HP Officejet 7310 transport Jam

I tried all the recommended solutions and still cannot get it printed, he tries, but then I get the error message

Jam of transport

Door open, clear transport jame and then press OK to continue.

Hello

Please check if there is no paper stuck near the transport area. If found remove it.

Also, check if you are able to manually move the carriage.

If the truck moves automatically / manually, then we might have to reset the printer. Therefore, check your Inbox for the steps to perform the reset.

If the transport does not move, the printer must be repaired.

  • HP 7310 transport jam becomes jammed traffic!

I have a HP7310 all-in-One and a Windows 7 PC, which works well for a few years and just got the error message "Carriage jam" feared after a weakest page. I followed the instructions HP release of this http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00042632, including the replacement of the ink cartridges online.  Following the instructions, I moved to the Middle transportation (where he stopped when the original error has occurred) on the right side of the machine and cleaned gently from the machine.  Transport is now stuck on the right - she will go only left about an inch or so and of course the transport Jam message is there. I read in some forums on this site that there is no non repairable this possible repair, but on a further mention of sites of the means to free transport. I liked my 7310 HP - if there is anything that I can try to free transport and clear the carriage jam error, would be very grateful to the community of HP. Thank you!

If you can't find any debris locking trolley in place, then I, unfortunately, can't unlocked transport. I don't know of a workaround to allow you to manually unlock the transport if it is blocked.

You can consider replacing this printer.

The carriage move not left by itself when I open the lid. I heard a noise of rattling after printing... I know that the video States if all else fails it may need service. But I was just wondering if there may be a few other simple fix, I forgot? The White Ribbon seems intact at both ends. The transport does not seem to move at all. I pull it to the left, and he stayed there after the closing and reopening of the coverage. I also removed all cartridges and reinstalled them.

  • transport jam f on Officejet 6310xi all-in-one printer

I use an all-in-one HP Officejet 6310xi priniter.  I send the print command and when prinited sheet is delivered first four lines or are so prinitinig that half of the line and the message thenrerst prints OK.  However, after the delivery of the printed sheet I get message, "Transport jam" I received instruction of "open the door.  Clear jam and then press 'OK '.  How can I stop this from happening?  My operating system is Windows 7.

Have you removed all paper from the input tray and shined a flashlight upwards in the status bar to ensure there is nothing caught in the rollers?  Remove the duplexer/rear access door and make sure that there is nothing in the rollers at the back.

I would also check the printer.  The top and look down inside the right-hand side of the printer (right side of the carriage house).  Do you not see any paper into a ball in this section?

There is also a document with steps to help fix a carriage jam in an Officejet 6310xi.  The document can be found here.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Why is there ink in my Officejet 7310 ink cartridges?

After that the error message indicating that the transport was stuck on my Officejet 7310, a colleague moved to transport and discovered masses of black ink in the well under the ink cartridges. A lot of black ink * beep * has been dug with a Q-Tip, who solved the problem of paper jam carriage. Much ink remains in the cartridge. Where it comes from and how to safely clean? Is a normal buildup? How can't we accumulate more ink? Thank you for your suggestions.

Here a link to a document that shows how clean and maintain different areas and parts of the printer such as the capping station.  He will be given instructions on how to go about cleaning the machine and what materials to use. It is advisable to use on the machine lint free rags.

Some excessive accumulation of time is normal because the ink can be "fall back" on the printing process.  It is recommended that a cleaning is done every six months, if this is the first cleaning, there might be more to accumulate in the printer that could be expected. I hope this helps.

  • Officejet J6480 carriage jams when printing wirelessly via the plugin from HP printing service

I try to print on my printer OfficeJet J6480 HP all-in-one to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet that runs Android 4.4 Wireless using the "HP Print Service Plugin on the tablet.

    Measures already taken;

Sucessfully downloaded/installed the Service HP Print on shelf Plugin

Radio wireless to the printer and correctly configured to communicate with the router wirelessly activated successfully.

    Problem:

When you try to print something from the tablet to the wireless printer, the printer is trying to perform the print operation (flow paper in the printer from paper tray, shows 'Printing' on the printer screen), but then never made a real impression and gets a 'Transport Jam' indication on the printer screen.

When this occurs above, I opened the hood top, checked for jammed paper in the paper path (Nothing), did tension of printer many times, cycle of fact alignments cleanings and cartridge many times, changed the paper to different types of paper.

None of these actions corrected the problem...

I'll also add that when you perform the steps of printing with the radio wireless on off the printer and the cable connected to the printer, the printer functions normally when you print from my pc applications - no traffic jams. Also, the printer works normally when you perform a function 'copy' locally from the printer control panel - not roadways of jams.

I thought maybe an update of the firmware to the printer could solve this problem - ideas about this being a likely solution?

BTW - how you normally clear / would correct a cart-jam regardless of printing wirelessly or through an ethernet cable?

If the firmware update is not a solution, any comment on what could be the cause of the problem?

If an update is available, could you tell me how to do the upgrade and where can I download it from?

Thanks for all your comments... Denny

    E - rog,

Two things I wanted to first of all thank you a lot for the response to my original message concerning the problem of printing wirelessly to my printer HP J6480 of the Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 via the Plugin of Service HP Print.

Secondly, I wanted to aplogize for the very long delay in responding to your... I had some health problems with a family member who prevented me to try your suggestions to the problem.

I am pleased to report that I managed to solve the problem... I am now able to print to the printer of the tablet.

A little history on the fix...

I tried to download and install the update of the firmware from the link you provided, while having the printer connected to the PC (Windows) computer via a USB connection, as you suggest. (It was initially connected through my home network, so I had to first uninstall, then reinstall via USB connection). When you try to install the downloaded firmware it failed, even after several attempts to re-downloading/reinstalling.

Instead, I uninstalled the printer again, reinstalled over the home network, downloaded the update of the firmware directly from the HP site by locating the printer model, then the firmware. This time the firmware successfully installed (was able to view the progress of installation of the firmware in the display on the front panel of the printer). Make the installation of the firmware with the printer installed on the network domestic (instead fo via USB), the installation process allowed me to search for the printer on the network - it found it successfully and successfully installed the firmware.

After this successful firmware installation and turn on the wireless radio on the printer (via the button on the front panel), I was able to print successfully from the tablet... YES!

Needless to say, there is no carriage jam messages as before... and I did not try your other suggestions to go to the HP article on carriage jam error States/solutions.

I am really gratefull for your response/suggestions...fixing this problem did the usefulness of my tablet to increase dramatically to have the ability to print... cudos to you for your efforts on this forum and a big "thumbs up" for your records.

    Denny

  • Remove and check color on Officejet 7310 cartridge

I need all possible solutions for a new error message - remove and check color cartridge.  I work on a Mac OS 10.6.8 and aired recently in a lot of printer problems.  My HP Officejet 7310 was low on black ink, so I replaced the cartridge and it aligned properly without any problem. Later, when I tried to print labels, it gave me an error message and flashing exclamation point "remove and check color cartridge.  The color cartridge is not new and has not been replaced recently. It is half full. I did remove the cartridge and saw nothing wrong, so I re-inserted it. Once again, the same message. Then I tried to clean the copper contacts, as I've done it before. Still no change. I did a search for solutions and tried the following supposedly a HP technical support:

    Solution 1:

Follow the steps below to power cycle your all-in-one:

    1. check that the device is on. Unplug the all-in-one power
    and unplug the USB/Ethernet cable.
    2. wait 30 seconds.
    3. connect the power supply only.
    4. Repeat steps 1-3 two times more.
    5. on the third time after plugging the unit running, reconnect the cable to the
    All-in-one to your computer.
    6. check the feature;

    Solution 2:

Remove the cartridges from the printer and follow the steps below:

    1. clean the copper contacts of the cartridge with a slightly moistened cloth or a cotton swab
with water distilled, filtered, or bottled. The tap water may contain contaminants that can
    damage to the ink cartridges.
    2. clean the contacts in the print carriage, inside the printer. Transport print contacts are made of copper and are found in transport, so that they line up with the contacts of the cartridge when the cartridge is installed.

    Solution 3:

Reset the all-in-one to the default settings by using these instructions:
    1. disconnect the power cable from printer when the printer is on.
2 press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays the message Reset full Semi the front panel of the all-in-one device.

NONE of them worked.  I am connected by USB as ever, our WiFi seems to remain stable.  Can offer you solutions to the problem?

Kudo!  Kudo!  of course, the voltage is too low or the amps available short-term (short-term reserve amps.)  with 2 good carbatteries, I could establish free error initialize, all in this one works very well. Make sure the power supply is adequate, thank you and congratulations to all of you!

  • OfficeJet 7310 - Compatible 64-bit of Windows XP?

I just upgraded my PC to a workstation HP running Windows XP 64 - Bit Edition.  It does not appear that my Officejet 7310 all-in-One does not work with it.  Y at - it a solution?

HP said there is no driver, but you can use the Deskjet 990 driver for printing.

I suspect that you can also use the web server integrated for scanning if you connect to the printer via the LAN.

    Hello

The HP Photosmart 2570 series is not supported by the HP ePrint software, so you may experience problems.

You can find the following table with web solutions offered for any model of HP printer, HP ePrint is not supported for your printer:

  • All-in-one Officejet 7310

The scanner no longer works.  I can't find the original CD.  Any suggestions?

    Hi Pattles,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your HP Officejet 7310 will analyse any more, but I'm happy to help you!

To get help, I'll have to know the following:

    1. If you use Windows or operating system Mac and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
    2. If the printer is connected, USB, Ethernet, or wireless.
    3. If the printer is capable of making copies of itself.
    4. If the power cable is connected to a surge protector, or directly to a wall outlet. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

  • OfficeJet 7310: Reported Device Manager driver missing for printer Officejet 7310

I used the full setting install software downloaded from the HP site to set up a printer Officejet 7310 on a Lenovo laptop, T540p with OS 64 - bit Windows 8.1.  Installation and printer seem to work fine since I can print and I can also scan from the HP Solution Center utility.  However, Device Manager reports two errors/anomalies as follows.

Under the heading 'Multifunction cards' the Officejet 7300 series properties shows the status of the device such as:
This device is disabled. (Code 22)
Click Enable device to enable this device.

To the title of the theOfficejet 7300 series entry 'Other devices' properties shows the status of the device as:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no compatible driver for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.

I find this a little confusing, because I believe that the installation of the software is supposed to include the pilot, as well as the printer seems to function (which could be due to default Microsoft drivers).

Any thoughts on how things are in this State and how to recover would be deeply appreciated as I prefer not to "ignore" error messages.

    Thank you

    Glenn

Well, I finally got a moment for all dismantle and reinstall according to the suggested procedure.  The offending Device Manager entry disappears not directly as a result of using the tools Microsoft and CCleaner, but after these steps in the process, I was able to remove the entry from the device.  I suspect that the registry was somehow blocked upward and demelee enough tools stuff for me to delete the entry.

The relocation went well, but unfortunately, I misread the part about the reference of USB and initially installed with a USB connection.  I had to go back and add the network connection, which was not a problem.  I wonder if I can remove the USB from the printer through devices and printers instance while keeping the Solutions Center HP happy on the network printer instance.

Thanks again for the detailed procedure.

    Kind regards
    Glenn
