HP OfficeJet 6700: since Sierra cannot save updated scan

I've updated to Sierra and my scanner works fine. I can see the documents scanned in my screen but the "Save" button is grayed out and not clickable, no matter what I do. I can scan but unable to save anything.

Starting from the Applications folder move the HP scanning to the trash and empty the trash, it is incomaptible with Sierra.
Then install the last HP Easy Scan below and use it to scan:

I see that you are not able to use the ADF on your HP Officejet 6700 Premium to make Copies, but you can use it to perform a scan.I would like you to do a hard reset:
1. disconnect all cables and cards of memory in the printer. Unplug the power cord, directly from the back of the printer when the printer is still on.
2. unplug the other end of the power cord.
3. If there is a power supply on the power cord, disconnect one end and reconnect it.
4. at the end of 60 seconds, plug it directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or battery backup because they can cause the printer to lose over time basic functionality).
5. connect the power cord to the back of the printer.
6. the printer should automatically power back upward. If not, turn it on with the power button.
7. try to make a photocopy (if your printer is a printer all in one) before you connect the cables from the printer.
8. connect the other cables needed to the printer.

Toshiba Journe Scan: Cannot save a scanned in the media card image
I got a scan for Christmas day.
I can't save a scanned image to the media card, I tried both xd and sd cards.
I know that they are achievable cards that I took the test photo with them.Can someone please help?

OfficeJet 6700: Cannot save a scanned document
Today I did something I do very often, scan a few pages in a single file. But unlike other days, when I am trying to save the file (which has 3 scanned pages), save button shows idle and I can't save the file.
The scanner window is always on, I can see 3 pages, but I can't save as save button is not clickable. Someone knows a must?
The only thing I can think is that this morning I installed MacOS Sierra and life was suddenly big before it came. Still not sure if it's because as the new OS.You will appreciate any help, thanks!

I can record is more than one scan to any device memory.
If I select memory as option save I get an error! He does not just of any device memory.

To send a scanned since Officejet 6700 document, follow these steps:
1. press the power button to turn on the printer.
2. press on the right arrow to display the second navigation screen.
3. press the down arrow to scroll through the options of scan and then press the option that corresponds to the document or picture you are scanning.
a. send an email in PDF format - use this setting if you want to scan and send a non editable text document in Microsoft Outlook or e-mail software.
b. send an email in JPEG format - use this setting to scan and send pictures or images in Microsoft Outlook or e-mail software.Note: You can only send a scanned document if you are using Microsoft Outlook or other software as your primary e-mail program. You cannot use e-mail programs based on the software (for example, Gmail, Yahoo Mail or Hotmail) unless you can send and receive emails from your account by using Microsoft Outlook or a similar program.

Printer OfficeJet 6700 Premium - features iOS5. Cannot print from devices
Printer OfficeJet 6700 Premium with latest firmware update as of August 25, 2012. Apple iOS devices 5, iPhone4 and iPad (v3) devices with installed AirPrint. The printer is visible and selectable from Apple devices.
Of any one of the two devices, I select the print option and wait for the document to print. No document print devices.
Not sure what the next step.

Try to bypass the temporarily from router to refuse any multicast router question:
Click the icon on the printer wireless, and then click settings.
Select Netowrk default settings and confirm any command prompt.
In the menu Wireless select Radio wireless and make sure it is set to.
IOS click settings, and then click Wi - Fi.
Select the SSID printer include 6700 in his name.
Allow 3 minutes for good to set the connection.
Now, reconnect the printer to your router by entering the same wireless settings and follow the wireless configuration wizard.
If you were able to print without similar problems, it means that the router is causing the problem.
Unplug it for a minute and check for the difference.
If there is no change, please specify your router brand and model.

Having finally decided to take the plunge to upgrade to Windows 10, I discovered that my Officejet 6700 Premium previously peripheral work will scan is no longer.
My connection to the device is via a wired connection with a static IP address on the printer. It all worked perfectly under Windows 7, but now, I can only print to the printer to win 10.
I tried to uninstall the previously working software (under Win 7) and downloaded the latest version of the HP (OJ6700_1315 - 1.exe) software, which BTW is not a patch on the previous software that I'm used to using - but it did not help. Still no joy with the scanning feature.
I tried to uninstall all software, so I tried to launch the Wizard installation HP which seemed to re - install the last set of software (as above) with the same results - I can print it, but if I try to scan using the Officejet 6700 App it appears a dialog box saying "inaccessible Scanner. Scanner communication cannot be established. Make sure that your product is powered, check the connection and esnure that your network runs correctly. ...". Amazing result given that the application displays all levels of printer ink, and I can print - every time!
I tried disabling the firewall - no difference, still do not see the scanner.
Tried using other windows applications; Paint, etc. - no joy.
I also tried the "HP Print Scan doctor and" nothing does - even, he gives up and says to contact HP support, with no details about what to tell them!
I hope someone else out there could have had the same problem and found a way to make it work?

In case anyone is interested, I bit the bullet and did a new install of Windows 10 on a formatted drive. I then installed the same software that I had tried on the "upgrade to Windows 7" windows, 10, and everything works as expected.
Therefore, there is definitely something wrong with the upgrade process, and the removal of the HP scanning software & resettlement never did his job correctly.
I look closely at the list of DLLs etc., charged by the printing software, but could not detect anything immediate.
Then, certainly in my case, a new facility was to solve this problem.

How can I scan directly to Thunderbird without having to analyze everything first and then attach it to an email?
I'd rather not use (or want to) Windows Live Mail.

I noticed you're wondering how to scan to e-mail directly in Thunderbird, with your HP Officejet 6700 on Windows 7. I am pleased to see that for you!
Scanning to e-mail software, will always use the email client that is configured by default. An option that may work is to set Thunderbird as default email client. Please see this article, make sure Thunderbird the default e-mail Client.

I have a HP printer/scanner/fax multifunction, and after updating my Mac OS X Sierra, the "HP Scan" app does not allow me to save my scans more. Printing seems to work very well. Scanning occurs, but when it comes to saving what I scanned, 'save' button is grayed. I have read elsewhere on the forum than what has happened to other people using ordinary scanners (not multifunction units), but the software offered for regular scanners would not apply to my device.

TWAIN with Officejet 6700 problem - cannot open TWAIN device default
I'm having a problem with my online banking application to open default device TWAIN (Officejet 6700 Premium) to allow a check I want to file online scan. The application installs an add-on Internet Explorer called EZTwainX by Dosadi (version 1.64b7). However, when I click on the scan button to scan the front of the cheque, I get a message "Cannot open default peripheral TWAIN". Any help to fix this would be appreciated.
My computer is a Dell 530 running Windows 7 64 - bit OS (recently installed).
Internet Explorer 11 (version 11.0.9600.17041). I guess IE is 32-bit position where he doesn't explicitly say 64-bit in Help - about Internet Explorer.
HP Officejet 6700 Premium also recently installed in Win7 64-bit environment.
Note: Before the recent installs above I not had this problem on Windows XP SP3 using the HP Photosmart C7280 AIO printer.

I am able to scan documents or photos using the HP software.
And I checked control panel - uninstall. Bandoo neither Movie toolbar are installed.
On a hunch, I decided to download Java again. He said that I had already installed the latest version but I re-installed anywaye I did it, I am now able to file online using the TWAIN of Java Applet. My TWAIN problem seems to be solved with the resettlement of Java SE Runtime Environment 7 update 55 (32 bit).

slow programs since Sierra update
Ive noticed a specific slow performance hardware and software since I did the update of Sierra last week. Programs are slow to load, fast wifi is terrible and therefore slow to react and to load Web pages. I ran Etrecheck but don't know what needs sorting or sort. I noticed its Webkit highlighted by using a lot of resources. What is it and do I need?

Close Safari and other applications you have open.
If you can - take your mac offline drive - then open activity monitor and the disk activity - MDS and MDWORKER, jobs of the referee - tab and disk read/write activity - means that your mac can still be in the cleanup process after the update.
When it is connected to the internet, it can make downloads of software - boring when you don't know its happening.
As your system is not slow not - her very busy - and may not give you as much attention as you want.

The HP scanning application is not compatible with Sierra, so you may experience problems.
Remove the HP scanning by moving it to the trash, then empty the trash.
Instead install HP Easy Scan below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:

If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:

Finally, make sure that your drivers are up-to-date by clicking the Apple icon, select about this Mac and then press on software update.
