  $ 36 each is kind of logic, but for most people the upgrade of the 2 x 4 GB dual channel 2 x 8 gig dual channel modules modules will be invisible. You will need to do some intensive heavy stuff like video editing before your computer requires more than 8 GB of RAM. But it is easy to make and not real expensive so why not?

  So, I added another 4 GB of RAM in my Pavilion (model 15-n019wm) and now have a total of 8 GB. One of the sticks is a Kingston 4 GB supplied with my HP... the other is a 4 GB Samsung that came out a Lenovo.
  I think they have the same characteristics completely in all areas (1.35v, 12800 1600 Mhz, etc..)
  When using CPUID-Z, I noticed my calendar freqs were a bit high (IMHO) with a reading of 11-11-11-26... But if they should not be closer to 9-9-9-24? Also, I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if I can go into my BIOS and adjust them at the time or is this kind of mobo that is locked? Thank you in advance for your time and your help in this matter!

  Unfortunately, it is not a good way to upgrade the memory. Your system will be unstable. You will not be able to set the memory timings. This isn't a passionate we can twist trimings native and secondary and motherboard bus speed on.

  If you do things, you need to replace the two modules with compatible memory modules guarantee a memory well known manufacturer guarantee the manufacturer and the seller will be compatible. Make another way, including the method you used are a shot in the water. You were lucky that Notepad starts even in Windows.

  My HP Pavilion dv6 is really slow (especially when you use the internet with more than a couple of tabs open. I did a full audit of viruses, spyware, etc. - all clean. However, when I checked the system I have only 3 GB of RAM (2.75 usable).

  As you can see, 8 GB is well over $200. Personally, because I'm cheap, I would buy a single module of 2 gig and increase the total RAM of 4 GB or, to be sure it works with maximum efficiency, buy a 4 GB kit if you have 2 identical bars. A 4 GB kit is 'only' $ 56, and it is a reasonable investment. 4 concerts will be significantly better than 3. You might also think of a reinstallation of the operating system. Computers a naturally slow down with age that the registry fills up with junk. There are a few settings, you can clean up the start menu and other things less an OS reinstall.

  First of all, I really want to try the new windows 10. I use windows 7 Professional for hp pavilion 1301tx g6 and it's grahics driver amd hd 7450 m. My question is if I upgrade my laptop for windows 10, will be this driver it is necessary for the new operating system? Let me rephrase the question, can I get the graphics driver to my laptop for windows 10? Ireally wantto besure as to its compatibility.   @SBKH: Unfortunately, there is no HP Win10 driver for your device. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.

If you want to test the upgrade, then before doing this, consider using a third-party application Imaging/restoration as Macrium Reflect to image your machine off so that you can easily restore it if something does not work.  And don't count on the Win10 GoBack function back on Win7, it is not reliable and can leave your computer in a damaged state.
  
  Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.
  
  What I recommend is the following:
  (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
  (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
  (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key
  
  NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.
