HP Pavilion G6 1356-el; CPU and card mother temperatures
Hi, I am a happy owner of this laptop great, but I have a question: when I play videogames temperature is about 70, even 80 °, talk about the (2450 m i5) CPU and motherboard. What is normal and safe, your should I need to worry and buy a basement of fan or something? THX,
Nicolò.

I like the fact that you can move the fans and it's cheaper. I also think that if one of the fans couldn't you could just buy a replacement.
I go with this one, but keep in mind it is at an angle of permanent, so if there is a problem, this isn't for you.
Here's the Google search I did for her. Trying to find how much noise generates.

Pavilion A4316F Desktop with M2N78-(Violet6) card mother CPU Upgrade
I looked at the HP Site before making the CPU to upgrade to purchase (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01925562) my office. I bought an AMD Phenom II x 4 processor clocked at 3.4 Ghz. When I installed the CPU and try to start, I have a unknown, computer processor stop error. From what I can tell on the HP site, this processor should work with this motherboard. Any suggestions?
Please provide the role other than whole or number of the plateau of the AMD processor for our review. Only 3.4 Ghz AMD Phenom II x 4 processors I know are the 125 watts Note: AMD Phenom II x 4 965 Black Edition and the140 watts Note: AMD Phenom II x 4 965 Black Edition. None of these processors are compatible with the Violet6 motherboard in your system. The card mother Violet6 is intended to be used with processors up to 95 watts. In addition, "Black Edition" CPUs have discovered clock multipliers to be used in overclocking, but does not support the Violet6 overclocking motherboard.
Please consider these 95 watt AMD AM3 processors except CPU 'Phenom II X 6' and processors ' B #

It is a G7-2210ed. We don't need the part number. The model number means the same thing. We can perfectly meet a model number or a part number. You can get the specifications which are in this case:

Compare with manual: G7-2210ed has the top processor and superior video system. Therefore, no upgrade possible. Any question or comment?

Tecra A4-179 and card mother compatibility
Hello
I have a Tecra A4 - 179 pta40e-0vl00kit. I need to replace my motherboard, but unfortunately did not find the same part number, it's a V000053570.
My laptop is for a V000053590 or a 53550?

Pavilion dv7 - 4150sr: replacement card mother dv7 - 4150sr
Hello, I need help!
I have Pavilion dv7 - 4150 notebook sr and his mother is damaged.
Would you please provide the part number so I can replace it because there are no manuals or any other information with part number for my motherboard.
I'd appreciate a lot.
Thank you in advance.
Here are the specs:
http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=emr_na-c02505611
We need to understand from the Manual:
the motherboard you have. You have the i7-720QM with 1 discrete graphics Radeon gig (switchable actually) and you have the subwoofer, so it's your motherboard:
With ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 subsystem separate graphics card, 1 GB of dedicated memory (Quad Core) and the subwoofer v.1.1 615313-001
Not cheap on amazon.com:
I couldn't find it on eBay. You can try HP Partsurfer but usually the price there is about the same as amazon.com.
If I know that you were really interested, perhaps we can expand the search to find it at a lower price, but I expect it to be much less than maybe $175 it is a motherboard upscale a few years and get harder to find new.

Is the owner of card mother Dell 0K83V0?
Hello, earlier in 2010, I bought a Dell Inspiron 560, which had the following characteristics:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
GPU: Intel integrated graphics
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 Wolfdale Dual-Core 2.7 GHz
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
Motherboard: card mother Dell 0K83V0
So long story short, I'm trying to get a new box ATX motherboard and card mother ALONE. If the motherboard is owner, however, some users told me that he didn't do or work. I want to know is if this motherboard is the owner.
Thank you bunches! :)
fake,
After a little work, it works beautifully.

Hello
I should probably start by listing the specs of the laptop. So here it is:
Model: Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b003sm
Series: [personal information]
Product: C6T29EA #BED
Processor: Intel Core i5-3317U (1.7 GHz)
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics card: GeForce GT 630 m 2 GB memory
OS: Windows 7 x 64
So the question, well not really a problem, but recently I have noticed that my laptop has been strugling to run the latest games coming out to the point where some games even on setting him down still have very low FPS.
Then I thought to replace my CPU and graphics card because these two seem to be the issue.
Now, I got the user guide but it was provided on a CD while my laptop is not a CD ROM So, I have been unable to determine what kind of a slot processor use my laptop.
So I was wondering if anyone of you could help me determine if I can replace the processor and the graphics card on my laptop and if I can provide some suggestions to what I should look at, since I read that chaning a CPU on a laptop is sticky bussines.
Thank you in advance.
Also if there is more information needed please tell me so that I can add.
Please have look at the below information shown for the processor upgrade
http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03733729 [Go to Page 1]
Intel Core i5-3337U (1.8 GHz, turbo up to 2.7 GHz, 1600 MHz/3 MB L3 cache, dual core, 17 W)

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?
Hi KevinRy,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
Unplug all external devices.
Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.
Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:
1.
Right-click my computerand then click Properties.
2.
Click the Advanced tab.
3.
Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.
4.
Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.
5.
Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.
Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.
Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.
Kind regards

Error 0X0000007E Stop after installing the new card mother and CPU.
Original title: Stop error after installing the new card mother and CPU.
After I installed a new motherboard and CPU I got a stop error 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XB77EA756, 0XB84C742C, 0xB84C7128) and it restarted immediately. It always starts in safe mode, but I can't understand what is wrong. The old processor is a pentium 4 3 ghz, not sure what the motherboard was, new processor is AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 4200 + and I only know that the motherboard is an ASUS socket AM2. Device Manager does not recognize the CPU correctly, it shows just two entries called processor. As far as I can tell, it's almost certainly a driver issue, but I don't know how to diagnose or fix this. I am running windows XP home, I removed my video card, running 2 hard drives at 120 g (M) and 200 g (S), a DVD drive (M) and a reader of CD (S), and a stick of RAM to 1 GB.
If you have made the change without having to reinstall XP, you will be taking and Pray H@ll. the best thing to do would be to reinstall XP and make sure you have the drivers available for your motherboard available so that you can update the installed chipset. In addition, be aware that if you have an OEM of Windows version, the license is dead when you changed the mother/CPU card.
I hope this helps.

I want to improve my card mother and CPU on my PC. I like to keep all my settings from my games, etc, so I don't have to buy/purchase new and purchase/buy a new OS Win. I am running Win 7 Pro. What is the best way to address the issue? I keep my OS on a SSD and all the other stuff is on a separate HARD disk. Basically, I need to install the new chipset and other pilots MB.
You can save files and settings and restore to the new installation of Windows, but the games cannot be guaranteed. Just give a try. If it works, it's fine. If this isn't the case, you must reinstall the games.

Dear Sir.
I want to upgrade my laptop.
The current specification is:-
System manufacturer Hewlett-Packard
HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC model system
System Type x 64-based PC
Processor Intel (r) Core i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53 GHz, 2534 Mhz, 2 Lossnay, 4 logical processors
BIOS Version/Date Hewlett-Packard F.29, 11/07/2011Hardware Abstraction LayerVersion = "6.1.7600.16385".
Physical memory (RAM) installed 6,00 GB.
Card mother HP has 144, 65,38
What is the best and optimal upgrade is possible. I need more CPU power and more memory for my data mining research project.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Kind regards
Faisal
Probably, you don't realize the difficulty and costs involved with your laptop CPU upgrade. If your program is saturate an i5 2.53 GHz processor, you can do the work on a newer desktop with a Quad Core i7 CPU. The other 2 GB of RAM might help a little, but it looks like you need a boost in computing power and you have not only any significant margin on this machine. It's a first i5 of gen which cannot be upgraded to a newer version. I7 Quad Cores on this series of model use a different motherboard that two hearts. The best dual core processor is:
Processor Intel Core i5 - 580 M to 2.66 GHz, turbo up to 3.33 GHz, Dual 35 W SC
Not a big improvement over what you have

the upgrade card mother DM3-Pavilion
Hello
My 4 year Pavilion dm3, recently died on me. It's a little elegant machine, I wanted to wear around and who was always OK for occasional daily tasks. For these reasons and others, I would at least try to replace the defective motherboard and revive.
The model I bought is a dm3-1003tx exotic model (bought in Thailand, especially with a keyboard QWERTY/thai), with Intel SU7300 and discrete nVidia GeForce G 105 M graphics chip.
Given that the original motherboard is not easy to find (PN 584079-001, only a couple of bids on ebay of the Japan), can someone tell me:
-If it's OK to replace it with an another based SU7300 of motherboard (can be with or without the nvidia chip - I really don't need it).
-or even better upgrade to a motherboard of SP9300 based to get a performance gain? If so, should I expect any change (it looks that the consumption of energy and the frequency of the buses are higher with the SP9300 then maybe RAM...?)
Is there any tool available around compatible HP part numbers?
Thank you
No, there is not a matrix of cross, useful reference because it would be. I think that HP is simply too many different models and parts for someone to keep track of it all. HP Service is inspired by replacement with the same part number so their internal service people wouldn't even have much use for such a thing, just us end users.
Motherboards have the processor soldered to the and there is only a single part number for the fan/radiator Intel stated so I would say that if you replace your motherboard with it:
580663 001
with the SP9300, you'll be able to reuse your fan/radiator. In the case where you don't have it here is the repair:
All models use the DDR2-800 memory and accept up to 8 GB. Different motherboards all seem to have the same ports and such and will have the same anchor points. You could even theoretically install a card mother AMD-based, but this would require to reinstall an operating system, and I wouldn't trade an Intel processor for an AMD processor in any case unless AMD have been much cheaper. A Committee from AMD would also require a different radiator, however.
You can buy the SP9300 motherboard for $45 shipped on eBay:
The same seller also has the SU7300 for a few dollars less:
I bought a little of this seller and it looks like they have a lot of them on the spot so must have dismantled a certain dm3s. Maybe if you call them they can steer you in a way or another based on real practical experience. I confess that I have the opportunity to work on this exact model.

Hello very good day my question is if my pc is compatible with this card EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC
I want to ensure before making the purchase
PC
Intel Core i3-3240 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Foxconn
Model 2ADAIvy Bridge chipset
PCI Express x 16 Slot
8.00 GB of RAM DDR3 @ 798 MHz
Integrated Intel HD graphics
10 64-bit Windows Home
Marc, welcome to the forum.
Yes, I think that your motherboard should be compatible with the video card. The card requires UEFI in the motherboard and your mother should have. Just be aware that the specifications concerning the State of the map that it requires only a power supply (PSU) with 300W power. Many members have reported that it is rather 400W. You can try with the current POWER supply, but if this does not work I suggest one made by Corsair. I recommend at least 500W.

Window Media Player.exe using 100% of CPU and memory
I have a Pavilion dv4-2145-dx Windows 7 Ultimate SP1, 4 GB of memory. Windows Media Player.exe supports my CPU 100% usage and it is striking all my memory - 4 GB. It started right after I set up a homegroup.
I had to go into Admin/service and change the Startup Type to disabled for:
- Windows Media Center Receiver Service
- The window media services planning service
- Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service
I tried setting services to manual, but Windows Media Player has yet caught all the CPU and memory, he could then I disabled all the.
I do not know how to disable homegroup and Windows Media Player services work together so I wonder if everything is always operate has designed with the homegroup and sharing my music.
Hello
I think this explains the problem. The 2 entries here should be deleted, because the first will try to index all of your user profile and the second will attempt to index all of the Windows Partition.
C:\Users\Rick
C:\
To remove them, click to the left of the entrance, highlight it, and then click Remove. When these two entries have been removed, reboot the laptop and you should find that the problem has been resolved.
