HP Officejet Pro 8000: HP Officejet Pro 8000 installation CD

Hello Forum,

I recently had to fix my printer. Since I reconnected it it I lost my ability to print network for my laptop. The printer is connected to my turn, and it prints fine from there. I tried loading installation / setup CD to join the process of network connectivity, but (I guess since many updates of Windows 7 because I bought the printer & my system) all I get is the error message. "The operating system on this computer is not supported - current operating system: 601.64.

Does anyone know how to reconnect my network printing capability without using the CD "Setup / Install? Y at - it an update of the CD (software download) that I can use to run the option of network connectivity?

Thank you!

The version of Acrobat provided with CS4 was Acrobat 9 Pro. Acrobat 9 Pro Extended was sold as a stand-alone product.

If you already have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, and then uncheck the option to install Acrobat when installing CS4, and you can continue using the stand-alone copy. Acrobat and CS4 don't actually talk to each other, so the installation of CS4 will not affect your installation of Acrobat unless you force the CS4 install program to replace it.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8000: installation of the driver wireless Officejet 8000 Pro says default gateway is 0.0.0.0

I'm chasing a well-documented problem of my printer lost network connection after a variable period of printing to do not. The only way to connect is to change the power supply, but the printer may take 5 minutes to blow and grunts until it settles and prints...

I put a static IP address on the printer (10.0.0.250) as well as an empty default gateway successfully, and the documents are printed after 5mins of blowing and grunting (save the regular lost connection which I'm hunting...).

I put what I thought has a static IP address on the router to match (see image below), but now I don't know if it was necessary, and if the 'hosting of the fixed DHCP server' is correct. It might be useless and missleading...

Using the configuration of the printer to 10.0.0.250 interface, it seems to accept the installation of the network when the default gateway is blank. With the help of 10.0.0.2 caused the 'page not found' error in my browser (Chrome).

However, when you try to reinstall the drivers, the installer has grumbled to the default gateway is set to 0.0.0.0, which currently is the only way it will work...

The Win7 PC is plugged into the router.
The printer wireless to the router.

ipconfig on the pc gives Ethernet card details below.

So basically I have no idea what I'm doing...!

    ==============

Ethernet connection to the Local network card:

    The connection-specific DNS suffix. :
    Link-local IPv6 Address...: fe80::c8e1:63ef:85e0:7 24% 13 c.
    IPv4 address...: 10.0.0.249
    ... Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.
    ... Default gateway. : 10.0.0.2.

    Router config.

Thank you for your comments. It seems that I solved the problem of the default gateway. Time will tell if the remains of the printer connected through long periods of no use (see update below).

It seems that the configuration of the router of the "DHCP fixed existing host" has nothing to do with the device assigned a static IP address. In fact, it seems that this setting prevents the printer through a default gateway of the router address.

I noticed that when you give the PC a fixed IP, it connected through the router without any other configuration of router. If I reasoned that it may be applied to the printer also, so I moved the printer 10.0.0.251 and Bingo! the default gateway can be set to the IP address of the route.

Since then I downloaded to other updates, which is supposed to correct the common problem of wireless printers, loss of the connection.

I'll try to report in the next few weeks an update about the stability of connection network printers.

    UPDATED: May 23, 2016

And more of the foregoing, my router support suggested I increase a parameter "timeout" from 24 hours to 10 days. I did it more than a week. Today, the printer worked after the impression of not for about 5 days

    Hello

  • OfficeJet pro 8610 all-in-one: Hp officejet Pro 8610 Installation on windows 10 use mode windows 7...

I couldn't install the software of my officejet pro 8610 on 3 of my computers portable windows 10.  I contacted HP support, and we have tried to install the software nothing works.  I went to the 2nd level and they have worked trying to activate the printer as well.  I was told that the drivers are all or nothing on windows 10 systems.  I have tried to install from above and on the printer is known for the 192.168.1.172 network, but when I try the wireless installation, he never finds the printer.

Today, I ran the exec to install in windows 7 compatibility modeand it is installed.

I went to the directory where the installation files.  In my case

program files, HP, HP officejet pro 8610, Bin, DeviceSetupLauncher.exe... You click with the right button, selected properties, click the Compatibility tab, activated windows 7, applied and then double click on the exe to DeviceSetupLauncher.  He was out of the race.

It worked for me, hope this helps someone else.

    Hi @newmktgolf,

Thanks a lot for sharing this information. I'm sure it will be very valuable for all users who have Windows 10 and are experiencing problems installing the software of the printer.

  • Windows 7 / HP OfficeJet Pro 8600: Installation network without success

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

    Printer: HP OfficeJet Pro 8600

My goal is to enable the "Scan to Computer" feature of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 on Windows 7, which does not find my computer when I try to use since the touchscreen front panel of the printer. The printer connected to my wifi LAN.

In the Setup program on the CD, I chose to NOT to install any software apart from the "HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 software basic device", which installs fine. I also choose NOT to install the web services "ePrint" or him allow to connect to the network for updates or share of usage statistics, or none of it.

During Setup, the network "Check" concludes correctly the printer on my local wifi network, but the 'Installing network printer' part next fails still, having for result "Network Installation fails", no other details. The result is the same if I try again with "Real-time Protection" of Microsoft Security Essentials offshore, or with the Windows Firewall off the coast. No other antivirus is running.

The program "HP Scan" immediately fails with the message error "HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 is not found."

Under control panel > "Devices and printers", I see a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. Windows installs and print with that printer without the CD.

Under control panel > "Device Manager", the printer is NOT listed under "imaging devices".

My Acquisition of Image Windows (WIA) service is running.

    Clues?

You try to scan from the PC using the scanner or scan from the printer to the computer?

If it's the latter, then the "Scan to Computer" function must be enabled via software of the printer installed on your PC. Then you should be able to scan directly from your printer.

If this is the first, and then quickly run this tool and tell me what it is:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 Installation/use issues

I recently bought the all-in-one above and connected on a Windows XP system.  I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 and the unit seems to work fine but I have a few questions about its programme of installation/use.

    1. on my old computer, I remember having a 'manual' on the computer.  This doesn't seem to be available with the transition to the new system?  I tried to reload the software setup, but it said something like "system not supported"?  Is it possible to get this restored functionality?

    2. I see where it seems that there are new drivers for Windows 7 - if my 8500 does not work properly, is it interesting in the upgrade?

    3. I just tried to print checks (pre printed on paper) with Quicken 2010 for the first time with this new printer and when I go to print, the 'controls' are printed from the paper tray rather than the document feeder automatic where I white controls (when I put in the blank in the automatic documents feeder checks the display confirms insertion of the original ready to load or somesuch).  Sort of designate after checks taken from the ADF instead of paper tray?

    Thanks for any info.

DexterM, did as you suggested and downloaded the package of 'complete the software' very large.  Exactly what I was looking for.  Thank you much for your able support; I really appreciate the help!

  • OfficeJet Pro L7555 installation fails on Windows 7 (64-bit). "Fatal error".

Printing/scanning doctor does not resolve.  Wired network.  This device works on my network for almost 2 years.  Has stopped working and will not reinstall.  Basic printing works, but cannot scan.  «LaunchNetworkInstall gets back unexpected value 1246.»

In short, if you ar following the instructions to the letter - that is not possible.

I downloaded the software from the link I provided and that you have provided. I chose the full features software and installed the printer on my Win7 machine. Both these pages appear in all versions of the software, and the page with the check box that requires you to accept the conditions required by law. There is no way for these pages to be omitted on your computer.

I'll transfer my instructions to uninstall/reinstall of the printer.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

The START menu type "%temp%" and press on ENTER. Here, I want you to press Ctrl+A and press on REMOVE. Some files you cannot delete them, ignore these files and delete the majority that allows it to.

Follow this link to download full feature software and drivers of the printer:

  • Tecra 8000 - installation of update of the BIOS & XP or ME?

I got the task of sorting of a s laptop Tecra 8000 a friend who is completely riddled with spyware and viruses. After killing most of the infections I backed up what I have to and decided the best course of action is a reconstruction of the BONE.

I don't know what operating system to suggest that it installs. Will install and make ME use Win98 drivers or if this is not recommended (I have no experience with ME)?
XP would be a better choice with its own pilots (reading the posts on here that SP2 causes slowdowns well)?
Either the OS above with a Bios Update will be necessary? If so the update of the Bios from 9, 30-trad does not require a 500 MHz + processor? The Bios will tell me the CPU speed?
I found information on how to install the updates to the Bios; I just check that I can install the 9.30 - trad on a Tecra 8000 with a processor more low spec?

    Thank you very much
    JBW

I installed the trad 9.30 on my tecra 8000 233 mhz without problem. European downloads have the 500 mhz different bios updates voor and lower. The trad version is for lower versions.
The American downloadsite have only 1 bios, the 9: 30 for all machines.
It confused me, so I took the trad 9.30 which is safe for all machines under 500 mhz.

Good luck... not to mention that I installed winxp pro on it and it runs smooth, I only dissabeld a large number of services that run in the background that wheren can't used to free the memory.

  • 8100 pro wireless installation with Linux computer

I use the Pro 8100 with a Linux computer via the USB port. Is there some way to make use of the connection of wirelsss printer so that I can print from an Android Tablet? The manual lists only methods for Windows and Mac.

    Hey IanSinclair,

I see that you have an Officejet Pro 8100 and you want to connect to a wireless network without the help of the USB-wireless software that is available on Windows and Mac.  I have a guide that shows how to connect a USB-wireless printer without a PC.  Please click here to access this information.

    Basically:

    • Turn it on off and then on the printer wireless
    • This will make the printer stream a configuration connection
    • Connect with the Android phone
    • Go to the SAP of the printer (192.168.223.1)
    • Select the network tab
    • Run the Wireless Setup Wizard in the built-in Web server to connect the printer to your wireless home network
    • After that, you can reconnect the Android device to your wireless network

If you need help with this problem let me know!
