HP Officejet Pro 8610: Impression of watermarks on Officejet Pro 8610

I have a HP Officejet 4632 who had the means to print a watermark across the settings of the printer on the .pdf documents. Since I've upgraded to an HP Officejet Pro 8610, this option is no longer available. Failed to add a watermark to a PDF document without buying the Adobe Acrobat software improved to $12.99 a month, what I do. I need this watermark for tax .pdf documents created from my tax softward program. Any ideas without printing the watermark on paper before you print the document?

Hello

Use another driver that support such as a workaround:

  1. Under devices and printers the 8610 icon right click and select printer properties. on the Ports tab to take note of the active port of the driver and close this dialog box (you need later).
  2. Click on add printer, click on "the printer that I want isn't listed.
  3. Choose a Local Port and press Next.
  4. Select the same port as used by the driver and click Next.
  5. Select HP in the Manufecturer list, select the HP Deskjet 6940 / 6980 and follow the wizard to add the printer.

On the effects tab, you can add a watermark.

Kind regards

Deskjet 6980 driver is compatible with the Officejet Pro 8600 series (including the 8610) and provides the order of the pages, but also of the other missing features of the Officejet Pro driver 8610 including:

    • Order of pages
    • Resizing options, including the page scaling in percent or adjust.
    • County of copy (with Assembly option)
    • Image mirror (for printing T-Shirt transfer or stickers)

Install another printer driver will have no effect on scanning applications.

    Good,

After reading so many others and worth that they have with this issue, I submit to you that this could be a serious problem.

I have an impression of this printer using any software problem, if I try to select the paper size of 4 x 6 or the "Photo paper" options in the printer settings.

The best part is the error message I receive Windows 8.1. It is said that the printer "to monitor". There is no pop up n the printer as a mistake and nothing in the screen "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers\HP Officejet Pro 8610 (network)" on an error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And do not pull the shit 'check the paper tray' here... I checked about 12 hours of your support help documents and I'm tired of seeing this document as the solution to the problem. This is not it.

Also, I don't want to hear, which does not support the format of paper. The software driver has several options of stock of photo paper and several sizes...

    Hey @kardon1,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you have some problems with small photo printing from the application of all-in-one remote control for your Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I can help with that.

What is happening is the size option you are using is select the paper size in the printer, not the size of the photo. If you want to print photos of 3 X 5 or 4 X 6 then you will need to reduce the size of the image before you load the all-in-One Remote App or load 3 X 5 or 4 X 6 photo paper in the printer. A final alternative is to print from a Windows PC or a Mac instead, that would give you much more control over how pages are printed.

    Hi @Kajika

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that your printer produces pages at random. I would like to help.

I never heard talk of a printer be pirated, but I've heard about people abusing someones direct address or wireless connection ePrint and then print.

This link will help you understand all direct wireless and how to check if it lights and weather or not it has a password. If it isn't then people could connect to your printer with a mobile device and print. Wireless printing Center.

    Hey @LoreeW,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you have a few problems with ePrint using your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.

I recommend that you first check your printer to verify its intact ePrint connection:

    • Touch the icon (webservices)
    • If you see an address @hpeprint.com, I recommend that you try to send a test ePrint from a different email domain than what you use on your work computer.  If it prints correctly, we can rule out your printer as being a factor in this particular issue.  If your printer's Web services is enabled is more, re - enable.  Any problem would occur with this, click here to access another relevant post I created.  Scroll to my suggestion re: setting a manual DNS as this tends to help by allowing the webservices where fail the normal steps.

If you were able to send your printer work ePrint of any e-mail domain other than the one you use at work, read on.  Click here to see an HP ePrint article that focuses on the various factors that can contribute jobs ePrint not printing not.  Note that some areas of corporate email may become incompatible with ePrint due to the presence of a digital signature in the outgoing message template.  EPrint jobs you send work meet these criteria?

The duplex is not supported by the HP Officejet Pro 8610. automatic duplex printing is supported only for this model.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610 does not print the files, but other things work

    Hello

I want to install a whole new 8610 to our computer with WIndows 8.1 HP's OfficeJet Pro and I use a USB cable.

I installed everything correctly according to the setting (green controls along the + "full installation") and the printer is set as default (also with the green check mark).

There is communication between the two because I can print test pages (head alignment, etc.) for HP printer app and I can also scan a doc to the PC successfully.

Despite the light the printer in the print menu, when you try to print, I can't any print file from PC to the printer, an email or a Word doc.

And what baffles me, is that I can see the printed file go into the queue for a bit of treatment, then it disappears as if it's done, but it is not an activity of the printer.

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled nothing doesn't.

This should take 10 minutes to Setup, and I just don't understand.

    Thanks for your help.

    @hay3911

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

It seems none of them apply to your printer.

    I opened the two opinions:

    • The first notice does not list your printer - does not apply.
    • The second notice, although completely obscure in its formulation, provide a local patch page.  I clicked on that and was redirected to the Support page.  The name of the Patch is still a mystery (no surprise); I clicked on the drivers and software link (this page) and the result did not show anything about your printer / product - does not apply.

These opinions are a bit hard to read sometimes.  You are wise to consider and track them.  There is always the chance that you could get something that you want to act.

You can always open the Support of your printer Web site and take a look here to see what is available on this page - most of the time is there is a alert there is a notice on the Page.  At the very least, you can scan drivers for updates that might be relevant.

  • OfficeJet pro 8610: Hey, Experts! 8610 does not correctly print controls

QuickBooks Pro is based on the software of the printer installed to control the printing order.  In other words, controls are loaded FACE down, with Check #1 the first to be fired, then #2 and so on.

However, even if she PULLS check #1, it displays the LAST audit of the lot.  Apparently, a recent update of the software (?) REMOVED that feature of the 8610, or so I was told.  In any case, it isn't here.  I was given of the workaround was to install Basic 64 bit software 8600 and reallocate this printer driver.  Does not work - it did not always provide the option.

Print a large NUMBER of controls.  I do the bookkeeping for the 14 divisions, all with their own accounts of cheques and that (at least for me) is a feature of CRITICISM .

  • OfficeJet Pro 8615: Officejet Pro 8610 vs 8615?

What is the difference between the 8610 Pro Officejet and 8615?

I went to the HP website and the section with the Officejet Pro printers.  There, you can make comparisons, but they don't even list the 8615.

BTW, is there something wrong with this website.  When you access the Officejet Pro page and, for example, to check the 8610 and 8620, then click on compare, all you get is the price.  No details.

    Hello

The HP Officejet 8610 and the 8615 are the same exact printer, the 8615 is a submodel of the 8610 series and its specifications are the same

I can see the problem to compare, to which you refer, I'll forware this information.

Generally, the 8620 adds ADF duplex (copy, scan or fax from an original 2 faces) and a larger touch screen (4.3 '' inch by comparing a 2.65 "the 8610-inch display), are the 2 differences between models.

    Kind regards
