  I just installed Windows 8.1 to my computer, and I am currently using the latest version of Firefox. I noticed that after I used the browser for a while, when I'm watching a video stream, or scrolling / clicking through the pages, the browser hangs temporarily for a second.

  4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  Check your regional settings in the control panel. Make sure that your time zone is set to which your PC is actually in.

  If your time is changed after turning off the PC, it can be that the battery of your PC that keeps your clock "ticking" is dead and must be replaced. For desktop computers, it will almost certainly be a CR2032 and be something relatively simple to find and replace. for laptops, maybe it's not a CR2032 and may be very difficult to find and replace. Whatever it is, when in doubt, consult a technician, ideally one that you can get a recommendation for. I would have thought 10 dollars (including the battery) had to do for a desktop computer. A computer laptop pourrait be much more expensive, both for the battery and work.

  Thanks for postinging your question in the Microsoft answers Forum. Follow the steps below to perform a chkdsk /r on your computer. CHKDSK checks the integrity of your hard drive.

  1. Restart your computer and immediately press the F8 key until you reach the menu Advanced Boot Options.
  2. Select safe mode with command prompt from the list of options
  3. At the command prompt, type chkdsk/r (there is a space between the k and /)

  Once the command chkdsk is complete, run the SFC scan again.

  Let us know if that helps.

  I built an application in Flash Catalyst I publish as an Air application for a desktop computer. I'm trying to get the application to return to the main menu (State1) when 5 minutes at the top of any State. I also need the timer to zero if I moved States. The application is an information booth and so, once a person has stopped using and left say the state3, I want to return to State1 (menu) for the next person to use.   Well firstly you should not use const

  State: String const = currentState;

  const means that the variable will not change, but you put in it to a variable, that could change. Instead, it should just be set like a normal variable as follows,

  var state:String = currentState;
  

  But since you simply set the variable equal to the value of currentState State we can rather just delete this line and use the currentState variable when we check to see if we are on the State of "Menu." So, here is the modified code.

  We now use OWB 11.2.0.2 (actually the same question is here also in 11.0.7.0).
  
  Validation of any workflow changes the last time updated to the date of initial creation + X hours. So if I change a workflow that was originally created for example 2010-01-01 today, save then the date will be today, but if I can validate the workflow then the update lat will be again 2010-01-01 + X hours. The same goes for dimensions. It seems it's the same for maps also.
  
  Is this a bug in OWB? or a problem of configuration on our side? Has anyone noticed in their configurations also?
  
  The problem we have with it, is that we build our releases based on that field for everything that has changed since the last version. But if that date changes then this solution does not work.

  Yes, it's a bug, I don't remember the number, but it has already been fixed and will be included in 11.2.0.3 release.
