HP Notebook PC/Windows7

Hi, Hello, is there anyone here? I'm so computer illiterate that it is possible to be so forgive me if I speak nonsense. My PC is not going to a restore point. He cannot afford to make the restoration of the system, any suggestions? Thank you in advance. Teresa.

Try the following.

Hold down the Windows key and press R.  Type services.msc and press ENTER.  Scroll down to the entrance of shadow copy volume, made a right click and select Properties.  In the drop-down list next to "Startup Type" box select disabled , and then click on apply to save this change.

Restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, as before, click on the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

sfc/scannow                (Note that there is a space between sfc and /)

Let the entire process and then run it again.

Once completed the 2nd scan, type exit and press to enter.

Restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, hold down the Windows key and press R.  Type services.msc and press ENTER.  Scroll down to the entrance of shadow copy volume, made a right click and select Properties.  In the drop-down list next to "Startup Type" box select Automatic , and then click on apply to save this change.

Restart the laptop again.

Let windows load fully, then click on the Start Menu, type Advanced system settings and then on enter.  Select the System Protection tab and look in the box 'Parameters of Protection' to see if TI disc Local C shows on.

If it appears that in, click on the button create and see if it goes successfully, create a restaore point.

If the State as Off, left click the entrance once just to highlight, and then click Configure.  In the next window, select "Restore system settings and previous versions of files" and click on apply.  Wait a minute, and then try the Create button in the previous window.
