HP Officejet Pro 8620: How to scan double-sided with my HP OfficeJet Pro 8620?

I can't find anywhere to select the double analysis face?

Hello

From your computer you can scan both sides using HP Easy Scan:

https://iTunes.Apple.com/us/app/HP-easy-scan/id967004861?MT=12

In the menu presets, set the type of Document and the source as document feeder, and then check the box to scan both sides.

Kind regards

Shlomi

  • How to scan double-sided in the order of the pages, in PDF with Photosmart 7520.

    Hello everyone,

I have a Photosmart HP 7520 use with Mac OS Mountain Lion 10.7 connected via Wi - Fi. I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro.

I need to scan double-sided 300 pages in a document. I'm sure that the ADF will bite of it, but if I understand correctly that the 7520 does not scan two-sided (as it prints) if can anyone advise how to on this subject.

To ensure the best possible scan, I thought to scan all pages on one side, then go back and scan in the rest. Otherwise we could force me to edit pages after scanning, which makes a long process. I guess, but don't know how do it, that I could create a PDF and then a second, then using software tools to load the second PDF integrate after each page in the first. Or is there a better way to go about this?

I so want, just to be absolutely clear analysis in a document double face of 300 pages in the most user-friendly and fastest way possible, the end result is probably a 600-page, PDF format.  Please indicate the methods and software tools, I need.

Thank you in advance. Can't wait to put it to work.

Do you use the HP software to scan from the ADF?  On my Windows PC, I have a file called HP printer Assistant or, for some, it's simply scan HP. You can find in your utility Section.  After I open and select scan in one. PDF document from the ADF, I see a box to check the brand which allows me to turn on duplex scanning.  Do you see something like this when you scan on your computer?   I know you said that you use a Mac, so I hope you have this option somewhere.  I'm not very competent in Mac OS, but I'm sure that the term "scanning two-sided" can be found on the appropriate scan utility.  I know it's possible!  Let me know if you find it or not and I do on a Mac computer and research here.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium can scan double-sided legal format of the ATF documents?

I can't get the award-winning Officejet Pro 8600 to scan one side of a document of legal size of ATF.  I use Panel of the printer to scan to computer and save to the PDF format.  I select original: two-sided in the Panel.  The printer will scan only on one side and an error message appears saying that the tray supports that double-sided scanning for certain sizes of paper.

    Hello

    Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, the ADF can scan only 1-sides for legal-size documents.

You can, however, use the software to "Add pages" using glass as the example below.

    Hope that helps.

Please click "Bravo Thumbs up" on the left, if it helped you and 'Accept as solution' If this helped solved your problem.

  • How to disable double-sided printing on HP jet Office 6700

I just bought a HP officejet 6700 premium for my iMac computer. I also installed Microsoft for my iMac. I don't want the duplex printer forever. I tried going to system preferences / printers, etc. and it directs me to the Web site of the printer. From there I can't find a way to change the default to double-sided printing to 'off '. What impression in Word, select print and then show presets, and it is said that double-sided are turned off, but still, it prints double-sided. I also tried to register a new printer with printing double-sided as off and it still prints double-sided. I also do not know how to change the default setting on the printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi crayric,

    We gladly invite you.

The above information refers to Mac OS X, however, I included the steps for the latest versions of OS X (10.7 or 10.8) because you did not mention the version of your operating system.

If you have an earlier version of the OS 10.6 or 10.5, you may need to click the icon shaped triangle next to the name of the printer to spend the print settings in the print dialog box.

For any question, please specify your exact OS version (you can find that out by clicking the Apple icon, then the about this Mac, also well let me know the exact Office for Mac version installed on your Mac (2004, 2008 or 2011).

  • HP7520: How to scan 2 pages with the automatic document feeder and save to a file?

How can I scan 2 pages with the automatic document feeder and save to a file?  (Right now, it happens that 2 separate files)

    I have a HP7520, & again, I wish scan 2 pages into a single jpeg file.

    Thank you

Well, in general JPEG format does not support several concept as a document page. Thus, each image in the JPEG file is saved in a single file. If you are considering of reduction of 2 images in 1 paper size (example: A4), you may need some image editor to do

If you are looking for a mulit-page image format, TIFF can be a format suitable to use.

In the print window expanded you will find next to Copies the checkbox for duplex. Select the check box.

  • How to print double-sided in In Design when certain sections have an odd number of pages?

I'm new to In Design and I'm doing something that seems pretty basic and the difficulty in finding ways to do it and I have not found anything in the Adobe Forum or online that responds to this situation.

I'm working on a document that is divided into sections, with page numbering starts at Page 1 for each section.  I have mirror image layouts for odd pages and even masters - for example, the page number is on the left on even pages and to the right of the odd pages, as you would expect generally to see on a double-sided print, where in a workbook or a workbook, the even-numbered pages are on the left and odd pages are on the right.

I print the document from my computer to a printer that supports double-sided printing.  I don't see any option in the file / print window to two face impression, so I put this option on the printer itself by using the [Setup...] button at the bottom of the window.  It works - I'm printing on both sides of sheets of paper.

For the moment, the first section is 3 pages (two blocks spread with the first page, one with the other two).  The next starts of section by number 1 on the third page spread (one page) and continues then a two-page spread - as expected.

That is the problem - the first page of the second section is printing on the back of the last sheet of the first section, rather than on a new sheet from the front - so when I put it in a binder, the odd pages are on the same pages on the right and the left.  Whenever I have reached the end of another section with an odd number of pages, she rotates on itself again.

There is a workaround solution manual I found - browse the document and add a blank page at the end of each section that has an odd number of pages (and check "print blank Pages).  But I have to do every time I feel that I am adding new pages and add/remove blank pages the number at each change of sections.

I can't believe that In Design does not provide a way to make this work correctly, I'm sure a lot of people have had this same situation, and I hope it is something simple that just, I have not been able to understand...

    Help! (Thanks!  B ^)

Frankly, it's a feature of the years, I tried, and I expect a professional page layout application to have. Something on the order of "duplex respect page layout." It would be very useful when printing only part of a document that happens to start with a page of pairs.

I do catalogs in the sections, and each section begins with a left page. When duplex printing a section given, I must print this page first separately and duplex then the rest. Kind of pain and should not be necessary.
