  Cannot provide advice detailed without first knowing what you CAN do...

  My guess is that the other person set up parental controls that locks your grandson and also prevent access to the network.  To that end, you need to be able to connect to the computer and view the default Administrator account.

  Once there, you can delete the other account and delete all the parental controls on the account of your grandson.

  But to do this, you must be able to connect.

  IF you can't do that, because we are not allowed to tell people how to bypass the login restrictions, your only recourse will be able to take the laptop to a repair shop - and confirm that THEY can log on and reset the accounts for you.

  Any reputable place will know HOW to reset passwords on all accounts, and once they did this, connect the PC to reset accounts.

  We just replaced the video cable to my laptop HP Pavilion g7.  Now I have no sound.  The speakers are not dumb, and they show that the Green volume is moving.  Could replace the video cable affect sound?

  I bought HP Pavilion 15-p051sq and I'm satisfied with it, but its not.

  The sound is horrible, perhaps because of Beats Audio, or maybe I don't know.

  I tried to find "in the speakers Properties window, go to improvementsand verify the"Loudness equalization"option.", I can't find this option more. I reinstalled the OS entirely using the HP utility to perform a full reset factory but no change.
  Thus, the sound becomes strangled when I play a song, a dance song. The volume seems to be limited or strangled.

  I understand that your sound is not the best and that you did a factory restore, but still the sound is upward. I'm happy to help you with this.

  I just got myself a new laptop installed windows 8 pro on it, the drivers provided on your site and after a short period of time, I noticed a strange sound, playing a normal song and i just hear like a GPP (sound when making a speakers sound disconnected FRO mthe cord while executing this short brrrrp)

  Hi, first of all thx for the reply, I really thought that nobody gives a * beep * about my problems and that I'm probably have a harware issue.

  The thing is that I managed to solve problems , what I did is updated all the drivers to the latest version and those where the driver audio idt, synaptics, realtek nic (network) ralink (wifi, bluetooth) and the chart.

  I also made a few changes in the intels storage quick tehnology (very important must be sure to get the last of them, I suspect this sucker to be undesirable autotune) anyway u must open ntel fast storage and go in andvance and ther u must DISABLE link power management

  The next thing u must do is go to the audio driver infamous th gui (graphical user interface) and some change is there for.

  C:\Program Files\IDT\WDM
  
  And open idtngui.exe
  

  Now, go to advance setting and make sure that the first box is enabled (which means that the function is actually disabled).

  This thing has to turn off the speakers automatically when you listen to anything without it, you won't feel any difference.

  After further research in your question, I can explain how you can get your computer upgraded to Windows 8.

  I understand that you want to upgrade your card wireless in your HP Pavilion Sleekbook-b045el 15. In Sleekbook of 15 HP Pavilion, HP Pavilion 15 Ultrabook and HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Sleekbook Maintenance and Service Guide on page 25, it lists your module WLAN as adapter WiFi Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11 b/g/n 1 × 1 which means is that a single antenna, so your Sleekbook supports not WiFi 2 x 2 cards as they need 2 antennas. One that you are looking at would not work in the Sleekbook because it is 2 x 2.

  Here is a page sheet of Atheros AR9485 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter (1 x 1) - network adapter you would need to find a compatible card. You must take into account the size of the map as well.

• Crossfire with the a-10 cpu on a desktop p7-1451

  I've updated the power supply to a real power of 450 watts.

  Added a 6670 2 gig memory card video amd, but still do not see possibility of crossfire graphics on the cpu and video card additional. Any ideas?

  Supports PCI Express x 16 graphics cards
  Integrated graphics card or PCI Express x 16 slot are usable at once; they can not be used simultaneously

  Based on the text above the plug, it would seem that the integrated AMD Radeon HD graphic card is disabled when a discrete PCIe x 16 graphics card is installed. In addition, specifications do not suppport for AMD 'Dual Graphics' or 'Crossfire. ' So, it is possible that HP has activated this feature in this range of computers.

  There are people who claim they have had 'Dual Graphics' works on their desktop HP, but I highly doubt that it really works. 'Dual Graphics' requires a matching of the APU on board and support specific graphics cards in the BIOS for this feature to work.

But HP has sacrificed a lot of important keys of the keyboard just to reduce its size, can not imazine to throw an eye on "keyboard" what shortlist that it his choice of PC. My error has me back. • Double screen does not not on 2005pr Port Replicator

  Hi all

  I have a Usb 2.0 Port Replicator 2005pr and I used it with my HP Pavilion 14B Ultrabook (Windows 8) because there is no dock for it. Everything worked ok but I had to return my laptop HP to fix and when he comes back I have to reinstall everything.

  The dock did what it did before that works for the spart form the VGA port so I can't get both screens to work. I solved this last time after messing around a bit, but don't remember what I did, I can't seem to sort this time and I am very bored.

  Someone else has an idea on how to get it working again.

  HP gave the solution in the end.

  In case anyone has the same problem, I had to refresh the laptop and install the drivers for Port Replicator FIRST, this seems to have sorted, something I install after must mess with it. But the installation of everything after the duplicator works is fine.
