HP Pavilion 300-1100: Conversion to 10 Windows with a loss of Smart Touch functionality

I recently converted to 10 Windows on my desktop touch computer Smart.  Now I can't find the icon and when I found a generic clicking on it it says that the following path is unavialble and I should try to fix the path and try again.

Program files (x 86) HewlettPackard\TouchSmart\SmartCenter 2.0\SmartCenter.exe.     I can't find a file named SmartCenter.exe in the HP file on my C drive.    The button on the monitor for Smart Touch does not.  What should I try next?  Are there drivers I should have downloaded?  Something else?

I found a program called taker of photo Webcam which has turned on the camera.  Although the photos are dark, I managed to lighten them in another program Windows 10 Photos

  • Pavilion g7t-1100: Internal Microphone does not work do not on HP Pavilion g7t-1100 after winning 10 update

Can someone (1) confirm that this model of laptop computer has an internal microphone and (2) say how to operate?

    Story:

I've had this laptop for several years with Win 7 64 bit, recently upgraded to win 10 64-bit edition.  When you run Windows 7, I've certainly used an external microphone with the Jack, but I'm not sure I've ever used the internal mic.  Yesterday I tried to use Skype and couldn't get the microphone to work (I don't have an external mike where I am now).  Started trying to analyze and the only peripheral record listed in the recording of the sound control Panel tab is "Stereo Mix, IDT High Definition Audio CODEC" - don't know if this applies to the internal mic.  Speaking to, or by tapping on the hole of the microphone above the display caused no response at all in the level to the right of the window bars.

Began to doubt that I have an internal mike, so looked up specifications.  On http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02910495, I found "Webcam with integrated digital Microphone (VGA)", which led me to go on webcam integrated under imaging devices.  Still no final confirmation that I have a mike internal, but I found a laptop computer with mike identified next to the webcam image, this corresponds to my laptop, so I really think that the material is there.

I used Device Manager to check the updates for the device webcam (HP Webcam-101), and he says that the drivers are up to date.  I did the same thing for the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, also updated.  I think that the drivers have been updated when I upgraded to win 10 in February.

That's it - information or suggestions are welcome.

    Hi there @BruceBon,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome! I read your message on the HP Support Forums and see that you are having problems with the microphone on your HP Pavilion g7t-1100 CTO Notebook PC.

The reason why you can't find loads or User Guides/Manuals books appropriate because the model you have is a laptop CTO, this means it is customized/configured to order. Where did you get to buy your laptop?

When I went to the Service Guide and HP Pavilion G7 maintenance (generic), it shows an internal microphone located at the top of the LCD, but again, your laptop is a CTO model this is why there is no specification of final product because each of them can be customized.

You can try to look over some of the screenshots in the microphone troubleshooting document. There are a few sections of this document that you can try.

If you right click you see him show disabled devices and display devices disconnected in the recording of the Properties tab?

They have check marks next to them?

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p100dx downgrade from windows 7

Hi, Im Colt and I recently bought a HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p100dx and it came with windows 8.1 I use windows 7 at work and at present cannot install my Flash drive because of the way the drive is partioned to 8.1 will need drivers for windows 7 for this motherboard and chipset.  And need to know how to get to startup command propt before entering Windows I think.  Can someone please.  Thanks in advance!

    Hello

I just bought this laptop and downgraded it to win7.

1st thing you need to do is boot to the BIOS (f10)

In the bios, you must turn on then save (f10)

Start (f9) to the Startup menu.

Select (usb or dvd) boot device

Custom, install and remove all partitions

    Then install win7

Too far than go to drivers, it took me a lot of research to find each other.

I now have a backup of all drivers if you need.

I am currently going through the process of making all the windows updates.

I'll post a link later when I get home for drivers

Win7 works a lot on this laptop.

I just got the pc hp pavilion slimline Tuesday. She has windows 8.1. I did all the windows updates yesterday the flag that shows you can upgrade to windows 10 wasn't there. After research, we found that a file called "kb2976978" is the update, you must have windows 10. So we tried to install it and I get the message "this file is not applicable to your pc. So now I don't know how to get windows update 10. The requirements of the upgrade, I have on the pc. Any suggestions please? Thank you, (ps I reserve a copy at a month or there are 10 windows)

I tried the link but got a page cannot be found? However, I saw an article on Forbes online which has a link that will automatically install windows 10 and you don't have to wait for it to do so in the background. However, thanks for your help.

I was in the middle of an update and I think the power cord of the computer has been deleted. When it restarted, the headlights light up, the fan turns on, but the screen remains blank. I tried a hard reset. I took the memory card and reset in the slot. The flashing of LED code is 1, which indicates a problem with the CPU. The description you give sounds as if you were in the middle of an update of the BIOS.

One of the strongest warning we give to members is forever off power when in the process of updating the BIOS.

The reason is that a member who fails to Apay attention to warning learns they did a laptop cheap a lovely electronic device, plastic with the utility of the brick.  That's why's called it "bricking" your laptop.

If this is the case, you will need to have the card system maintained by HP or a specialized repair company BIOS.

Is your laptop still under warranty?

If you see an error like this then you will not be able to do anything with the laptop until the corrupted BIOS file is resolved. So the answer to your question is no.

I have reliable an old HP LaserJet 2100 which I recently bought a cable to connect to my HP Pavilion g6-1 b 6, under Windows 7 to make it work.  a base HP connection has been established, but I can't find a driver to make it function.  Any suggestions?  HP has no answer except for a Windows referral.0us PC laptop, but I can't find a driver.  I have base HP DeskJet 1000, which performs at the moment, but I prefer the strong impression of the Laser.  I'm a writer and use it only for my text.  I hate to have to buy a new printer when 2100 works on my old desktop (which I recently abandoned).

    CN, welcome to the forum.

I suggest start by checking all the connections inside and out of the case.  It could be as simple as a loose connection.

The beeps are called the BIOS beep codes.  Here's a guide to help you diagnose the problem:

There is a section at the bottom of the page that lists the Beep Codes for different brands of BIOS.

  • My Hp Pavilion laptop 2244sa g6 does not come with the product key for windows8. Is this normal?

    Hello

My Hp Pavilion laptop 2244sa g6 does not come with the product key for windows8. Is this normal? I can't see it anywhere, should I worry?

Some laptops, like my Envy 17-3002ea loan, have the certificate of authenticity Windows hidden in the compartment where the hard drive and the battery are.  First try.

Other portable latest and which may include yours, have the Windows license key encrypted in the BIOS.  There is a thread on the Microsoft communities that verifies that. The thread is worth reading.

  • How to create a window with its own window border other than the local system window border?

How to create a window with its own window border other than the local system window border?

For example, a border: a black line with a width of 1, then a transparent line with a width of 5. Inside, it's the content pane.

In JavaSE, there seems to be for the JFrame paintComponent() method to realize the effect.

I can't see what you're trying to do now: it's a little trickier. You need stage.initStyle (StageStyle.TRANSPARENT), and I think you have to imitate the transparent part of the border by the presence of a second vessel inside the root container, properly positioned.

    Something like:

    import javafx.event.ActionEvent;
