The drivers that you find on the link I have provided are the only ones that are supported.  They are designed for hardware that was built for your system HP and the listed operating systems.  All drivers from other sources are not supported and can cause problems that are not supported.

Worst case you could damage your hardware or end up having perform a full recovery of the system to correct what happened.

I know that this has been talked about a lot, but none of the solutions seem to help so far. I have Premiere Pro CS6, and I am running Windows 8.1 64bits. Hi William,.

You can try the drivers from the web site of Toshiba UK:

    http://UK.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK

You can also get updates of BIOS, but make sure they are compatible with your model.

    Kind regards

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-210f: update video card

A PNY gtx 950 should physically be in a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-210f? I already know that I have to upgrade the power supply, but before shelling out more money, I figured I would see if anyone knew if the card fits?

    KKingotu, welcome to the forum.

The problem you will have with the GTX 950 is, it requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released on February 5, 2010.  There is no way to update the UEFI BIOS.  You can contact Technical Support PNY to see if they have a VBIOS update for the video card that will work with your motherboard.

Meanwhile in the space provided, you can measure e/s rear plate on the front of the computer case to see if any of the components.  In addition, it is a wide double card (two locations).

  • Pavilion HPE nh8-1220: update video card

The card mother M3970AM-HP will install in this support machine PCI-Express 2.0 x 16 graphics bus type cards?

BIOS of FRIEND ang-713 12/29/2011 and seems to be the most recent available.

I removed the expansion card NIVDIA GeForce Gt530 that comes with the machine and replaced it with a PNY GeForce Gt730 VCGGT7302D3LXPB card and it hangs just to the top of the computer.

The GeForce GT530 that comes with the machine said on the card what is the PCI Express 2.0 bus support.

The plug from motherboard says it welcomes PCI Express x 16 graphics cards.

    Dave

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

I talked to Technical Support for all major video card manufacturers.  All of them said that their cards later would UEFI.  The best thing to do is to contact Technical Support for your card to see what they have to say.

  • Pavilion Elite HPE-180 t: Pavilion HPE-180 t update video card

    Hi all -

I'm hoping to get an official word on the question of whether my machine (mentioned in the topic) is able to handle a graphics card, I just picked up.  The port seems compatible and there seems to be room, but I'd be more comfortable upgrading if somebody here has estimated that the hardware is compatible.

The map I picked up is a Radeon R7 - 260 x - CDF.  If you do not feel that would work, is it a good (affordable) map out there that I could pick up that will be?  Thank you!

    Hello

Check with the manufacturer of graphics cards specific and find out if the video BIOS on the card will work with a PC that uses a legacy BIOS.

Find out what the return policy is before you buy.

Thanks for posting on the forum.

  • Compaq CQ58 - 299EV model of updated video card and driver for win7 64 bit and ram upgrade

    Hello

Since I was my compaq laptop (about a year), it was windows 7 64 bit operating system inside, even if the manual was for windows 8. So, when I looked up initially for up-to-date drivers I couldn't find support for win8, but I chose not to because I saw tons of compatibility issues with this model of laptop. Well I don't want to update soon, so I would like to know what are the latest drivers I can find for my model for win7 64-bit.

So, what model of video card has it built in (it just says: "Intel(r) HD Graphics"), so I can find the right drivers for it?
Also can I put my ram? There are now 2 GB.

    Thanks in advance.

Since it is a Celeron processor it comes:

Intel HD Graphics (on models with Intel Pentium or Celeron processor; supports DirectX 10)

They don't give him a number. The processor is based on the Sandy Bridge architecture, so any driver for the video card HD 3000 series will work.

Latest version of the Intel driver

This can take up to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM, like this:

  • pop ups continue to add to update video player and they keep opening keep tabs. How can I stop it?

New tabs keep open asking me to update my video player

If the new tabs are relentless, you may need to restart Firefox Safe mode to get little peace. It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still works

After stops in Firefox, a small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).

    Any difference?

A few questions about upgrades: first of all, can I upgrade the video card in my HP Pavilion P6000 series p6616f?  Current card is ATI Radeon HD 4200. If so, can you suggest the best replacement that can handle games?  Yes, you can install a discrete PCI Express x 16 video card.  I love EVGA, Sapphire, XFX and PNY in that order.  It should be not newer than the HD 6000 series.  Latest maps (HD 7000 series) require a UEFI BIOS on the motherboard works properly.  It is difficult to know which card to recommend.  You will need to check the system requirements for the games you play to find out what is recommended.

I have to upgrade the power supply too? I also think it came with 6 GB ddr3 ram. Can I put that as well... and what is the maximum it will take?  Recent mid-level video cards require a minimum of 400W to work properly.  I normally recommend at least 500W.  I love Corsair products that will give you more choices for video cards.  I believe that the existing PSU is ATX standard.  You can measure the existing PSU and compare the measurements to the one you choose.

Here are the Specifications of the product for the computer.
