HP Pavilion 15-n207ea TouchSma: cmd popping up randomly.

First of all, I want to say hello and thank you for taking time out of your day to look at my problem.

My characteristics of computer-

Running Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

4 GB OF RAM

Processor - Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU N3520 2.16 GHz

Operating system to 64-bit x 64 based processor

Windows touch full Tech support with 10 Points (what is?)

I've recently noticed my black control box popping up before disappearing. It was empty, but he kept doing it to gusts random when I was using my computer. At first I thought nothing, then the penny dropped and I had suspicions that it might be malware/adware. Then after several web pages later, I took a few online guides to solve this problem. several suggestions for myself was all software ive recently installed etc I installed only one Beats of Dr. updater for my helmet and also to open the Task Manager and trying to see what works when it pops up. Just as I gave all hope, the prompt popped up, BUT he had text this time. It was way to fast for me to read all this but alls I git has been "Nodes Detection" or 'Deletion of nodes' it was really too fast to see. The strange, one or two popped into the cmd, then all the black box was littered in it then it closes auto?

allocate Web sites loaded malwarebytes, so installed the software and it found 8 threats. PIN 7 and 1 Trojan horse. they got 40 and I uninstalled a few unwanted programs. After a reboot, it arose not as of yet, is there anyway I can double check it or use any other software recommended that help in this case? I feel like I answered my own question here, but its better to be safe than sorry right?

Hi @Dayne-Smith ,.

Thank you for your query.

I see that you ran Malwarebytes to remove the threats facing your laptop and would like to double check for any additional questions.

Here is a link to a Microsoft malicious software removal tool , you can also try.

Good luck!

Right on my problem. I bought this laptop a little shy of 12 months now. Not had a single problem with it, went well unrolled, never overheated. No failure etc. About 2 days ago I woke up my laptop computer out of sleep mode (and I would add that I have it sleep approximately 80% of the time I use it) and it seemed to me that the start ID imagine but it makes terrible noise whining about 6 seconds while the display is charge up then goes. After that I connect to windows it makes noise again for another 15 seconds.  I reduced to the hard drive, ive put my ear to the computer and he moved away reduce what it might be like the noise becomes lower or higher according to the meaning I listen in. The noise starts with a click then a plaintive sound. The question is, my hard drive is failing and if so, how to avoid this or create a backlog p in my files before the hard drive of my beloved dies on me. I have this less than 3-year warranty of the company, that I bought. Im trying to weigh my options and really see if its on the way to the outside or not.

I scanned to find errors etc in windows and all seem to be fine but the noise is terribly alarming. What is my next step?

As chkdsk not detect anything, you can continue to use the reader at this point, but be very careful with it and have a backup of the important files stored there.

You can see if the manufacturer of the drive, it of own diagnostic tool and test with it as well. If your HARD drive is a WD, you can download and run a test with Data Lifeguard Diagnostics:

    http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?ID=hTK1c3

Just back up your data first if you go with a trial extended because if the software detects something wrong with the disc it will try to fix it automatically.

I checked all the settings I know and it corresponded exactly to the configuration I have on another computer set up with the same POP mail/thunderbird configuration, which continues to work perfectly.

Both computers have POP accounts? With POP by default is to remove the messages from the server. So the other computer can simply be faster from time to time and pick up the message first.

Steps in trying to solve this problem:

    1. The option "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is also disabled.
    2. I have the power options set to High Performance.
    3. I installed inSSIDer and I'm the only broadcast network on the 5 GHz bandwitdth (so there is absolutely no interference whatsoever)
    4. I spent between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and the same thing happens. See below

    Question:

My laptop to find < 50 meters from my wireless router (no walls between the two) and I connected on 5 GHz bandwidth. I get random disconnects all along the day make a red X on the network icon in my taskbar. The only way to correct 'temporary', it's completely restart my computer.

On the other hand, my mother's laptop is in the other room, also connected to the 5 GHz range, ran into problems of ZERO at all.

    What could be the problem?

If anyone else knows this problem, are the only two (solutions)

    • "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option checked

OR (if this does not work)

    • 802.11n mode Disable

802.11n mode for Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN for operating system Windows 7 and 8 is buggy. Which causes intermittent wireless disconnection.

For the last 2 weeks I get a file opening called installer_msi_win.msi popping up at random, now here is the best, it opens and asks me what program I want to open it with, I usually click on cancel, but it is, I've used several programs thinking it was a virus until I searched for Microsofts database and found that it is not , but I have not installed or uninstalled anything in 2 weeks when it appeared suddenly, it's boring because it appears while I do things and it slows down my pc, how can I prevent that from happening.

My pc is running xp 32 b, I just installed the new thought available updates which could set, but he did not.
    Concerning

I found what was causing the problem, it was a program that I downloaded from CNET that detects programs on my PC and lets me know if there are updates for them. I disabled and uninstalled the program and now I only get the file installer_msi_win.msi popping up. Follow this link, it helped me when I was able to track down the installed program...

  • Pavilion dv7 programs closing and opening at random, computer stops randomly

I have a Pavilion dv7-6154ea running on Windows 7. I've had it for a year and a half now and I just encountered this problem (it started a few days ago).

The problem is that some programs or files are opening and closing by themselves, randomly without doing me anything. Sometimes even whole computer stops himself. And it's not as if it crashes, it just closes programs in the usual way or stops normally (without any problem).

I scanned the entire computer for viruses and it is clean. If the problem seems not be caused by a virus.

One thing that I was doing at the same time when this problem occurred is switchable graphics mode in the BIOS change, dynamics on fixed, by following the steps in this link to The switchable Graphics Mode

I have a built-in Intel GPU (that to speed up performance) and an AMD Radeon HD 6490 M GPU (that of better graphics) and I wanted to run the PC on the AMD because I think that the dynamic mode has not changed the GPU when I needded, for example for video games.

However, after a day of opening/closing by themselves programs, I decided to return to dynamic mode, and nothing has changed, so maybe it's also not the cause of the problem.

In any case, it seems too convenient that the problem happened right after I introduced the Switchable graphics in the BIOS mode, if I don't think it's a coincidence.

Can someone help me? It becomes very awkward to have a program that I use at the moment of the computer closa.

    Thank you

    sthri,

It doesn't sound like it's a virus, but it could also be the keyboard.

    Go to start

    Type ease.

    Press enter

Go to the bottom and click, facilitate the use of the keyboard.

Check all the boxes and click OK.

The keyboard will not work, but move and open programs as you normally use the computer and see if you get any errors.

It is a shot in the water.

By clicking on the White Star congratulations on the left is a way of saying thanks!

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5304y strange behavior and stops randomly

To start, here is my card:

    HP Pavilion Slimline s5304y

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1 Build 7601

    AMD Athlon II X processor 2 215

4 GB of RAM, blah blah blah

    Here are the symptoms:

-Win7 starts to act strangely, when the keys are depressed they'll keep recording (like that, but forever)

-Then it will attempt to force the closure but I keep open Word 2007, which will block the closure and I gives me the option to cancel or to force stop word.

-J' I usually Cancel to see what it does, sometimes it continues to operate normally, sometimes, attempts to stop become more frequent until it ask no more, and Word cannot veto the shutdown request.

-When I look at the Event Viewer system, he says he is told what USER (me) has launched the stop, as if it were normal.

-A little more digging in the event viewer application section says that before stopping, "HP Support Assistant Service" had a "PowerEvent handled successfully by the service" with EventRecordID of 10883.

    -Meet system Event ID 109

    Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power

    EventRecordID 45150

    -Meet

"The process C:\Windows\System32\winlogon.exe (USER) has launched the power off computer USER for the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM account for the following reason: no title for this reason could be found.

    Reason code: 0x500ff

    Type of closure: power off

    EventID: 1074

    [Qualification] 32768

There is no indication that something went WRONG minidump, no discharges of any sort, sfc/scannow ran own just like chkdsk, memtest, tester of windows 7 and all other diagnostic tools.

He did it before, but very rarely, so I thought nothing of it (which happened in the spans of the months apart) but now happened several times a day.

    Recent software additions:

Installing the software and drivers Lexmark Prospect Pro205

-Updated Nvidia graphics drivers Geforce 6150SE nForce 430 to 8.17.12.9573 and it's Helper service ver 295,73

What I did to try to rectify the situation:

-Scanned with each virus/malware free scan in existence - deleted an infected file from Java Java/CVE-2011-3544. O operate. And another unrelated to the advertising program.

    -Updated HP Assistant and Advisor

-Updated several times with various updates for windows 7

-Clean the case thought it was overheating, but nope - clean as a whistle, normal running time

    -Good fans checked

-Extract from food - looked good, constant voltage

I haven't checked the power extension cables. I heard there is a problem with shorting out on the 24-pin extensions, but I didn't have an extension of 24 pins on the power cables.

I've heard others have had problems with HP stopping randomly with a strange behavior, so I wanted to see what you guys have to say.

Could this be problems of power with my house? The wiring is old... Or more likely is a short circuit in the cable/PSU?

How can I easily repair/test of this theory?

-All right, so the system restore has nothing but destroy some files, because I couldn't not correctly backup the drive between the random stops.

However, I found the solution to my problem, that you won't believe.

Short answer: I replaced the stock HP keyboard (model KU-0841) who seems to have been short.

    The long answer:

-When the computer kept shutting down even in safe mode after a destructive recovery, I started watching again material.

-Noticed my typing would sometimes record, sometimes just go crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy (like this).

-Then comes the keyboard no longer works. Thus, while the veto stops with WORD 2007 and using the keyboard on the screen in Win7, I thought it was a terrible virus - it wasn't.

-When I unplugged the USB keyboard it's a strange electric 'bzz' sound, like what you hear when static is unloaded. It turns out that the USB port has been be short-circuited by the keyboard.

On the keyboard and the USB plug was going well, so I don't know who is to blame again, however - if someone is having the same weird problems with events of the power of the nucleus and 1074 with 0x500ff errors-try to check your hardware.

After replacing the keyboard, everything works perfectly.

  • Windows 8 programs and start menu keep popping up randomly help!

OK so I started a program of windows 8, I hide and go to my desktop and use chrome etc. programs all minutes from this program, I hid continues to appear, I close it and it keeps popping up for 3 - 5 times and then it disappears. Anyone know what causes this?

PROBLEM SOLVED (for me)!  I had this problem for a week on my new computer.  Seemed that the 'Start' button has been continually pressed.  Do you happen to have a wireless keyboard that you have changed out for another which is always close to your computer... like I did.  Turns out I forgot to pull the battery in my wireless keyboard and also has not entered the USB for remote transmitter/receiver.  I got the keyboard on a shelf above the computer.  The button 'Start' was pressed against a book so it was always "pressed" and always communicate with the computer.  Just happened to do that, when I thought if something goes wrong with my original keyboard.  When I out took it of the shelf, the problem stopped.  I hope this helps!
