  Your choice is excellent, because your computer's BIOS is version 7.  Above the level of 650/660 cards usually UEFI, requiring a BIOS version 8.  So, your card is an excellent choice.  But, you have to pass this power supply 300W at minimum of 400W and we (collective members) tend to migrate toward allowing a big overhead.  Power supplies are what attract what is necessary, but the charge/power curve allows the PSU to run at the best performance and a cooler temperature. Currently, the Corsair CX600M is for sale.

  Install the updates to the BIOS listed under Windows 8 , one at a time from the lowest verision.  However, before that, install the latest diagnoses that are displayed on the same page and run a full game.

  I just got this new computer and try to make it work with the game Elder Scrolls v Skyrim   the game starts and runs ok however by default is of poor quality with video intel detected 4600.   Don't want to use the video intel when even, so no matter not much.  I want to use is the video card from nVidia to 740 m.

  I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and things together global use the nividia card, in program files, I put all the exe files of the game to use the nvidia card.   I entered skyrimprefs and sd3ddivice to change sD3DDevice = "Nvidia GeForce GT M 740" when I start the game it resets the video at the bottom and when I look at his still trying to use the card intel.  The skyrimprefs file is more written with sD3DDevice = 'Intel (R) graphics HD 4600'.

  So the question is how to get the game to work with nVidia card?  Or how to disable the card intel?

  Went into device manage and disabled the graphics card intel and skyrim can't always find the nVidia card. It uses Microsoft basic pilot to return instead.  A difference that I noticed is the base of Microsoft driver it will default the video quality of average quality rather than low quality I get with the 4600 built in processor video card.

  PROBLEM SOLVED

  I was running enb and needed to use the version of the injector instead of the version of wrapper.  the file d3d9.dll in the wrapper version forced things to use the graphics card intel.

  I have a mac and lightroom 3.6. I have never had bad to import photos before.  Today, whenever I try to import photos from a memory card or my computer, the icon "on hold" is displayed and the program crashes.  Only way out is to force the resignations of lightroom.  How can I fix this and why this is happening?

  Only, I solved the problem... My mac has updated the day before to a version that is not compatible with my old version of lightroom.  Only way to solve this situation is to buy the upgrade.

  Not the graphics card itself on your motherboard even. The processor is theoretically removable and upgradeable, but when most people get a good overview of costs and difficulties, very little actually getting. The best upgrade is to replace the mechanical drive with an SSD. Night and day with respect to the overall functioning of the computer speed. The next best is the max memory if it is not already. Or at least 8 GB.

  Your card it seems you have an i7-3630QM @ 2.4 ghz and could go to 3840QM-i7 2.8 GHz. You have 16 gigabytes of RAM already if no room here, but you do not have a mechanical hard drive slow 5400 RPM which is your bottleneck.

  There is another motherboard with GeForce 650 M 2 GB graphics card but it would be a small performance improvement on your graphics card for a very important cost.

• How can I force a virtual computer to use a specific physical network adapter in a system with 2 network cards?

  I have a host with 2 network cards system.   I have a NETWORK card for the host computer to connect to my domain.  I have a virtual machine that is a deployment server Windows running Windows 2008 server.   The second NIC is to come and turn off the host machine and will then go to a CIsco 3550.   I need the server VM to use deployment only the second NETWORK card and does not communicate the 1st network card that the host uses.

  Can someone please help?  I'm new to VMware.   The original virtual machine on an esx server and was then converted to VMware server 2.
