• BlackBerry Smartphones BB Pearl 8220 Flip - external display troubleshooting.

  On a few weeks ago, my father has updated my BB Flip 8220 with the Desktop Manager software that comes with the phone. When he gave me this back, I realized that the external display is empty or just said "T Mobile". Then I noticed several things: when someone would call me, their caller ID would not appear. When anyone text me, I was not able to preview the text I had before. Finally, I was not able to display the elapsed time between the external screen, so I have to unlock my phone to do.

  I looked at other threads that consider external display problems and read about the technique of picking off the dough. But before reading this, I did several times and nothing changed when I turned it back on.

  Now, that said, my question is: 1) is because of my father, blackberry Desktop Manager software update? I lost the usb cable that connects my phone to my computer, but wanted to check if it's something that I could fix it from the phone itself.

  (2) and if it was because of the update, as it did, where would I go to fix it (in the Desktop Manager program).

  I just found the real solution by reading the post below.  Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager when your 8220 is connected to your PC.  Open Application Loader.  Install the Blackberry attachment Service.  As soon as it finished installing my external screen was back to the clock.  My T-Mobile SIM is currently out of the House and the phone is locked, so I can't try Caller-ID or other alerts until tonight, but if the clock is back I think everything's too.

• G60 549DX Notebook: display issues

  Last week, my screen has been turn off as programmed but turns it back free to within a period of 3 to 10 minutes. How can I solve this problem? I ran antivirus protection and have not found any problem here. It began after the last windows update but when I restore to an earlier date, it continues to do so.

  I did a back up then a system recovery and that solved the problem.

  All the drivers for this model should work on yours, except the graphics (even if you can try the graphics drivers - they are for the HD 8750 M).

  Hey all! It's my first day here, so I apologize if my question format is incorrect. The other day, my laptop does not turn on and showed no sign of slot voltage. I contacted customer support, and the issue has been resolved. That night, I closed the lid, which puts to sleep, and then soon Hibernate. Yesterday morning I tried to turn it on and received the same question. I contacted customer service and they said maybe that's a problem with my hardware. I was hoping that if all users would know additional measures to be taken, before getting my laptop repaired. I followed all the troubleshooting steps. Thank you!

  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  The only thing you can check is to run the diagnostics from the bios if you can get.

  If you can not enter the diagnostics, check for any code flashing of the LED.

  HP Notebook PC - troubleshooting LED Blink Codes or beep during startup or start-up Codes

  If you can't find please contact support for repair options.

• Satellite M30 (PSM33C-00100E) - Display driver for Windows 7?

  I have had no trouble to Windows 7 Home Premium installation on this computer. The only changes that I made were installing the XP drivers for nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 and SD Host Controller.

  Granted I get only the performance level 1 because of my old video driver, but I am always satisfied with the performance of my computer using this operating system. There are Vista drivers for the nVIDIA GeForce Go5200 graphics card that will work on a M30?

  I searched a bit using Google and I founded on that your model is listed on Toshiba Canada website:

  I checked and I can only find drivers for Windows XP, it seems that your model is compatible with only this operating system.
  Is Windows XP not an option for you on this good old classic? I think this would be the best choice for this laptop.

  Otherwise, you will need to seek other sites display drivers, or you may be trying an another series of notebook display driver it works.

  We have a 8470w (XT908UT) computer laptop Elitebook with the screen on the laptop does not.

  Do us get the display on an external monitor but not on the laptop to display itself.

  Check the display settings of the control panel and Device Manager, the external screen is present while the computer screen is not.

  We have unplugged every unnecessary internal element for display (same HDD, keyboard and trackpad)), problem persists

  We changed 2 motherboards, 2 screens and card 1 gfx. Still the same problem persists.

  Can anyone help?

  After some research in the service manual and hp partsurfer.

  It seems that we have received a gfx NVIDIA instead of one card

  Gfx ATI card. The service manual says its compatible but not. Partsufer mentions only the gfx ATI card when the laptop

  PartNumber is submitted.

  the display is now correct.

  On the Web HP Customer Support-software and Driver Downloads page, I downloaded some updates. When I then downloaded and installed the operating system-enhancements and patches updates of system essential to the folder, the action inadvertently uninstalled the Intel Control Center on my laptop.

  On a Web site, I have seen that the operating system Windows 7 most of them uses Intel Control Center. In the Web HP G62-b60SI Notebook PC-troubleshooting page, I read that its recommended that you don't need to download from the site to Intel, but rather to the HP Web site itself for performance reasons, it is done. The product number is XU596EA #ACQ, my Version of the Bios/Date: Hewlett Packard F.47, 15/02/2011 and equipped with a processor Intel Pentium can you please help?

• Display resolution of poor on HP Touchsmart j003cl want

  So I just got the j003 Touchsmart from HP Envy with 16 GB, 1 to and i7 processor and the Intel HD Graphics 4600.  I love everything about it, except that the display quality is the worst I've seen from a laptop in 5 years.  Its Win8.1 running.  I have to think that there is a way, this can be improved.  I followed some advice on these forums, remove display drivers and reinstall the chip intel pilot followed by the HP - still awful display driver.  Totally unacceptable for such a system.  Knowing what I know now, I wish that I got with the chip nVidia video.

  in any case, I'm almost ready to get back to that now, but hoping someone can help me with something to improve display quality/resolution.  The max resolution on it's 1366 x 768 and grainy as hell.

  Advice on how to improve this display quality or even the possibility of uprading the chip.

You will notice that there are 3 different views that can come with this system.  The specification for your model http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Display-and-Video/Poor-display-resolution-on-HP-Envy-Touchsmart-j003cl/m-p/3528231#M82637 lists option 3 with a resolution of 1366 x 768.  Top of page option offers the setting you are looking for, you would need to replace the current screen, the top.  I hope this has helped
