Pavilion mini 300-010 in: no display after starting in safe mode
Recently (2 weeks) bought the Pavilion Mini Office 300-010 and was well before decide me Flex my curiosity.
the office is connected to my monitor VGA Samsung using the HDMI-VGA connector since the release of funds has no VGA or DVI - I usage options.
the part where my curiosity killed the cat, was when I decided to start the winodws 8.1 in safe mode and see what happens.
pressing F8 did not help that the load of the OS had no delay (or maybe it's the UEFI BIOS) and so I decided to put safe mode with "a minimum without network option 'using 'msconfig'." Performed a reboot assuming I see safemode and all I got is a black screen. Noticing that the driver for the conversion of the display cannot be loaded in safe mode and now I'm stuck because I do not have a p LCD monitor that plugs directly into.
I checked the monitor VGA just in case, and it seems to work very well with my laptop. . Done reboot "N"-number of times and the result is the same. ".
is there a way to get out of safe mode without actually doing a HDMI compatible monitor by just using the keyboard?

I read your post on how your office is not able to display after starting in safe mode, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!
To fix this, I recommend you to borrow an HDMI compatible monitor and update the drivers for your system this way. If this does not work, please follow this document on the computer starts up but screen remains blank (Windows 8).

I am currently runinng on stock card and do not want to upgrade a lot on that laptop it is mainly for the office. This laptop comes with a 2 GB memory DDR3 (1600 MHZ according to the manufacturer's Web site) and is painfully slow with about 3 to 4 desktop and software data properitary running applications.
I had problems on my other PC where I upgraded the RAM and the frequency shift caused a too much trouble.
Please suggest what RAM (upgrade is the best for this laptop) - preferably a 8 GB / I intend to take this worthless 2GB. Also isn't need to be two-way - but I can give it a glance.
Please help me with choosing the right RAM (brand, frequency and other stuff)
all links appreciated - I'm ordering online in the United States
Thanks in advance

Satellite R630-13F - RAM upgrade
Hi all
My R630 is faced with a newly added software for Photoshop (CS5 version). Whenever it is quite slow to open and try to merge the picture for the economy.
I was wondering if I can upgrade the RAM. With a very limited knowledge, I would like to know if I need to buy an additional (if there is a vacancy for it), or I need to get one to replace the old.
I think increasing the memory to 4 GB, but I was wondering if it will be enough for Photoshop. Thanks a lot for any input.
Best wishes
Tim
Hey Buddy,
RAM upgrade is not a problem because it is easy and can be done in a few minutes.
Satellite R630 has Intel HM55 chipset, and the maximum capacity is 8 GB. This means that you can install 4GB module in each memory location. Also an upgrade to 4 GB is not a problem, you can keep your 2 GB module and just buy a new 2 GB module. The module DDR3-10066 part number is PA3676U-1M2G.
If you have more questions just after, again :)

Satellite 3000 - X 4: Question about RAM upgrade
Hi all
I'm looking for more information on how to upgrade the RAM for my SATELLITE S3000 - X 4 (120 MB RAM, 14 GB HD I think!). Here's a little history...
This laptop is about 5 years old, and I'm hoping to speed up a bit. I don't want to buy a new computer because she usually serves my needs.
I emptied my hard drive files and unwanted programs. And I ran Jv16 Power Tools to clean the registry and minimize starts the process.
It's always a little slow and if I am considering upgrading the RAM because I think I can do this for about £50. My questions are:
What type of upgrade RAM should I look to buy? (This laptop have 2 RAM "plug-ins" or just one?)
What is the size of RAM upgrade is the maximum an S3000 - X 4 could face?
Could a novice like me to adapt to the style DIY upgrade? Thanks for any help you can offer!
Gabrielle
Hi Gabrielle
He is old enough. I looked for some info, but unfortunately I n t have not found much. The device can use the 512 MB of RAM, and you can use 2 sticks of memory. I'm not 100% sure but I think you can use the module with tracking number PA3086U - 1. 25 M.
The unit is not known to me but please check the underside. On most units, you can find coverage of memory.

Qosmio X 500 02G RAM Upgrade - Compatible speed
Hello world
I am looking to update my RAM in my Qosmio X 500 02G to 8 GB, but I have a few queries.
I looked in the manual and on a site of RAM config but found no answers. The toshiba also recommended that RAM has quite ridiculous prices. This laptop does support dual channel? and it supports 1333 MHz?
It's the kits im RAM is seeking
[Corsair 1333 8 GB: http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-37150059-Corsair_8GB_2x_4GB_DDR3_SODIMM_Memory_Kit_PC3_1060 0_1333MHz_Dual_Channel_9_9_9_2]
It is also in the 1066 MHz version if that's what I use.

> The Toshiba also recommends that RAM has quite ridiculous prices.
Kingston modules are good quality RAM modules.
Personally I always buy good quality RAM and I never had any problems of compatibility or performance.
You can read here in the forum on the problems of compatibility as laptop RAM power not on after RAM upgrade or similar
They always uses some modules at low cost.In general you can use the modules of DDR3 1066 MHz (PC3-8500).

Hello
Say the user manual on the upgrade of RAM?
In general this info is always mentioned in the user manualsBut generally, must be knowing that RAM upgrade depends on the chipset.
The FSB (front side bus) chipset is important for the speed of the RAM.
If the FSB supports only 533 Mhz then your RAM modules would go max with speed 533 Mhz and RAM modules support a faster speed; That is to say to 667 Mhz.
