0 is supported.  I was wondering why 5.0 can be executed but not 5.1.  Were there significant changes between these versions, which mean that it is not compatible with the hardware?  Or is that a case of he could run ok but if it doesn't then you're on your own.

  It certainly is not supported and not all generations previous G6 (see atatached).

  I can only assume that these servers gen went EOL prior to 5.1 was released, so it made no sense to support these models?

  You misunderstand my role here. I do not work for HP and I'm not the order desk. I am a user final companions. The laptop has a program backup and restore installed where you can make the recovery discs or a USB key to reinstall the software factory on a new hard drive or SSD SSHD.

  You will have to find a SSHD and will make install. HP does not offer that service and I also do not, of course. It can affect your warranty. If you let us know your country of residence, we can find a good deal on the parts you want.

  (1) single purchase guaranteed compatible memory modules memory manufacturers.

  2) install in pairs of identical modules.

  (3) do not mix and match capacities and manufacturers brands unless you like really surprises.

  Hello rodale, what you see is probably a side effect of firefox is not able to save some preferences in the profile folder.

  go in firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on file/show profile folder and close all firefox windows later. a windows Explorer window should open - to delete the file named user.js.

  If I'm looking in the right place, I also see a patch 1.68. You may need to install the patch 1.68 before installing the patch 1.69. All you can really do is try and see if it works. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful at this time.

• ReadyNas Duo and problem of compatibility between Windows Vista?

  Hi all

  I currently have the installer to readynas duo work that is used to store and share files / information to 3 other computers that are connected wirelessly (I think?). The problem is that when you try to access the files on it, they are extremely slow to load, and sometimes come as "not responding" but finally after load up to 3-5 minutes, which of course is not optimal for a work desk. This slow loading time occurs on 2 of the 3 computers, that it works great on windows 7, the other two are vista.
  This could be a compatibility issue with vista or a problem with the duo of nas? IM leaning towards a problem vista as windows system 7 works fine without any problems.

• Problem of compatibility Acrobat and you tube problems___

  I get a pop up box that says that my player acrobat 7 has known compatibility with this version of Windows.  I have vista. I [ve check the box don't show this message, run and cancel at different times.  When I click on cancel, sometimes it blocks my computer at 2 minutes before he goes.

  Your version of Adobe Acrobat 7 is not compatible with Windows Vista. You must upgrade to a newer version of Adobe Acrobat.
  You may be able to get installed it but perhaps not all of the features you can see on the problem you are experiencing.
  If you want to update, it would be better to upgrade to a version that will run on Windows 7 If you upgrade your computer.
