HP Officejet Pro 8600 +: labels
Can I use laser or inkjet labels?
Use inkjet labels - you can buy these almost anywhere and they work with your printer.
If you are a Windows or Mac user...
You can use the Avery with Word software to create labels if you wish:

After that I have upgraded to Windows 10 and Word 2016, envelope and label printing feature would no longer work on all-in-one printer, HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium. Please provide any possible solution.
Hi @dshirley22,
Thanks for the response back.
I would at this point uninstall all previously installed printer software. If you need assistance, here is a document that can help - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows).
Once the software is uninstalled, use the HP printer installation wizard to help install the software. This tool will search and find the version of the drivers and the printer software up-to-date.
Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.
In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.
Thank you!

HP officejet pro 8600 more printing envelopes chemistry
The normal printing process seems to work perfectly, only when printing envelopes #10 they live I have the problem with the crooked not printing any way how the envelope is inserted according to the Setup (Microsoft Word).
To date, the following steps were taken:
1. the version of the firmware is up to date: CLP1CN1322CR
2. all the rollers are clean and act freely, no paper jams/particles anywhere - front or rear.
3. the envelope seems to come out all right (looking directly at the front that it falls on the paper tray.
4. different types of envelopes #10 were tried.
The twisted print template is not consistent, sometimes it low angles differently and sometimes the implementation of the address of the sender and the recipient are different.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
PROBLEM SOLVED
The result is: READ THE MANUAL
I had been assuming (incorrectly) OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus would print the same as my previous HP OfficeJet Pro L7680 envelopes. This model allowed me to print envelopes by putting on paper envelopes, I already had in the tray, put the envelopes on the side right side down. He had always worked before with no problem and the envelopes printed correctly, even if you could use the status bar and adjusted the sides to accept the correct envelope size (never tried).
On the 8600 model, you MUST remove any paper in the tray and load the envelopes in the Center, adjusting the sides to the size of the envelope. In ADDITION, you must insert the face or envelopes down with the edge of the flap that is pointing to the right, a bit like the graphics on the bottom of the stage show.
IF YOU USE MS WORD TO PRINT ENVELOPES AND LABELS, IT MAY BE CONFUSING BECAUSE IT SHOWS 6 POWER AVAILABLE, IF YOU CHOOSE THE ((QUATRIÈME DE LA DROITE) METHODS, IT SHOWS THE ENVELOPE IN THE MIDDLE AND THE EDGE OF THE FLAP FACING RIGHT, THIS CAUSES THE IMPRESSION OF BEING UPSIDE DOWN ON THE ENVELOPE.)
That's what you should first read the User Guide (manual) for for the 8600 printer printing envelopes:
Print on envelopes (for Windows, p. 39)
Load Media (p. 24)
Load the envelopes (p. 25)
My frustrations have completed cockpit error.

OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premiun: deleting e-mail in scanning to e-mail option
My scan-to-email address book is full. I need to remove the address that I no longer use. I have not found the option to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Hello @ImaTazzie73 ,
I understand that you have difficulties to change the address book for your Officejet Pro 8600 Premium.
I want to help you with this.
He says that your operating system is windows 7. On your desktop, you should have an icon that looks like your printer.
It should be named HP Officejet pro 8600.
If you double-click on this it should open the Printer Wizard.
Here there is another icon, you can click to scan to e-mail.
It should open a tool that will allow you to edit the address book.
Another option is as follows.
Tap the wireless on your printer and note the IP address.
Using Chrome or another favorite browser, type the IP address in the URL bar.
This should take you printers EWS (built-in web server)
Select the tab labeled scan.
You should now see where you can edit or change your address book.
I hope this helps you. Let me know if you would like more details, and I dwell.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 no possibility to configure the Port
My OS is Win 8.1 (last version), latest version of the printer driver, last wizard to install printers used.
My first printer "HP Officejet Pro 8600" folling down on the issue of the screen. I'm doing a swap with the same model, I have to uninstall and reinstall the full with Wizard, now I have some difficulties to recognize the printer.

-A few times, printing find after printer communication error.
If I go to "Properties/Port/port" I got "Error Message.
> An error occurred during port configuration.
> The file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.
Could be a former key stay in the registry (with the old link to the printer)
I have to uninstall and reinstall the wizard fuul without success.
Now the analysis feature does not run and printing run with delay.
Major Remarq:
I have no problem with MAC OS 9.x to 10.10.1
Thank you very much in advance for your support
Hello
The port must not be changed that way but through the HP software, it is managed by the software and such a mistake is planned during the attempt to change the port...
Try opening the HP Officejet Pro 8600 software, and then click the Utilities.
Click Update IP address and type the IP address of the printer, which can be found by clicking on the icon wireless/network at the top of the Panel before you the printer.
Click on save and confirm, then close and reropen the HP software,.
What happens when you try to scan now?
It'll work, or is there a specific error or behavior?
As well try now the doctor of printing & scanning HP, it is listed under the Utilties batn so, follow the steps on the screen by selecting the difficulty of analysis and let me know the results if you are still having problems.

OfficeJet Pro 8600 all-in-One connected as network printer loses connection
In December 2011, I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 all-in-One to replace an Officejet 6500 as my network printer home. The 6500 worked very well on my cable, but his screen did not, I tried some of the features offered by the 8600 and I got a good price on a new warehouse of BJ. I have the 8600 connected via ethernet (not wireless), with a static IP address. All my computers on the network are running Windows XP Pro SP3 and are up-to-date with Microsoft updates. However, from one day to the next my 8600 will lose connectivity scan (Scan of the computer shows it as being disabled on all my computers at the same time, and I can't reconnect), and if I do not have anything he'll (as in a few hours) also lose connectivity impression. The only way to restore connectivity is to uninstall the HP Officejet Pro 8600 device software basis of all computers, and then reinstall the printer. I had a phone conversation and two debates with HP Technical Support; They suggested that the problem is in the firewall on the computers (but if that were the case I don't think that the loss of connectivity would occur on all computers at the same time), the IP address setting (doesn't make sense) and the printer driver is not not the latest version. I tried all the suggestions, and none of them have solved the problem. The last counselor "has raised the issue to the next level", which proved to be a Manager with no technical expertise and his only suggestion was that I have to return the printer to the merchant. I think the problem is the firmware in the printer (which, according to the 'update' on the printer option, is the latest version). Any other suggestions or experience?
After a lot of research and find the settings that I did not know that Windows XP offered, I found that the following appear to have solved the problem I've known - at least the printer is now operational for more than 48 hours without losing printing or scan connection. Here are the steps I used:
Start Control Panel connections network and Internet
Choose "network connections."
Right click on "connect to the Local network.
Choose "Properties".
In the top window is the name of the Ethernet computer connection port, select "Configure" next to this window
Select the tab labeled 'Power Management'
Uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
Select the "Advanced" tab
Select the entry "power saving Mode".
If this entry is set to change 'On' to 'Off '.
Select 'OK', and then close the windows that were opened

How can I get the printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 year more?
I looked in the staus report printer and the different labels I can find on the printer itself. I don't know that I just lack.
I bought it new, so I have no reason to suspect that the information has been removed before purchase.
Thank you
The printer status report has 47 online date (rounded to the week) the print head has been installed. Except in rare cases where that the printhead has been replaced, this would be the date of the printer has been installed.

Cartridge inkjet Officejet Pro 8600
What are the replacement of cartridges for the Officejet Pro 8600?
HP does not list the Officejet Pro 8600 in their list of 'Types of printer' or 'Printer Series' or 'printer names.
950/951 or the XL version
It is labeled on the printer, when you open the cartridge door.
Here is a video on how to to replace cartridges: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FaUjFYHtss

Cannot select tray 2 copy with Officejet Pro 8600 Premium
Win 7, 64 bit
OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium
I installed the drivers on the disk supplied in the box. (Not sure if there is a new driver or an update yet for this product.)
I bought this printer so that I could load my UPS package labels into a bar of tasks and plain paper in the other.
I loaded the labels into Tray 1 (according to instructions) and paper in tray 2.
I have everything works fine except that I can't understand how to specify tray 2 as the tray to make copies of. In respect of the COPY > SETTINGS > SET SELECT only Tray 1 is displayed.
Issues related to the:
(1) why not tray 2 option to copy? How can I fix it? A firmware update maybe?
(2) printing these UPS labels from tray 2 seems to work very well. Is there a reason why this would be bad?
Thank you!
Connected by ethernet cable, he downloaded the new version of the firmware (... 1136BR).
That fixed it! Tray 2 is now an option under settings to copy.
The only disappointing is that I asked about a new version of the firmware in my first question... but it took a whole week to get this resolved... and I had little to get to the answer myself!
In any case, now it is fixed and seems to work very well.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - what is HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe do exactly?
-HP Officejet Pro 8600 more
-Windows 7
-No error message--> is something happening?
Hello
Installing HP Officejet Pro 8600 over CD installs some desktop icons, among them the one that points to
"C:\Program HP HP Officejet Pro 8600\Bin\HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe".
By clicking on this icon, nothing happens, even if a process with the HP Officejet Pro name 8600.exe appears in the Windows 7 Task Manager. Clicking on new starts a next process.
My Question 1: What is supposed to happen?
My Question 2: I'm still looking for the installation of the HP printer, well I could complete my installation through the Web server, there should be one also a desktop application. If HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe is the start of this desktop application, what am I doing wrong?
Thank you and best regards,
The executable your seeing is the control panel of the printer on the computer. He replaced Solution Center on the newer printers. The reason why it is not opening is because the pritner has not been completely installed. To complete the installation, click on the start menu, select all programs, find and select the HP, folder, select the 8600 folder and select Add a device (it can be labeled printer installation and software). That should allow you to complete the installation and access to the printer.

It seems to be a bad printhead, or it needs manually cleaned with water and lint. If these steps do not resolve the problem, contact HP (1800-474-6836) support. -

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus doesn\ ' impression on network t...
Two weeks ago, I set up a HP Officejet Pro 8600 more using two USB & ethernet cable connections... Everything works very well on all devices - iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro, Win7 desktop PC and portable Win7... until the printer goes to sleep. We does not display every day, so it may be a few days between printing / scanning.
As I kept an eye on to do this, it has happened twice now, it may take a few days before the printer is unresponsive. When laptops Windows 7 need to print, the printer does not respond until what feed us the cycle. The INVESTIGATION period has not changed on the printer and the software HP Update says that everything is up-to-date.
From what I can tell, other devices - Win 7 Desktop, iPad, iPhone, and MacBook Pros seem to be the problem.
Win 7 laptop 1 - connection WiFi AP w / cable for printer
Win 7 laptop 2 - cable ethernet to AP w / cable for printer
Win 7 Desktop - USB cable for printer
MacBook Pro - cable ethernet to AP w / cable for printer
iPad/iPhone - WiFi connection AP w / cable for printer
Printer Firmware Version - CLP1CN1232AR
Set a static IP address in the printer out of the router's DHCP range. Use a channel wireless fixed like 1.6 or 11 never 'auto '. Power at the same time. Power on router wait 2 minutes. Please turn on printer and connect. Try now.
