HP mini 210 1091NR memory upgrade, possible?

I have received contradictory information concerning the possibility of upgrade from 1 to 2 GB memory. No one knows for sure if she will definitely work or be a waste of money to try. I would only really be upgraded because I can't really use Skype as the system is seriously more taxed right now and I removed all the things running in the background.

My system is running windows 7 starter edition.

Thanks for your help!

Larry

2 GB upgrade would be fine.

I came into possession of my daughter's laptop, HP Mini 210-1091NR (she died suddenly).  I need to find a power cord for it.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  I tried the HP site and it says that they service more of this model.  In addition, I'm not sure where the switch. (lol)    Can someone help me?  Thank you

    Hello

Your manual - look at page 9 to locate the power switch on the right side: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01988326

  • HP Mini 210-3000sd: HP Mini 210-3000 memory update

I bought a HP Mini 210-3000sd, or LT963EA #ABH used. It came with 1 GB of memory, which is great for Linux with a small desktop computer, but most certainly is preferable. I think to upgrade the memory, but am a bit confused:

    According to the product page.
http://support.HP.com/nl-NL/product/HP-mini-210-3000-PC-series/5082191/model/5116173/document/c02904... 1 GB is the maximum amount of memory.

After Crucial, they have a module for 2 GB of RAM for this laptop, only they call cell 210-3000CTO and their recommended module has a non standard of 1.35v rather voltage of 1, 5V.

The maintenance manual mentions single-channel 2GB DDR3 - 1333 MHz, no mention of any particular tension, but they list a number of spare parts 621565-001, which I couldn't find in the HP store, and he otherwise would be probably much more expensive than elsewhere.

Can someone give me more specific information, that is, the memory is expandable and if so, should it be 1.35v?

I got the memory today. Replace the memory module was quick and easy. Now the Starter Edition of Windows and Linux see 2 GB, and everything starts much more quickly.

  • HP Mini 210-2070NR RAM upgrade

I bought a HP Mini 210-2070NR at Staples and wanted to upgrade the RAM to 2 GB.

Manual says that Windows 7 Starter only supports 1 G of RAM so I've upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium to try to support 2G of RAM.

Went to Crucial site, put in the computer model, classified in 2G of RAM DDR3 10600 S, installed and computer won't start with 2 G of RAM in it.

Deletion of 2G, inserted original 1 G to start the computer to the top.

I've updated the BIOS with the latest version on the HP website.

Someone can help me to find a solution to this, or is this netbook on only a function with 1 G of RAM?

    Thanks in advance

    Gaspasser

You can upgrade to 2 GB of memory, but at the moment, not all DDR3 memory is accepted by the new Intel N455 processor... You will need to order it from HP part Surfer... Here is the link for the same thing... http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=615863-001

There is another forum thread, where the user has been able to find particular memory sold by Crucial module which works with HP Mini 210... Here is the link for the same http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=C3C1FEA3A5CA7304

  • Mini 210 help with upgrade options

    I have a mini 210-1142CL

Someone has updated the motherboard on this model and if so, is it really make a difference in performance.

Upgrade options are also somewhat confusing.

The mini works fine for me and before that pitch for a newer model, wanted to explore options of upgrade of it for at least a dual processor at the fastest speed it can handle.  Right now, it is running.  Have disk space enogh with 128 GB of free space, 1 GB of RAM.   Running a 1.66 GHZ N455 chip.

Not sure if a 1.5 GHZ dual chip will really make a substantial difference, or if it's time for new technologies.

    Thank you

    Stan

Atom processors were a dead-end. However, the N550 1.5 ghz dual was one of the best. A bit like the world above 'little person' but still a honor:

    http://cpuboss.com/CPUs/Intel-Atom-N550-vs-Intel-Atom-N455

Just to put it into perspective, here is a graph of the N550 vs some real processors.

    http://www.cpubenchmark.NET/CPU.php?CPU=Intel+Atom+N550+%40+1.50GHz

I saw the N550 motherboards for $45 on eBay. Performance is perhaps 30% better than the single core 1.66.

Your best upgrade is to install the 2 GB of RAM.

If you feel compelled by the whole thing of netbook, I'd get a new laptop. The technology comes from the netbook to be a reference in the calculation of the story. Good idea at the time. A good current smart phone probably has as much computing power.

  • Computer HP Desktop M1188A upgraded the HARD drive and memory upgrade possible

    Hello

I have a HP Desktop M1188A running XP Media Center 2005.  The computer runs very slowly and was only 27.6 GB of free space left on the hard drive with a total area of 149GB.  It has 512 MB of memory installed a 4 GB maximum.  Speed supported is PC3200 MB/sec.  Type of DDR.  DIMM slots 4.  160 GB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive.  Fact hard drive 160 GB 7200 RPM SATA means it is a SATA connection?

I want to switch the HARD disk like this I hope that the computer runs faster.  I'm a complete novice with respect to the operation of computers.  What to buy to upgrade the HARD drive?

Will it also upgrade the installed memory?  If so, what to do?

    Everything I need to know?

    Thank you.

    See you soon,.

    Michelle,

Try for battery HP to THE Bing search engine, I found several sites in line with the Chargers and batteries. BattDepot Australia seems to have decent prices... At$ 24.49 for the loader and THE $37,49 for battery. If you have not yet checked the HP battery reminder page, I recommend you do this first.

  • Satellite L505D - memory upgrade Possible?

    Hi all.

I have laptop Satellite L505D-S5965. It has 3 GB memory DDR2 SDRAM 333 MHz. Specifications are here:
    http://www.CNET.com/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-L505D-s5965/4507-3121_7-33695859.html

I could install 2 times x 4 GB DDR3 800 MHz in this laptop? My CPU/motherboard support it? Or can I install DDR2 600 Mhz SDRAM?

I saw a couple of laptops same on ebay that had mentioned DDR3.

    I don't know, but the motherboard is probably V000185540. It has a AMD X 2 QL - 65 processors.
CPU info can be found here:
    http://www.CPU-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Athlon%2064%20X2%20QL-65%20-%20AMQL65DAM22GG.html
It is stated that the speed of the bus
333 MHz dual channel DDR2 SDRAM memory controller
One 2000 MHz 16 - bit HyperTransport link
Made it me confused - this is the maximum speed of memory, I can install it?

AMD 780 G with SB700 south bridge chipset is.

Operating system is Windows 7, should be no problem with it.

If someone wants to be able to answer my question, I would appreciate it a lot.

    > Can I install 2 times x 4 GB DDR3 800 MHz in this laptop?

I put t understand why ask you this question?
You have validated the page with specifications and it is said clearly: Max RAM taken in charge: 8 GB
So you can use 2 x 4 GB RAM modules

The speed of the RAM depends on the speed of the front side Bus: care page says: 800 Mhz.
So still fastest of all the RAM would go to 800 Mhz

    > Can't do my CPU/motherboard? Or can I install DDR2 600 Mhz SDRAM?
You cannot mix DDR3 and DDR2. Both are physically different.

Micro pc Sony Vaio VGN-UX180P memory manufactured standard 512Mbytes, quite low for this miraculous micro pc...

I am not sure, but I can pass the memory by adding additional 512Mbytes?

Doesn't look like the Sony VAIO UX has the memory locations. All memory is soldered on the motherboard. You can download disassembly guides here (http://www.micropctalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119&page=5).

  • Mini 210-1091NR wireless network adapter is disabled and will not return to the top.

For a month every time I receive an update of windows, (and often!) My broadcom wireless adapter arrives as disabled when the computer restarts. Normally I can uninstall the driver and do a reinstall and the wireless will start working again. However after upgrade of the past few weeks, the wireless is not working. I am running windows 7 ultimate and I have no idea what else to try right now. I noticed that the adapter will work always as long I have start in safe mode, but it's not really very good for everyday use.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

OK I found my own solution, or the moment. I deleted the HP wireless assistant and now he connects very well. Must be some sort of inadequate with the windows wireless somehow.

  • Upgrade memory - HP mini 210 3000SD

    Hello

I have a HP Mini 210-3000SD laptop. The HP support page says the RAM is expandable up to 1 GB, but I saw that a cell phone even has been upgraded to 2 GB.

Mini Apparanetly hp in the series have the same thing too, hp support page says up to 1 GB, but in fact, it was possible to upgrade to 2 GB.

My guess is that I have to use a special type of DDR3 RAM, anyone have advice?

    Thank you!

If you look at the section of the Ram, you'll see that the laptop will support up to 2 GB of DDR3-1333 MHz ram. There is one slot memory, so the chip you buy must be a 2 gb chip. You can also go to www.crucial.com and download a tool they have there that will scan your system and give you ram and disk hard upgrade results specific to your system.

Thank you, the Manual Guide to different Rams depending on the operating system for most windows. I have a debian (linux) on my mini hp computer... could this be a problem?

  • What are the upgrade options (memory, video, audio, etc) for my HP Mini 210-4022 YOU?

Are there options to upgrade for my netbook HP Mini 210-4022 YOU?

I'm hoping to hear that there is in the following categories and their corresponding limit for upgrades:

    - internal memory (currently 2 GB of DDR3 memory, as far as I know, but am sure it's 2 GB), I want that this more general if possible

    - graphics card (integrated Intel, I know it is soldered on the motherboard but maybe, just maybe? a upgrade?) Some games I can't play and having problems with simple games and apps that should not be a problem in the first place as PlantsvsZombies because the latest drivers cannot Martin play this game and other games as well and I need to uninstall the drivers of the said... Is that how it supposed to work backward rather than forward? But I hope I can improve this...

    - audio (but that's fine, I have beats just want to know)

Thanks in advance and more power for HP... My brother for your business works if all goes well I have not made a mistake in buying HP products... But so far so good, a few small bumps on the road as I call it...

  • Upgrading RAM on HP Mini 210 N2800

    Hello

I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade to 4 GB of RAM with this netbook? Processor-say it is capable if the internet is correct .

If it is possible, what kind of RAM it would take and would see how much improvement in speed?

    Thank you

    Hello:

Who worked very well because the number of product has been on the advertising.

You have the HP Mini 210-4014tu PC

Link to the product sheet page:

OK... to answer your question... Here is the link to the service manual.

Maximum memory is 2 GB. There is only one memory slot. See Chapter 1, page 2.  My understanding is that even if you have W7 Starter, the 2 GB works perfectly. The manual States otherwise.

    Hello

The following article shows you step by step how to upgrade a disk for a Mini 210. This should be the same for the SSD. 6 all my laptops at home now use 120 GB to 480 GB SSD. I have not measured the 'speed' but my wife Seashell doesn't show any improvement except the start and stop time. Here is the link:
