HP pavilion g6-2240sq strange his speakers/headphones

I just got myself a new laptop installed windows 8 pro on it, the drivers provided on your site and after a short period of time, I noticed a strange sound, playing a normal song and i just hear like a GPP (sound when making a speakers sound disconnected FRO mthe cord while executing this short brrrrp)

Now, I thought it was just me, I asked some of my friends to try and they where also the sound, I tried the helmet and the storry, the sound is coming from very short and then dissaperaing, I noticed that it's more current when I use more of the laptop, im sure it is a driver problem , because without the idt pilot he was non-existent, the sound was much lover but clear

Also tryied the pane control here and the sound went all crazy

Hi, first of all thx for the reply, I really thought that nobody gives a * beep * about my problems and that I'm probably have a harware issue.

The thing is that I managed to solve problems , what I did is updated all the drivers to the latest version and those where the driver audio idt, synaptics, realtek nic (network) ralink (wifi, bluetooth) and the chart.

I also made a few changes in the intels storage quick tehnology (very important must be sure to get the last of them, I suspect this sucker to be undesirable autotune) anyway u must open ntel fast storage and go in andvance and ther u must DISABLE link power management

The next thing u must do is go to the audio driver infamous th gui (graphical user interface) and some change is there for.

C:\Program Files\IDT\WDM

And open idtngui.exe

Now, go to advance setting and make sure that the first box is enabled (which means that the function is actually disabled).

This thing has to turn off the speakers automatically when you listen to anything without it, you won't feel any difference.

If you or someone else that read this need any cost additional help not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

  • DV7T-4100 no noise at all - w / Built in speakers, headphones or using the HDMI to the TV connection

Hello and thank you in advance for any help provide you.

    DV7T-4100 w/processor i5 M460

    Product ID: WW189AV

Home Premium to Windows 7 (64-bit)

My laptop has no sound at all - built in speakers, headphones, even when not connected to my TV via the HDMI port (which is a separate conductor).

2 weeks ago, all the sounds worked. I look at the (and listen to) the videos to youtube using my headphones. I stopped a video and used my laptop until the next day. There isn't any installs or updates applied I know. The next day, I closed Youtube and play words with friends and there was no noise. I restarted the laptop and still no sound.

I have read and worked through many processes and patches found on this and other forums, but did not get his job. Also I tried to restore my laptop fails for before this issie but my restore points (corrupted).

Drivers: The two drivers are present and state that they do not work correctly - this is the current version

ATI high definition Audio Device Date 06/05/2010 Ver 7.11.0.7706

IDT High Definition Audio Codec Date 17/06/2010 Ver 6.10.6289.0

I uninstalled (checked delete the driver for this device) and reinstalled several times.

I uninstalled, shutdown, removed power and battery, which is held from the Start button / stop for 30 seconds and then the and let it reinstall the drivers (they installed automatically when starting, I was not able to run the sp50642.exe I downloaded).

I also used the HP recovery tool and reinstalled the drivers to factory default

I run Microsofts problem finder and reports everything works.

I checked there is no settings enabled or disabled. When I test the speakers 'Sound and headphones' properties, I get "could not play the test tone".

FYI - I did not update the BIOS but I checked and mine is the updated F.29 version but the date is more than 14 days, then the download version of the SP55299.

I appreciate any assistance troubleshooting, you may need to provide. Please let me know any other info I can provide. Thank you

    Hi JSHEP500,

I suggest that you perform a backup and restore to an earlier date when the sound worked. Here is a document for using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7) which explains how to go back to a previous restore point.

If this does not resolve your problem, you will need to recover Windows 7 operating system using Microsoft Windows Backup and Restore.

I hope that this helps, please let me know how it goes.

Thank you and have a great day!

  • HP pavilion 14 ultrabook b008 - his

I just got my hp pavilion 14 ultrabook b008 - his and I change the hard drive with an SSD.

Now when I start the machine it show me to press CTRL + I to change the raid configuration but I can't, all I want is to run my OS to SSD drive.

PS: it is possible to install the OS on 32 GB disk cache buildin Sambung?

Any help is welcome, please see the photo.

    Thank you

You need to physically remove the disk cache of WSSD. It serves no function with a main drive of the SSD. You have Intel Rapid Start installed on the machine technology? If so, first enter this program and slow down the disc of the WSSD, then turn off the laptop and remove the duct of the MSSD physically, then reboot and your problem should go away. And your computer will be much faster after that.

  • laptop does not speakers headphones

I have a new laptop running windows 8, all of the latest drivers are installed.

The laptop detects when the headphones are connected, however audio is not speakers headphones.
Sound will play only for the default audio device selected in sound-playback devices.
If my speakers are the device by default, then sound will only play speakers and vice versa for headphones.
Ideally I would have selected headphones as device by default and when they are not connected, sound will be read by speakers, and when connected, sound will automatically produce the headphone speakers.
I have exhausted all options and think it's a problem with the drivers of windows 8, and all I can do is wait for a update.
All I have this problem or know a solution?

    Hello world

I found the solution to this problem. I also had, and it was very awkward.

Just go to the Device Manager

Then the "audio, video, and game controllers

Now, right-click on the device high definition audio and uninstall the driver

    Restart your pc

    Fact.

    This works.

  • Pavilion DV4: Laptop plays sound through headphones but not by internal speakers

Audio was working fine on my laptop, when suddenly the laptop would not play sound with internal speakers.  If I plug in headphones sound is fine.  Execution of control panel of configuration/sounds shows 'Speakers and dual headphone - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC' enabled and set as the default device, as well as "independent double headphones" (enabled by default but not) and 'SPDIF (Digital Out via HP docking station)' disabled.  What can be wrong?

Cure the problem by uninstalling the CODEC driver, then restart Windows then reinstalled, and now things are ok again.

  • His problem through speakers & headphones

I have an audio problem, for example when I play a CD or listen to things on the internet, its intermittent is distorted and delayed. It's like a cross between the acoustic insulation and a collage of CD. Unlike a CD stick, the air will pass through the song, but not in the regular pace! This occurs regardless

This occurs when listening through the built-in speakers or with headphones.

I uninslalled the driver sound card and reinstalled but it did not help.

    Hello

It would be very useful if you post information on your BIOS version of model, OS, computer laptop, etc.

At the moment I have no idea, but have you tried to reinstall the OS? If the same thing happens with the settings there is something wrong with the sound card. Perhaps, it needs to be replaced

  • Mini 300-050np Pavilion: helmet, always considered as speakers and sound distortions. Where can we change that?

    Hello

I currently get my Pavilion Mini hooked to a set of headphones Sennheiser wireless and, while I wait for my new speakers, I use the TV speakers that I use as a PC monitor.

My problem is that on sounds defenitions, there no option to pass a pair of stereo speakers for headphones. The sound is distorted on the low frequencies and I think it has to do with her think that it deals with expernal speakers. I found once taking Realtek Control Panel, but I can't find it now. Don't do me no good when I did as she also would not allow me to tell him that the thing about the Jack conneceted 3.5 are headphones.

I also have a 'DTS Audio Control Panel' on my tool bar (the thing on the right with the clock button, etc.). I don't know what it is or where it comes from. Is this a HP or Microsoft software?

Oh, and before ask you... records are up to date on the HP Web page.

    Thank you!

OK, so to close this debate and for later use.

-Turn down the volume on the PC.

-Change the speakers via the DTS audio Panel (it of one thing to HP and seems to replace the windows volume mixer but not vice versa.

-In speaker properties, output quality seems to want to stay in the middle of quality regarding. Put in high quality you can.

  • Problem of HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC Turtle Beach headphones

Product name: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, product number: QJ920AV #ABA, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit Service Pack 1

Hello, I use headphones from Turtle Beach X 12. They are USB headphones that connect both in the port of microhone and another audio port. When I connect everything well, sounds only once through the speakers of my laptop and not the helmet when playing music in Windows Media Player, Youtube, video games, ect.

How can I get the sounds and the voices of other players and myself to pass only through the headphones?

My friend who has the same computer has its own pair of X 12 and it has the same problem.

Acutally, I found the solution! I just had to move some default devices under sound options.

So when I'm done with them, I need them back each time.

  • no help no sound from my speakers headphones netbook just :-(

    Hi kathrynpelling,

    ·         Do you mean that you hear only through the headphones?

Method 1: If so, then check if the laptop speakers are set by default.

    a. click on start and then Control Panel.

    b. double-click on sounds and Audio devices.

    c. click on the Audio tab.

    d. make sure that you select the speakers from the laptop as default device in audio playback.

    e. do the same under the voice tab click OK.

Method 2: Run automated troubleshooting and check if it helps.

Diagnose and automatically repair audio playback problems

  • B120, no sound from speakers, headphones ok.

Got a B120 with XP and SP2 re-installed.  I have no sound from the internal speakers, but the headphone jack works fine.  The speakers work (checked with Dell Diagnostics); played well from there, every time.  Side note - Ubuntu 8.04 live no longer had his No.

Sometimes I get a notification of the popup of Sigmatel (something about and audio event this - as I plug something at one of the outlets when I did not.)  I usually just select 'status quo '.

I've scoured the forums and read posts on installing drivers in the correct order.  I tried to uninstall the drivers and related software files so I could continue on their relocation in order.  But, what is happening on the re-start, is that it starts automatically install hardware "found," so I don't get to put them in the order I want. How could avoid this or how do I UN-install/reinstall drivers more effectively.

When I look in the hardware Manager, everyting seems to be good... except that I get no sound from the speakers.  Sigmatel hardware is selected, sliders are at midway up, nothing is muted, select a system of his event and he seems to play but without sound.

Any help would be appreciated.  Just half a hair to pull to the left. : smileysurprised:

  • HP laptop - 15-ac158dx: squeaky sound coming from computer speakers, headphones are not affected

Earlier this week, I received and downloaded the latest update of Windows 10. It went smoothly as planned and everything seemed fine until yesterday, I started to experience a buzzing scratching of my laptop speakers. It was intermittent at first, and then it escalated. Some music and audio as dialogue and certain songs feels this scraping sound along the coast the audio ordinary much.

To test fade the cause is physical (speakers themselves) or software related (because of update) I did the following.

I tried what has been said in this issue; http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/HP-15-audio-crackles-unless-headphones-plugged-in/td-p/5....

I created a system on the laptop restore point and backup all data and uninstalled the audio drivers from the Device Manager and reinstalled.

It didn't work and now I'm assuming it's a physical problem with the speakers themselves. If this is the case, what should I do? A check appears to show that my warranty is still applicable; should I go with him?

    @cannonfodder-14

Thanks for joining the HP Forums.
I'll be happy to help you

If I understand correctly the helmet function correctly, however, the speakers create excessive noise and in view of the fact that you have already reinstalled the drivers, tried a backup & restore, but the problem persists.

It is time you contact HP telephone support and get a repair service (free, because your computer is covered under HP warranty).

HP technical support are available by clicking on the following link:

    http://h22207.www2.HP.com/us-en/?openCLC=true

    (1) once the page opens, please select the country in which you are located. Then enter your model of HP on the right number.

    (2) then choose "Contact the Support" tab at the top and scroll to the bottom of the page "HP Support - contact" to fill out the form with your details.

    (3) Once finished, click the "Show Options" at the bottom right.

    (4) Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Get a phone number." A file number and telephone number will now fill for you.

If the information I provided was useful, give us some reinforcements by clicking on the solution and laurels, buttons that help and others see that we have the answers!
    Good luck.

  • Pavilion dm4-2015dx: the left speakers

I'm not all the sounds of the internal left speaker on my laptop.  The two parties work in the headphone jack.  I replaced the internal speakers with new ones - does not solve the problem.  Then I replaced the motherboard - still does not solve the problem. Anything else I can try?

I reinstalled the driver of the theaudio - no help.  When I tested each speaker in a stereo configuration, the two speakers worked fine.  When I played an mp3 of my music files, the problem still exists.  So I think 'it's maybe a software problem  BINGO!  I worked with Media player, so I switched to Groove and everything works as it is supposed to.  Media Player does not work well.  I wonder if anyone else has this problem and if there is a fix for the Media Player.

Thanks fo your help in the elimination of many things possible.

  • Speakers/headphones, product name: 610-1030y

When the earphones are plugged in, should put mute the internal speakers.  This is not the case on my system.  I couldn't find anything in the manual.  Is there a way to fix this?  Thank you.

I had this problem earlier, so I solved it in the short term by plugging headphones into the speaker on the back of the computer. The music now plays only through the headphones. The Speaker Jack looks like your headphone output, but may have a small icon that looks a bit like this:

    (((.)))

It seems to me to remember another Member of the forum the problem by removing and reinstalling the driver of sound, as old_geekster suggests above, but it looks like you already and it did not work.
