HP Officejet 4500: 10 Windows drivers

I downloaded Windows 10 on my system and now it doesn't ' seem to be grateful for my printer, do I need to download all the drivers for my system to recognize my printer and where I can find these drivers

I see that you are searching in drivers.  I would like to help!

I would recommend starting with a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I recommend also to download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.

    Can you ensure that your Windows 10 updates are installed and up to date?

    As long as you have selected Win 10 on HP site, it must download to win 10, so ned not to worry if it says otherwise.

  • Cannot download driver HP HP Officejet 4500 G510g windows 7 64 bit

    I connect to a HP officejet 4500 with no installation disc.   I tried to download the driver from HP.  All the facilities just advise tht it has stopped working.  I downloaded drivers from the HP using Chrome and IE but same problems website.   It seems that HP have not all the 'work' drivers available for this printer.

    I am aware that I need to not have the usb cable during the installation of the driver.  I have now tried the same driver may now so many times I need to uninstall the driver previous installation attempts.

    Whatever it is, the HP printer ran out of warranty Nov 2011 so I can't chat directly to HP but conjecture could call them at a cost, but this shouldn't be necessary just to get a working driver.

    The code produces the printer seems to be CB867A.

    Any advice much appreciated because otherwise it will return in the tray and never with HP.

    First, click the Start button and type % temp % in the search box.

    Open the Temp folder listed.

    Remove counter them to this folder by clicking CTRL + and then on the delete key.

    This contect is temporary content and can be deleted without any problems.

    Then run the OJ4500vG510g_m_Full_13 - in .exe once more.

    Once the error appears again, run the fix you listed on your previous post once more.

    If it always points to the folder from A to F, open the HP folder newly created in the Temp folder, copy the path and paste it into the patch once it shows the installation path and check any change.

  • No printing Officejet 4500 on Windows 7

    Just bought my Officejet 4500 to replace a Lexmark work. I say this because to me, this seems to indicate that the USB/connection cord also works.

    Installation goes very well without any problems. Connected the USB cable when prompted by the instructions in the CD. Printer will scan and copy correctly, but not print from the Internet or a computer (MS Office) document. It will also analyze part of an example of MS Paint, which would indicate the communication is not the issue.

    Printer HP diags indicate no problems. Diags MS Printer show everything works correctly.

    I use Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. When asked to print, there is no error message, just no response from the device.

    Anyone has any ideas on this?

    After a phone call from 3 hours to support with a good person, I could barely understand , it was finally established that it is my Dell computer that is at fault. For some reason when the installation is complete, the computer will only recognize the device as a FAX. There must be a problem with the software of the printer on my computer.

    The printer works perfectly when connected to my wife's Acer laptop.

    Now I need to go to another and spend several hours with someone else I can barely understand and try to solve the problem of Dell.

    I'll mark the "Solved" post for now as there seems to be nothing to do with the HP printer. But I'll post back if/when I know what is the problem and how to fix it... just in case someone else may have the same problems.

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510g: Windows 10 Driver not recognize OJ4500 via USB. does not scan

    After the upgrade to Windows 10 JO 4500 would print not scan. (From August 2015) completely uninstalled and reinstalled the latest driver. The Setup program does not recognize that the printer has been connected via USB (the button "Next" is never active). I was able to print but never able to scan.

    Launch the center of solutions results in:

    HP solutions Center can not run because your device installation is not complete.

    Today, on 20 October, I downloaded another driver updated (September 2015, 140_408.5), uninstalled all the previous HP printer software/driver and tried again. The pilot 'up-to-date' has exactly the same problem - not recognizing that I have now connected to the printer via the USB port (trying various ports on the PC) and never goes to the "following".

    I clicked the help button.

    1 said to confirm that the device is connected and powered. Click back to try again. No luck.

    2 says that "some hidden configuration commands not will be over." Click back, wait a few minutes for the installation of the unit is complete. No luck.

    3. Affirms that if the problem persists, check the troubleshooting section in the Readme on the CD-ROM. I have no CD so no luck.

    Then, I couldn't leave the Setup program except by using the Task Manager to kill the process running.

    I'm now able to print, despite the above experience.

    Since the center of Solution will not work, I tried Scan color of the façade. View of the front panel "no scan options".

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Downloaded HP Print and Scan doctor. Despite the fact that I had just downloaded the latest driver, the good doctor displayed:

    A later version of the software is available for this product.

    After downloading and installing, he recognized my USB printer connected and completed the installation.

    Now, I can scan.

    Help please.  I tried for days install my portable printer officejet 4500 G510n to my PC G wireless that runs 10 recent Windows updates.  I tried everything, including the uninstall/reinstall but it is never successful and I understand the different problems every time.  I even tried setting up by USB... always without success.  I don't understand what is the promlem.  AND when I use one of the programs that install fails, it installs a solution for me for windows 8, which does not, of course, because I have 10. I really wish I had a printer again!

    I hope to help with installation issues you are having with your Officejet 4500 on Windows 10. Here are some steps to start you off. When you are finished, just reply to me with the results, errors, etc. Any information you can provide will help!

    1 uninstall all printer software that is currently installed.

    2 restart the printer and the computer entirely.

    3. clean boot the computer and restart it: How to clean the boot

    4. when the computer restarts, download and install the software here.

    5. once the printer installed, return to the boot process and re - activate the start up programs.

  • Cannot be set as the default printer Officejet 4500

    I installed a printer wireless Officejet 4500 on Windows XP and it works fine. On a Windows 7 computer that is connected to the wireless network I "added" the OJ4500 that has been properly installed. Although it appears in the "Printers and faxes" window it can be defined as printer by default and does not appear in the list of printers, when printing. I downloaded and installed the drivers from HP, but still I am unable to access the printer under Windows 7.

    Download and install the drivers from the HP website solved the problem on the Windows Starter machine.  No need for other answers.

    I see that you want to analyze with your Officejet 4500 and Windows 8.1. I will certainly do my best to help you with this company

    I'll that recommend if you have any currently installed printer software that you delete according to this document, uninstalling the printer software , simply because that, then you will be able to start from scratch. Once that is done be sure to restart your computer.

    To scan, you will need software, so you can download the HP software for your printer using the HP printer installation wizard. This tool will search the software and download it for you.

    Once this is done, please follow this how Scan: Windows 8 document, as it will also help for Windows 8.1

    Need to know where I can find the updated drivers for my printer OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z.   I use the Windows 8.1 operating system.

    I tried to use the link at HP, but to the point that it supposedly gets to the install window, it asks me to insert the disc that came with the printer.  When I do this, I always get error message saying something like "the link is not found."  I also have another message to some bridge indicating that the full version must be downloaded.  Then, the same process is repeated.   I should add that the disc from the printer indicates that it is compatible with XP, Windows 7 and other earlier versions, but not 8 or 8.1

    I tried 6 or 7 times with the same result.  Dell (the company who bought the laptop) was unnecessary and suggested to contact HP.

    I can no longer scan, either, because the computer is not recognzing the printer has a function of scan, so when I go to use PaperPort 12 to analyze things, it recognizes that a printer is connected.

    Any help to solve these problems would be greatly appreciated.

    If the problem persists, continue following the steps below:

    2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
    3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)

The only one that Im having trouble with is my all in one PRINTER! I have the HP solution for the resettlement of the printerdrivers Center.
