  In the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER. sfc/scannow (note there is a space between sfc and /) leave the entire process, then type exit and press ENTER.

  Then, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter unplugged, remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for a minute.

  Now plug the power adapter without the battery inserted, start Notepad, open windows control panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for batteries, click right on and the Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and select uninstall - do not uninstall anything else here.  When the uninstall is complete, shut down the PC, unplug the AC adapter, reinsert the battery and then start the PC on just the battery.  Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the PC again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start the laptop to see if it helped the issue at all.

  Download the graphics driver on the link below Installer and save it on your desktop. ftp://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp52001-52500/sp52242.exe once the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When you are done, reboot the laptop.

  After doing some research on this issue, that's what I could find. The problem is caused by the regulatory basis on the motherboard chips when they become defective. When these chips become defective, it fails to regulate the proper voltage required by the processor, causing the processor to this effect a malfunction when a card is inserted in the power socket.

  Your best bet would be to take it to a computer repair shop that can repair it for you. If you are in warranty, I would contact HP to fix it for you.

• HP Pavilion a6110n PC stops when you publish movies with Windows Movie Maker

  I use Windows Movie Maker to try to "Publish movie" for playback on a computer (creation '.   Hi, Yes this video rendering really puts a load on your cpu!  The first thing that comes to mind, and the easiest to fix, is simply clean up the inevitable dust bunnies that accumulate inside the tower.  Have you already checked for that?  If this is not the case, remove the side panel of the tower and clean all the dust, especially around the heatsink from the processor.  Compressed canned air works very well for this.  Here is your product guide that shows how to remove the side panel: a6110n be sure to unplug the power cord from your machine before you start on it!  And let us know what you found.

  In addition, I think that you may know this already because you have taken the trouble to include in your listing, but your hard drive is too full.  Vista is a resource hog, memory and available disk space.  He needs a lot of space to work.  And if it doesn't have enough room, it makes your memory and cpu have to work hard.  You ran a disk clean up lately?

  I just bought an A215-S4697 three days ago. Love the computer so far, except for one question. Every so often, my internet explore freezes when navigating to a new page or by clicking on a link. Can I open another IE window when that happens, but I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to close the trial.

  I had this problem for quite a long time. Initially, I thought that it was due to an update to Windows XP, but I couldn't find any message on newspapers when the laptop crashes.   I realized recently after several tests that the problem occurred more frequently when you move the mouse (trackpoint or touchpad) just after the start of the system (cold start or start of hibernation).   I just got an ASUS G75VW, which comes with Synaptics Touchpad V7.4. Sometimes when you use the touchpad, the cursor does not move, I completely stop or raise my finger to get again the movement of the cursor. It occurs most notably when I play games that require movements of the mouse while using W, A, S, D to move. What can I do to possibly resolve this problem?   I have a 1080 p with a bunch of files chronology, mainly of sequences (4K) in H264. When you try to drag media (sometimes with maybe other files as well, AVI, MOV, WAV) tab in the timeline, the first project freezes. I am able to record with the controls in the main panel, but the symbol of the mouse remains as it was and I can't do anything with the mouse. Only way to solve it, must leave the first with the Task Manager.

  Restart the computer or to import the project into a new project does not help.

  I went into the brackets and edited the HTML content. I saved a copy with all the code that Google needs to load in their DCM and then deleted the Google project HTML code. So far, no problem.
