  What other tests do you mean exactly? If it doesn't, I don't know how you could make memory or the disk hard test in the BIOS.

  Otherwise, it's the end of the road for the mini.

  The system board replacement would solve the problem.

  Replacing the motherboard is not something you can do yourself, since the tattoo of the BIOS, with a utility DMI HP propretary is necessary. Is the mini still under warranty?

  Try to zap the PRAM or reset the SMC.

  LED flashes orange?
  If you mean the DC-in LED if it flashes orange if the output voltage of the adapter is abnormal or if power outages.
  If you mean the Power LED so it flashes orange while the computer stops if you select sleep mode.
  If you mean battery LED if it flashes orange when the battery reaches a low battery indicator.

  I think you should check if the AC adapter has no malfunction and provide enough power.

  I think you should also try another solution that I found in this forum.
  So to remove the battery and unplug the AC of the laptop and wait form (10-15 min) then several times the battery and connect the AC to the laptop and try to start the laptop.
  Eventually, it helps.

  I have a laptop Acer Extensa 4420 2009, that does not illuminate.

  Finally bought a new battery.

  When I press the button start is there no response.

  I opened back and reinstall all connections of Ribbon & connectors, hard drive etc.

  Last fall it's intermittent start up, I replaced the cmos battery, that fixed.

  Could use some suggestions where to look next.

  Problem SOLVED:

  I did more reading. Find more on the reset procedure.

  (1) I unpluggged the battery & left overnight.

  (2) in a hurry & has held start button for 1 mniute.

  (3) to replace the battery (new) & start-pressed: the UNIT POWERED UP!

  I am trying to load updates.

• HP Mini 210-2070NR RAM upgrade

  I bought a HP Mini 210-2070NR at Staples and wanted to upgrade the RAM to 2 GB.

  Manual says that Windows 7 Starter only supports 1 G of RAM so I've upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium to try to support 2G of RAM.

  Went to Crucial site, put in the computer model, classified in 2G of RAM DDR3 10600 S, installed and computer won't start with 2 G of RAM in it.

  Deletion of 2G, inserted original 1 G to start the computer to the top.

  I've updated the BIOS with the latest version on the HP website.

  Someone can help me to find a solution to this, or is this netbook on only a function with 1 G of RAM?

  You can upgrade to 2 GB of memory, but at the moment, not all DDR3 memory is accepted by the new Intel N455 processor... You will need to order it from HP part Surfer... Here is the link for the same thing... http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=615863-001

  You can always update your firmware with iTunes. But it seems you might have a larger, likely hardware problem with your phone.

  Try to restore the firmware with iTunes. If this does not help, make an appointment with a genius at the Apple Store.

  I just encountered the same problem. While watching the TV, it shuts down suddenly. Even model & 18 months and now dead. If I leave it plugged in now, we get the same thing - the power switch flashes between green and Red intermittently seconds or - but no picture at all.

  What's wrong?

  Sometimes people sell books with the failure to display or other parts of damage, but the motherboard is ok.
  You can try to use second hand motherboard in your laptop.
