• Pavilion 550-110: help adding Blu - Ray desktop player

  I would like to replace the existing DVD drive (tray ultra slim SuperMulti DVD burner) on a Pavilion 550-110 desktop PC with a Blu - ray player.

  The existing unit is mounted vertically in the case. I replaced the DVD drive with a Blu - ray on a HP PC 500-281 player, where it has been mounted horizontally.

  If this same blu - ray player could be reused on the new 550-110?

  If this isn't the case, please suggest a particular (or brand) type of Blu - ray player-player. I used to look first on Amazon.com for this type of product.

  Now, if the BR drive you have in your 500-281 is a ultra thin (9.5 mm), I imagine that you can use in your new PC.

• HP Pavilion 550-110: new 550-110 computer cannot access the included software

  To all those who can help you:

  I just got a new 550-110, windows 10 and I go through the initial Setup on Windows 10.

  So far, I can't find or access one of the titles of software included with the computer, such as cyberlink or Bang & Olufsen Play.

  The package contained little documentation, only a start guide and warranty brochure. No other established place of discs or other items, only the keyboard, mouse, and power cord.

  How can I start accessing these programs, in particular the Bang & Olufsen Play? I chose this model for the best acoustics, not the old sound DTS who never worked at the time where to play music.

  In Win7 ol ' well, you will get a list of all programs on the start menu, but the boys at microsoft know what we want, whether we like it or not. I know where to look in Win 7, but not the slightest idea in Win10, I tried a search of the whole and even computer watched the program folder files, but found nothing other than Amazon and Trip advisor (already in the taskbar).

  Any help would be appreciated.

  You must click on start in the lower left corner of the taskbar.  You'll see tiles on the right side of the screen and a list of all applications on the left side.  You can scroll the applications until you find what you want.  In addition, to find B & O, you can click on the carrot next to HP Support Assistant (blue and white) in the task bar.  You should see B & O listed and simply click on it.  The control panel will open.  As a musician, I want the best sound I can get, so I tried all settings.

  I'm looking to upgrade some parts on my HPE 110 t, including the map graphic, but discovered the OEM 350W power would prohibit any significant upgrade in that Department. So, could someone inform me on the specifications for a power supply work on my particular PC?

  The power supply max recommended for this type of upgrade is 650W, and usually a Corsair 600CX is chosen.  The Corsair 600CX is an EXACT adjustment and all the cables you'll need.  The 650W is deeper in the case, next to the cables from the DVD player.

  Here is the data on your computer.  If you look at Page 2 of the section of extension bays it shows 2-internal - 3.5 "(un disponible)."  This is where the second hard disk can be installed.  In addition, you will need data cable and SATA power.

  The motherboard has a PCI Express x 16 slot.  However, the power supply unit (PSU) is only 180W.  It will not feed the 9500GT.

  I zoomed in a little closer and I do not see a chip as you can see in the image below. However, you must report the problem to the HP support as it may represent a fire hazard.  I ask HP to intensify and investigate your matter.

  Hi all.

  Recently, I upgraded my hard drive of 1 TB to 2 TB. I bought two hard drives of 2 TB because I planned to run RAID 1, but after that I cloned one of the 2 TB drives and removed the old 1 TB, I decided to save in a different way.   I have most of the things I wanted to back upward again on the old hard drive and another method seemed to be a better route. My uses of son for a little game and RAID 1 seemed to be struggling against productive and not as safe.

  So, I'll be able to move my new drive 2 TB in RAID 0 with my other new 2 TB drive even if I use one right now?

  Else consider this computer Noob?

  HP's instructions for configuring RAID using the AMD RAIDXpert. Read at least twice.

  Check your BIOS settings and make sure that the SATA is set to RAID.

  I suggest you connect hard drives to ports SATA 1 and 2 (blue and white). Among the old HP AMD motherboards we're picky about which ports SATA would be supported RAID.

  

  BTW - RAID 1 is much more secure that it will provide redundancy in the event of a hard drive failure and RAID 0 won't.

  I know very little about computers.

  Go to system to suport of H P today I found the Diagnostics P H U E F I was not installed and has not installed since last November.

  It downloads completely.

  I tried to install it was and it failed every time.

  Today, I noticed when I played videos on some sites, the video hang on and display the loading message.

  Sometimes they would go on to play and they will be flat if I right click and press on reload.

  I recentley installed a pair of logitech speaks now of unplugged.

  I have only on the extension (Lastpass).

  You can order recovery disks by contacting the service the customer of HP following these instructions.  There will probably be a nominal sum for them, but not much.

  1: try to add the following command in your router.

  Panel MultiLink virtual-model 1

  2: set 'crypt map rtp' command in virtual model 1 void-configuation.

  3: remove 'crypt map rtp' command of all the interface configuration and closure of the serial interface.

  4: highly recommended to remove the following command from each serial interface.

  Check IP unicast reverse path

  5: If still does not work, apply new 'crypt card rtp"command in all interfaces of Seraglio under configuration.
