  I tried to copy a document. He fed properly and the printer seems to be print normally, but the output page was empty.  Then tried to print a document and the result was the same. • OfficeJet 4315v: all-in-one Officejet 4315v Telec impossible. Dials ok but receives always a 'no response '.

  Office Jet 4315v won't send fax. Dials ok and you can hear the ring of fax receipt machine but after a number of rings, a leaf print and says 'no response '. The fax Mach I am trying to fax in functioning.  The Officejet 4315v worked flawlessly in XP, but has not worked since buying a new HP desktop with windows 7 64 bit. The 'new' on the HP website driver doesn't help.

  I noticed that there is the same question on the forumn since 2009. either HP didn't and answer or that they no longer support this equipment.

  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  I should be able to provide a few suggestions that may fix the problem.  You mentioned that the problem started after installing the printer to your computer running Windows 7.  Do you send the fax through the computer jobs, or you use the front panel of the printer to send?

  If you put the paper in the fax machine and dial the number and send the document by the front of the printer software should not affect the functionality of fax.  Software will be just the effect of fax if you have the document on the computer as a digital copy and go to file > print and select the fax as the destination.

  The first thing I would suggest is to stand alone on the Officejet 4315v fax test to see that everything goes or if something breaks down.

  To run a test fax:

  1. Press the printer setup button
  2. Use the left or right arrows to access the tools
  3. Press OK on the tools
  4. Use the left or right arrows to navigate to run the Fax Test
  5. Press OK to Run Fax Test
  6. A fax report should printer

  Another thing to try is send a fax to the fax HP Server.  It would be a good idea to try to fax to another number, just to check. HP fax number is 1-888-473-2963.  There is no charge for the number of fax HP.  If the fax is accepted Fax HP Server will automatically send a fax to prove the sending and receiving.  If the fax is successful and the fax test passes, then the problem may be with the other fax line.

  We have a printer all-in-one HP Officejet 4315v it worked very well until lately... because we wanted to print different for photos etc... and will preferably... somewhere, I clicked on something I would not (just a guess at this point)

  When you try to print a document... and show in the preview pane before printing... the page is empty! ... "but" if I click on "test page" it prints very well... I can't figure it out... sure it's preferably somewhere...

  IAM scared that the COPY option cannot be set as default.

  You may need to press on the > (arrow) to highlight the options and then click OK to perform the operation.

  I'm looking for the HP Solution Center for my Windows 7 64-bit OS.  He was not an upgrade of Vista.  It is a new laptop (Copmaq Presario CQ62) for installation of factory Windows 7 x 64.  What I saw in my research involved a system of upgrading Vista to Windows 7.

  I have two printers that have the same problem.  An OfficeJet 6210 and an OfficeJet 4315v needs the center of HP solutions for scan.

  Am I try to download a Vista driver, try to install it, or is there a better solution.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  It there is no complete software functionality and the driver available for this older printer. You will need to use a third-party PDF program to scan in PDF format. You can use Microsoft Paint or Windows fax and scan to scan documents and photos. If you are interested in upgrading to a new printer, see the link below.

  For some reason any looking for the Officejet 4315 or 4315v has not turn what either, but a search of the Officejet 4300 gave a link for the 4315.  You have not specified what operating system you use, but you can see which are available for this printer from HP here page.

• HP OfficeJet Pro scan is no longer with Sierra

  I am running OS X Sierra on 2012 MBA with an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer / scanner.

  I noticed that after the upgrade to Sierra that the scan function no longer works... I tried to uninstall / reinstall the device, but the problem continues... I have checked the Apple Web site and notice that the HP OfficeJet 8600 is listed as a compatible scanner.

  I note also that the 8600 OfficeJet is connected as a printer via WiFi network and worked perfectly with the captain.

  responsibility to provide drivers to work for an update of the OS is with the developer of this device, not Apple. visit the page of the developer for your make and model camera and see if they offer drivers, otherwise contact the developers. Apple will sometimes provide printer drivers, but if a device is a legacy printer the developer may choose to retire it from use.

  Airport utility is not related to operating an MFP. It there is no scan via airport utility function or any what router airport. That is, the printer must be connected through its network and NO USB connection to the router. What is the Airport base station is the printer is simply a network client. No printer function any is active via the airport.

  You must install the drivers HP and the complete software for any OS that you are running on your computer.

  It's the HP drivers and software that will allow you to scan over network. Or if NOT, maybe... often scanning on network is problematic.
