HP n003Tx: adapter HDMI / VGA to extend the display on the screen.

I use HP-n003tx laptop computer because it is not a VGA port and I would like to thank its desktop display to another monitor, also will use laptop to display on projector (duplicating) Office.

Can you please help me if I use HDMI - VGA adapter for this purpose, or I need to buy the adapter USB - VGA?

Thank you

    Hello

    I know how to extend the hand and the Popup screen, but I want to thank the entire screen in order to make a custom field.

    I want my screen to the bottom of the screen. But I don't know how. I created my screen but I get an illegal state error on the Simulator. Can someone help me by making a screen that covers the half of the screen, while extending the SCREEN.

    Thank you

    Fail the fields in your form, because it is not their parent. layoutDelegate is the main thing that a screen can do about his 'children' (see also setPositionDelegate). The rest should be done by the delegate itself.

    setPosition and setExtent, on the other hand, belong here at the level of the screen, of course.

    So, if you need some custom layout, create a custom layout manager and then use it as a delegate. It seems that you already have an idea on how to do it, but it may be more difficult than you think. If you get stuck, ask here again.

  • extend the screen from left to right ro

    How can I extend my monitor screen left (main monitor) to monitor right - the opposite of the default value in Windows 8 "Devices"?

    If I understand your question:

    1. Access
      Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen resolution
    2. To the top of the windows, you will see change the appearance of your displays. Inside that will be a box containing a diagram of your displays.
      Using the mouse or the touch, the representations of the monitors can be moved. Mice: Place the cursor on the screen to be moved.
      Press and hold the left button. Move the monitor to the desired functional place. Release the button.
    3. OK and leave.

    My laptop don't would detect not the monitor when I plugged this morning, so I opened the screen resolution and tried to add the monitor after the docking station software updated and now I have three monitors in the resolution of the screen. I can't delete the additional and sometimes applications open in the display "(screen shot of screen resolutions)" and I can't see them. I tried to remove the displays control panel, restart and also through to advanced settings in the display properties and still impossible to remove the extra screen.

    Hello Adam,.

    Thanks for the update unfortunately I do not have access to change my user account, as it is an asset of the company. I was able to select the additional screen, then select from several screens: unplug this view.
    That solved the problem of some applications of opening in the screen that did not exist.

    I bought a Ddmi to VGA from Hp and used on my notebook to want to connect to an external projector.  He has worked for several weeks and suddenly stopped working.  The laptop cannot detect card even once. What should I do? what I've done wrong?

    Hello

    Thanks for posting the query on the Microsoft Community Forums. You have reached the right place. Let us work together to find the cause of this problem and try to solve.

    This problem may occur if the hardware is not detected or corrupt drivers.

    Method 1: I suggest you run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and see if that helps.

    Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems

    Method 2: I suggest you try the following steps.
    a. connect the laptop to the projector.
    b. right click the button start and select run.
    c. Type Desk.cpl and press ENTER.
    d. Select the second monitor and then change the resolution of great value and press on apply.
    e. now, press the function keys Fn and F7 to activate the HDMI port.

  • ScrollBar not appearing in the screen that extends from screen

    I'm trying to find a way to put a section not scrolling at the top of a screen that extends from my screen applications.

    final ListScreen class extends ListFieldCallback implements screen
    {

    private ListField _itemListField;
    private LabelField listHeader.

    public ListScreen()
    {

    newScreen = new MainScreen(MainScreen.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL |) Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLL);

    in the example

    HorizontalFieldManager columnHeadingHolder = new HorizontalFieldManager (HorizontalFieldManager.NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLL
    | HorizontalFieldManager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL | HorizontalFieldManager.USE_ALL_WIDTH);

    columnHeadingHolder.add (listHeader);

    DataScroller VerticalFieldManager = new VerticalFieldManager (VerticalFieldManager.VERTICAL_SCROLL
    | VerticalFieldManager.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR);

    dataScroller.add (_itemListField);
    }

    }

    The problem I have is the screen is white but if I click on the wheel the menu and when I close the screen menu appears finally.

    Tried several methods to extend the screen but can't get right.

    You can still use setTitle.  Instead of adding a field, add a handler with your inside headers.

    This works very well for me, but there is a "border" between the title area and the portion of scroll, which varies according to the level of the BONE, and you might not like the look of it.

    If this does not work, then one way I know is to add a fixed height of VerticalFieldManager to the main part of the screen - with the height set so that it fills the part of the screen that you left your title and headers.  But when I played round with it, I can't scroll bars to appear.  Probably something Style that I've not set correctly.  The following are examples which limits the height to a maximum of 3 lines.  This code only works for a line of fields as I'm sure that you number from the code.

    VerticalFieldManager vfm = new VerticalFieldManager(Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR | Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLL) {
        int maxHeight = this.getFont().getHeight() * 3;
        public int getPreferredHeight() {
            return this.getFont().getHeight() * this.getFieldCount();
        }
        protected void sublayout(int width, int height){
            super.sublayout(width, height);
            setExtent(width, Math.min(maxHeight, this.getPreferredHeight()));
        }
    };

  • 'Extend the poster' does not not in Windows 7

    Hello

    I wasn't able to find 'Windows 7' forums, so I guess that's it.

    I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit on my laptop. As well as the screen of the laptop, I also use an LG Flatron 19 "screen. I set it up to "Extend the screens" with the LG being the primary display monitor. That's the way I want it, and it worked very well when I had (previously) 32-bit Windows 7 HP.

    Problem now is that, even if the two screens appear, I don't then drag all the windows in the front of the LG screen to the laptop (I could before). I can't move my cursor within the laptop computer screen either.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you and best regards,

    It is a Windows 7 forum... Where were the research?   Try here instead: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/community

    Check all of the display orientation in your display settings. The default display 1 on the left and 2 right. No matter where the 2nd monitor is physically located the mouse cursor will go just out of screen 1 on screen 2 from the right side of the display 1 with this setting. Same thing to drag windows throughout. You can fix this in the display settings by dragging the graph to display 2 based on its actual physical location relative to display 1. If your secondary monitor is on the left of your primary, drag the chart to display 2 on the left side of the chart to display 1. Same procedure for above - under the guidelines. The mouse must then normally move backwards on both screens.

    I need to create a custom so that I can put an icon and 2 lines of text on the title screen or full screen.

    I need the title to stick at the top of the screen while scrolling.

    Extend the screen or full screen?

    Should what methods I replace?

    Thank you

    For this you need

    (1) extend from MaianScreen

    (2) create a handler and add it

    (3) SetTitle (MyManager);

    VerticalfieldManager vfm;
    vfm = new VerticalfieldManager(Manager.USE_ALL_WIDTH |  Manager.USE_ALL_HEIGHT);

  • The MenuItem to the screen

    Hi all, I have a problem of display of a menuitem when the Screen class is pushed. I want to show the menuitems can I display while the screen is pushed, but could not find a way to do it.

    I'm pretty sure it's something simple, but can anyone provide some assistance?

    I currently have the code to push the screen below:

    super(new VerticalFieldManager(Screen.DEFAULT_MENU));

    Help, please! Thank you very much!

    ankityadav4u wrote:

    protected void makeMenu (menu Menu, for example int) {}
    menu. Add (M1);
    super.makeMenu (menu, for example);
    }

    You really want to change the order of these two instructions - first super.makeMenu and menu.add.

    gyubok wrote:

    super(new VerticalFieldManager(Screen.DEFAULT_MENU));

    I guess that your screen extends the screen. If this is the case, the correct way of creation, it would be

    super(new VerticalFieldManager(), Screen.DEFAULT_MENU);

  • Highlight the screen half

    I have a chart on the half top of the screen, as well as a list on half lower. The graph changes as that scrolling of the list. I want to do is be able to scroll the lower part, while half superior is locked in place.

    I have currently extend screen and have disabled scroll to it. I have two VerticalFieldManagers and inside a parameter is created as well:

    low = new VerticalFieldManager(Field.FIELD_HCENTER |) VerticalFieldManager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLL);

    Unfortunately, the field extends beyond the bottom of the screen rather than facing the screen and scrolling. So, when I moved to the bottom of my list, the cursor goes off the bottom of the screen. If I disable the function stop scroll on screen, the screen scrolls.

    Is it possible to lock the half top in place, while to scroll through the items in the list? I'm looking by using a ListField instead of a VerticalFieldManager, but I'm running into the same question. Any suggestions?

    You can enble the upper part to be constant and lower part to scroll by extending the Screen class. and in constructor of ur class use super(new VerticalFieldManager(),NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL);........see the below code

    public class Example extends Screen
    {

          Example()
          {
            super(new VerticalFieldManager(),NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL);
           //create a HorizontalFieldManager as
           HorizontalFieldManager hfm = new HorizontalFieldManager();
           //to the hfm now add ur grapics picture.  like hfm.add(urpic);

           //Now create a VerticalFieldManager witjh Scroll as

          VerticalFieldManager vfm = new VerticalFieldManager(Field.USE_ALL_WIDTH | VerticalFieldManager.VERTICAL_SCROLL | VerticalFieldManager.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR);

    //now if u want to put label field in the next region which is scroll u can do it by create a each HorizontalFieldManager for u r label and adding this HorizontalFieldManager to the VerticalFieldManager vfm

    hfm1.add(label1);
    vfm1.add(hfm1);

    hfm2.add(label2);
    vfm1.add(hfm2);

    hfm3.add(label3);
    vfm1.add(hfm3);

    //finaly adding a button

    hfm4.add(button);
    vfm.add(hfm4);

    //lastly adding this vfm to screen by
    add(vfm);

    }

  • How to get the name or id of the screen currently displayed?

    I use UiApplication.getUiApplication () .getActiveScreen () to get the current active form. Is there a way to get the name of the current screen?

    You can extend the screen class and implement a getName() method. This will allow you to ask your screens for their name.

  • Problems with Dell USB - C (DA200) to the HDMI, VGA, RJ45, USB3 adapter

    Hi all

    I guess I'm a little desperate at 01:45 haha...

    I just got my XPS 13 9350 and it's great. I bought the USB - C DA200 adpater USB3, RJ45, VGA, HDMI. Unfortunately, I have some difficulty with the device. They are listed below:

    (1) plug, computer does not recognize the device. If I right click and uninstall in Device Manager and do a scan 'new material', it works again - but not for long.

    (2) the device and the Realtek gigabit portion to connect and reconnect every second in Device Manager and it's annoying.

    (3) disabling the wireless card/connection really seems to help the unit to connect and it works 100%. ONLY when the wireless adapter is disconnected.

    Basically, windows is to have a real time hard keep this adapter plugged... almost as if he can't recognize it. I tried to install the drivers for the card - nothing. I've updated all the firmware from Dell crush (including the chipset) and the BIOS... nothing. Same thing. If you do a search on google, there are a few discussions on this problem. There is a nice size on Reddit.

    Someone has an idea, what happens? It's a real shame that a beautifully designed and expensive adapter does not work with a Dell computer.

    Thank you, AJ

    In another thread ("XPS 13 9350 - SSD USB C 3.1 - very unstable/not usable '-I can not add links), the following fixed my XPS 13 9550 problem using a drive HARD USB 3.0 with the Dell USB - C for HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB3.1 adapter:

    ... the adapter USB - C and WiFi are kind of material and power wise. If you go to the options of the advance of the WiFi adapter and change the WiFi output at 75%, this solves a lot of problems with the connection / disconnection of USB - C questions. Exit at 75% reduction does not affect your connection on wireless networks.

    My HARD drive kept connect/disconnect when you use the adapter, but this correction took care of her.
