HP PAVILION 15 laptop PC: failed upgrade of Windows 10

I have upgraded to windows 10 today. Everything is going well until I reached the microsft login screen. Connection has been accepted, but I was mounted directly in a naked desktop computer and the screen flashes and goes off every second or two. I tried to reboot, reset, System Restore, refresh, auto repair, system image recovery, but all have failed. I can't go into safe mode for some reason, (perhaps there is another way). I also tried running command line commands to start in safe mode but nothing has worked.

There are hundreds of people reporting a similar problem but I have not found a solution yet that works.

If there is a solution that works for my HP laptop, I'd be very happy to have him.

Otherwise how to return to windows 8.1 Please?

Thank you very much.

Thanks, but none of it worked. It seems, in fact, own error Microsoft reporting services, which is at the origin of the problem. I have the drivers have not adjusted on my machine but have solved the problem by applying the following fix:

Sign in and go to the Office of flashing, which may or may not be not be filled with icons. Open (Ctrl Alt Del) Task Manager, and then open the "file" then "new task run" and type "msconfig" - maybe having trouble flashing the screen can inhibit the type, but it will eventually work. Press ENTER. A new screen appears, which can be just behind the Task Manager, so check to see if it's there, scroll through tasks and uncheck the box "problem reports and solution support control panel" and 'Windows error report service', click on 'apply' click 'ok' and then restart. It fixed for me in any case.

Specified module could not be found.

I looked online for this error message. I see many say a word about malaware. I don't know what it is. As much I know it started right after the upgrade to 8.1 today.

Any help or suggestion? Much appreciated!

    Hey @vmamw23,.

Try watching this blog we give you a step by step solution. This link comes from a third party site. Please read everything before you start.

You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.

When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

It shows me it seems to be interference with the task of software, usually your virus protection.

You may need to disable this software, and then run Windows Update.

I hope this fixes things for you.

    Thank you.

    Hello

When I tried to download windows 10 via the 10-notification windows on the taskbar, it said that my laptop could not download windows 10 because my processor is not compatible. I am running windows 8.1, and normally all laptop running windows 8.1 should not have problems with the cpu upgrade to windows 10, so I don't know what could be the problem.

Your portable computer is compatible with Windows 10.

You have no need for the icon get Windows 10 to install Windows 10.

You can download an ISO or proceed directly from the Microsoft web page at the following address. https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

  • Desktop a6530f Pavilion, new hard drive and upgrade to Windows 7

I have a desktop Pavilion a6530f with Vista.  My hard drive has been the production of errors, so I bought a new hard drive.  The original hard drive works pretty well as I should be able to create a recovery with a usb flash drive media.  I want to install the new hard drive (Seagate 1 TB SATA 3), and then install Windows 7 upgrade on the new drive.  Will be the ASUS M2N68 - LA / Narra3-GLBE motherboard supports SATA 3 (SATA 2 pilot courses)?  If Yes, where can I get the drivers?  Is there a Web page on the HP site for upgrade to Windows 7 on a new hard drive?  Or I just follow the guests after boot of the Windows 7 upgrade disc and enter the code of Vista product from the label on the side of the PC?

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion a6530f. Based on the specifications, this model shipped from the factory with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit installed. This model supports the use of disks SATA 3, however transfer speeds will be limited to the rates for the motherboard SATA 2. No special drivers are required. Seagate 1 TB SATA 3 drive should work fine on this computer, but you may have problems using your HP recovery discs if the new drive is a Format "Advance" AF drive.

It is unlikely that you will be able to create a recovery media on a USB FlashDrive with this computer. In my view, that this model only supports the creation of recovery DVDs.

You have a choice of a couple of paths when it comes to the installation of Windows on your computer with a new hard drive installed.

    (1) use your HP Vista recovery disks to install Vista... This may or may not work depending on the new hard drive installed. Then, upgrade to Windows 7 using the upgrade disc and the Windows 7 product key printed on the certificate of authenticity provided with the Windows 7 upgrade disk. (Note: the key of Vista with Windows 7 will not work)

    (2) If you don't mind losing the "value-added" software HP originally installed on the computer, you can install Windows 7 without using Vista installed first. Install Windows 7 using the upgrade disc and the Windows 7 product key printed on the certificate of authenticity provided with the Windows 7 upgrade disk. (Do not enter the key during the installation of the window) (Note: the key of Vista with Windows 7 will not work)

In both cases just follow the prompts as needed. I suggest to use Windows 7 SP1, because it seems to be more compatible with the new material, including readers of the AF.

Please see HP - upgrade to Windows 7 customer care using basic upgrade or install Windows 7. Please see HP Forum - how to install Windows 7 without the disc for useful information and download for Windows 7.

After the upgrade to WIndows 10 the other day, I copied some 30 GB of videos and photos from my phone to a USB connected HDD.

    using Windows Explorer:

    -J' created a new folder

-Use of function F2 key, I renamed the folder "New folder" to the 2015-16'

-all good then I copied (low-pressure) the files in this folder

Once done, I decided to rename the folder in different name

-J' pressed the function F2 key to rename it, but press ESC' to abandon it

-the file has been renamed to "new folder".

-J' then pressed F2 to rename it and the file disappeared!

-J' checked the trash, not there

There you go. How can I retrieve these prics

It is, but I cut/move the files in the DCIM folder on my USB key.

I found the culprit.  The 'function' key lock keyboard sound, he was in no hurry.  This Microsoft keyboard allowed this option to disabled and completely forgot it.

I've tried and tested again and this is the reason.

Hello... I have recently upgraded to windows 10 against windows 8.1 original factory installed. Now, after factory reset/restore my OS answer 8.1 original windows or windows 10 will retain as well as all the drivers? My recovery partition has also been updated with windows 10 or is there any means to do so? If I need to reinstall windows 10 can I go with windows ISO 10 or I'll have to do it from windows update? Can I make recovery fee/dvd player for windows 10 with windows/HP recovery manager after this upgarde?

    Hello

    1. depending on how you restore your machine, but using factory reset your machine will be back to 8.1 for Windows

    2. no recovery partition will not be upgraded to Windows 10. You create the recovery/backup media BEFORE the upgrade to Windows 10 otherwise it can become useless.

    3. Please read:

    4. No, HP Recovery Manager does not work like that. You can use the Windows 10 tools after upgrade

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Possibility to upgrade the video card or processor?

    Hello

I wonder if I can improve my laptop so I can run some games (better). I'm sorry if this has been asked before for this model. Here is my card:

    Productnaam:HP PC portable Pavilion 15
    Productnummer:J8D20EA #ABH
    Totaal geheugen:6.00 GB
APU A8-6410 Processornaam:AMD with AMD Radeon R5 graphics card

    Thank you very much.

The model number is 15-p053nd. There is unfortunately no way to upgrade. On this model the processor and the video are soldered on the motherboard so that the only way to update something would be to replace the motherboard. A motherboard replacement with a processor and upper specification video card will cost as much as the computer laptop everything worth it and would still need to be installed. Also, you already have a system that is so he has very much put at level square, near the top anyway.
