  A few days ago I upgraded my Version of the OS of Windows 8 for Windows 10, now the question is the dolby sound system broke down.

  from the pc speaker sounds are too loud, I tried to display dolby at default settings but his error showing that "IDT PC Audio stopped working".

  You should be able to find it under the hardware ID (Device Manager)

  Right-click on Audio device, select Properties, select the Details tab, then select the hardware (drop-down) ID. A few lines in here will tell you the "signature" of the material.

  I've had my laptop HP refurbished for a couple of years now, and it was working fine, no problems at all. Then, one night a few months previously, the audio literally clicked and stopped working. I was able to reactivate it with a driver that I found for a similar template on the forum, but I have more control on my audio Beats. Laptop computer behaves as if she's not there yet. Where can I find the right drivers for my system?

  In the future when necessary using the button at the top of this page titled 'Support', then click on the "Download drivers" in the menu. Enter your product number.   Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

  Once this done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

  Download the Realtek Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R .  In the Run box, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

  Expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

  When the reinstallation of chipset is finished, stop the laptop.

  Start Notepad and when Windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right-click on the setup of Realtek Audio and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  Audio of the speaker works fine. Headset does not any audio signal. Speakers do not play when the headphones are connected, as they should.

  I couldn't find a page of official troubleshooting for this problem on Windows 10.

  Tried troubleshooting from another thread, and a hard reset seemed to have done the trick

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio driver (this will also reinstall the Beats Audio interface) - how to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  Install the following IDT audio driver. It must return the function Beats to your laptop if it has been delivered with it. You can find out if it worked if the possibility to display a beats icon in the systray after installation. Hold down the FN key and press the 'B '.

  I have the 6570b s. I run Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

  When I play using the headphone jack audio, the audio sound horribly distorted. It is not my headphones as my headset works fine on other devices.

  My colleague, who also has a probook 6570b has exactly the same problem.

  I tried updates driver on the internet, but my audio driver is the latest driver.

  I also ran updates with HP support assistant, and I'm updating.

  According to the HP support assistant my audio and sound devices are:

  1 IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, status: ACTIVE, pilot: stwrt64.sys, Version 6.10.6392.0

  2 Intel(r) Audio display, status: ACTIVE, pilot: IntcDAud.sys, Version 6.14.0.3090

  Help, please.

  Problem is the Jack HP used in this book. You use the headphones without microphone pin Jack.

  The photo below left only a helmet of 'Trust' works without a problem...

  Is not to solve this problem, but help you make the right choice in buying a new helmet...

  I bought a sim free palm pre (not more!) per month or if there are handtec UK and now the sound intermittently does not work. its like the headphone jack is stuck I have seen is common, but when there is no sound the screen randomly turns as I pressed the release button. So I think it's a dubious link on the cursor because when I blow in the slider/headphone he arranges a little then it comes back, which is annoying because it drains my battery more quickly.

  Any ideas?

  PS I spoke to someone on the palm live chat and they said to run webos doctor, (I don't think its software tho) but I thought I'd try anyway when I entered the serial number it says its zero! Then I discovered theres another sticker under the sticker with the IMEI and serial numbers on the box that says it's a movistar phone. When I tried this serial number to download webos doctor he says for movistar and I don't want to use this it incase locks the phone to network :/

  I installed windows on my Dell Inspiron 17r SE 7720 10, but now the sound is very flat, volume is soft and the subwoofer stopped working. I looked on the Dell site, but there don't seem to be audio drivers available for this notebook for windows 10 reference drivers. Realtek also do not resolve the problem.

  Hello. Has anyone tried installing the audio driver? There is no audio driver for the Inspiron 17R SE 7720 Win10, then you will need to use the audio driver IDT for Win8.1 and install it using compatibility mode.

  1. download and save the driver to your desktop.
  2. double-click the new icon on the desktop to extract (unzip) the files of the driver.
  3. the wizard of the extractor will create a new folder for the driver files. It will be located at the "c:\dell\drivers\xxxxxx". Note the exact location that the wizard creates.
  4. If the driver begins to install automatically, stop (cancel) installation.
  5. search for the driver files on the hard drive (the location you noted).
  6. find the file "setup.exe".
  7. right click on setup.exe to open the context menu.
  8. Select Properties.
  9. Select the Compatibility tab.
  10. check the box "run this program in compatibility mode for"... WIN8.1.

  If installing the driver IDT does not work then I suggest you return the laptop in the operating system in which the audio worked properly, unless there is a compelling reason to have the Win10 operating system. Dell does not have to put any new audio drivers for the Inspiron 17R SE 7720 and Win10 audio management in the notebook models where the audio is not supported is hardly encouraging.
