  Because I'm a spread for the penalty, I went ahead and ordered the XFX HD 6870 and returned the XFX HD 6850.

  Only after you have installed the 6870 I realized this video card requires 2 PCI express power connectors. Of course, my stock PSU only has a PCI express slot so I went down to Staples and bought a power supply 700W (a RetailPlus PS700W). I installed myself (without the help of a technician that I had seen what the technician had to do when I hired one to try to replace the stock power supply with a Corsair 750W) and it worked. It was last Thursday and the machine works since then.

  The 3 HP ZR24w monitors I ordered came with a regular DisplayPort cable but I needed 2 Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. I have ordered them to my place of local parts (OEM Express) and they came today.

  I plugged praying them, and then they played.

  So to get 4 monitors running a single card, I had to put my diet to 700 watts, install a XFX HD 6870 (it's a Radeon ATI/AMD with 2 x connectors DVI, an HDMI connector and mini 2 DisplayPort connectors) and order 3 HP ZR24w monitors. 2 monitors should be connected via the adapter mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cables and the other 2 are connected via DVI.

  From what I can tell, HD 68 x series video cards can drive only 2 DVI monitors at a time and if you need at least 2 aswell able DisplayPort monitors.

  Looks like it should work perfectly... just open the side cover and check that your power supply provides a minimum of 18Amps on the 12 v rail. My HP (HP p/n 5188-2625) 300 Watt POWER supply has a power of 19A on the 12V rail.

  Hi all
  I recently bought a new computer Packard Bell with a Windows 7 OEM who have a problem with the mouse and keyboard. I've been in contact with the manufacturer, but they are also confused that I have on this issue. After looking in many discussions about the problems of the mouse in windows 7, I found that there are many who have this problem but there is no consistency in the HW configuration, i.e. it seems more a problem with the OS.
  I really like the machine and Windows 7, but I have a nagging issue with frequent 1-2 second freeze/stuttering of the mouse during the 'high' network activity (e.g. streaming a YouTube video). During my research, I met at least 4 people who who call network activity affect the behavior of the mouse.
  Sometimes the keyboard or the mouse becomes completely insensitive and the system must be restarted. However, on these occasions, the rest of the system is not affected - for example Skype and other programs to continue to operate without glitch or lag.
  To try to solve this problem, I did the following (with no effect on the problem):
  -Updated all the drivers to the latest.
  -J' tried different version of the mouse drivers (most recent running now).
  -Tried different versions of the network driver (latest running now).
  -Change keyboard and mouse to the PS2 came with the computer.
  -Set the system to 'high performance '.
  -Changed for USB mouse
  -J' tried various Bios settings 'mode of power/suspend' (proposed in solution in another thread)
  One thing that has had a strange effect on the problem was:

  -Seen the PS2 and USB mouse is touching one when the other freezes / stuttering will immediately resolve stuttering gel.
  I have studied/noted:
  -There has never been a 'error box"popping up in Windows when this happens.
  -In the event viewer I see warnings from "i8042prt" regarding (remember, thie is translated from Swedish :) 'The device sent an incorrect response, once the keyboard has been reset' (this is what I found, if you need more information please ask but provide what to look for and where)

  I returned my old piece of system got another, it worked fine at first, but then the mouse began to stutter once again.

  The system had only a few programs installed so I started to uninstall it to see if it changed anything.
  A program - Skype.

  I never suspected that my friends use Windows 7 and Skype without any problem, although they could not use quadcore and 64-bit version.

  My system is without stutters and glitches for a week, so I'm pretty sure that was the problem.
  That Skype is a very wide spread of IM, it could apply to other institutions.

  I have an i7 HP Pavilion Elite Desktop w 2 year, Windows 7 and I want to add a 3 TB hard.  Can I add a 3 TB hard (probably known as the Segate Barracuda XT 3 TB HD) as a secondary disk without changes.  If this is not the case, what should I do?

  Short answer is not really. You need UEFI BIOS to do, and your system did not come with it. You could add it, but only 2.2 to be visible as a single drive. Using utilities... etc. of the manufacturer of the HARD drive, you could partition to see the rest, but as hard disks get bigger, the BIOS must change to adapt. They changed, but still yours is the older BIOS inherited, and there is no way to change it to a UEFI version.

  My computer is having a bit of a moment, a long time, I guess I just install windows after trying about 3 or 4 times and everything is installed and was very well somehow, I had a big problem where all literally a few seconds my computer crashes and he'd jump up in the middle of my screen that windows explore has stopped working. I did not understand how it has been altered it was a brand new facility but anyway, I looked for a solution and has seen some talking about substituting a double no corrupted from another computer windows 7, I took the file from my other computer and finally managed to replace the file. I have re-run the sfc scannow and she came back, 100% fine which ceased from windows Explorer has stopped working error, but now my computer just seems to freeze again but without saying windows Explorer has stopped working then after a while to wait for me and by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete there are still no error come back for another few minutes and repeat the cycle. It's really preventing me from being able to use my computer, I ran ccleaner, avg and malwarebytes all 100% fine and clean I ran also drive spelling error found nothing memory diagnosis 100% fine I have no idea what it could be there are only two things I can think to mention 1. I have 2 windows updates I can't do they fail each time for Microsoft office 2007 update for the suites and one for the office, they just keep saying error try again and never work. 2. I have a hybrid hard drive ssd and hd sshd I don't know if my trying to load windows 7 on it 6 or 7 times has nothing to do with him or not, it's brand new and it's the second time I tried to install windows 7 on it.   With the case open and observing the CPU fan and projector, try the suggested PSU convenience store.  What is going on? If you decide to replace the power supply, I would suggest the Corsair CX600W. • Windows 7 keeps freezing during and after the connection

  So for the last two weeks, my computer (a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 laptop) has been having this problem.

  Whenever I try to start Windows, the computer freezes. Most of the time, I'll be able to connect in the first place and the desktop and the taskbar appears normal, but I won't be able to open all programs. The mouse will have a circle "loading" beside him who won't go away, will not come to the top of the start menu and the taskbar will be completely insensitive. When I move the cursor to the taskbar, the arrow usually turns into a circle of "loading". By pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete in the meantime does nothing. The only thing I can do is turn off the computer by pressing the power button.

  Sometimes I won't be able to connect at all. The desktop appears as a blank screen, either dark blue or black color. Sometimes the mouse cursor is sometimes visible and sensitive enough to be moved to the screen, sometimes that is not there or completely unresponsive. Whatever it is, there is absolutely nothing I can do when the computer is in this State.  Sometimes the Office does not at all, and I'll be stuck watching the blue 'Welcome' screen until I turn off the computer. Sometimes I can't even that, as the computer crashes as soon as I click on my user icon.

  These problems occur when I connect the guest too account. Sometimes they occur when I try to start the computer in Mode safe, but sometimes (usually after many frustrating attempts), I will be able to log in Mode safe mode normally. (Right now I'm in Mode safe mode with networking.) When I try to log on to the guest mode safe account, it always freezes before connect you or displays a message saying that there is "a mistake with the sense of service" or something like that.

  While in Safe Mode, I tried entering the system setup and turning off some startup programs. Who gets usually the computer working again for a little while, but after a few days problems reactivating. I also tried to do a restore of the system three times, but every time the restore has failed to occur due to errors (do not remember exactly what). The computer began working again after the attempt, but once more, the problems would be just begin again in a few days.

  What causes this problem, and what can I do to solve it for good?

  It could be a particularly strong virus or malware. Safe mode, I would run my antivirus software on a deep, boot level scan. If you don't have an antivirus, I use and recommend Avast Free Edition: http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html (only use the Direct download link).

  Other than your antivirus and also run it from Safe Mode, the following malware scanners:

  SuperAntiSpyware: http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html .

• Windows 7 keeps freezing up on top of me

  I am running windows 7 on a Lenovo thinkpad and it keeps freezing up on me during about two minutes at a time. Just freezes. I tried to install the programs, remove programs, updated and so on. Can you help me?
