HP Pavilion Notebook PC Internet questions G6

Hi im having problems with internet on my laptop HP Pavilion G6, internet keeps dropping out and showing the

yellow warning triangle. Internet still works fine on my I-Phone and a game console, so I think it's the laptop not the hub. After awhile the internet would suddenly return, but its quite annoying because it falls around all 5 minutes or more.

Additional information:

64-bit operating system

Windows 7

Thank you.

Hello:

Please see if installing this driver help.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook Hard drive question and OS reinstall

I have a HP Pavilion dv4-2155dx Entertainment Notebook PC, series: CND0053PFN.

I recently received an error message of the INTELLIGENT notification that a failure of the hard drive was imminent (I also had a flat battery as well, thank YOU HP!). I backed up my files to an external hard drive to COMPUSA, bought a new hard drive and installed. I inserted one of my computer come with recovery disks (HP or Best Buy made so I can't make new ones if I wanted to). After a minute or two of hearing the reader has read that I received an error "No Bootable disc - insert boot disk and press any key." Tried several times more. Reorganize the BIOS settings to make the drive to read first, no help.

I then came here, looked at a few other discussions. They were no help. (this is a as http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-e-g/no-bootable-Device-Insert-Boot-Disk-and-... I watched)

I tried most of the things on this page, including download of the boot disk utility, but even after the creation of this disc, I still get the "No Bootable disc - insert the startup disk, and then press any key" error. I then put the old hard drive new, and played music CDs to ensure that my drive was reading. It did not work properly. He also burned a disc as well so I think it's OK.

I tried to make an iso image to the new disk plugged hard upward with a USB connection and this is where I met another problem. My laptop said that there are only 98 GB available on the new drive connected by USB. It is a 250 GB drive.

What can I do to get just my copy of Windows on the new drive, so I can use my laptop without fear of a hard drive failure in the middle of a test for the College or something like that?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

I can't help with the problem of recovery disk, but if you can read the product key 25 character Microsoft Windows on the bottom of your PC, you can do your own installation of W7 (DVD or a flashdrive bootable) media.

    Here's how:

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15p204tx: Realtek RTL8723BE does not

    Hello

I was faced with a problem with my Realtek RTL8723BE wireless card for more than a month. After using it for awhile, I am unable to connect to the internet. The connection status indicates "No Internet Access". After you run the troubleshooter, it says "one or more network protocols are missing on this computer." This problem won't recover unless I have to reboot the device.

To solve this problem, I've updated the software device driver to version 2023.23.1030.2015 and even after the update, the problem seems to persist. The only way that I am able to connect to the internet using the Ethernet cable.

I tried several methods over the internet to recify the question and nothing seems to work. I tried to run the

    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

After fixing the registry as shown in the video https://youtu.be/G3DpeeXLSDM , but it did not work. I also followed all the instructions in the video https://youtu.be/HJyBaP3AC74 and the problem persists.

Now when I run the troubleshooting software, he says that he was unable to identify the problem. Now, I'm completely unable to use WiFi on my laptop. I would be grateful if you guys could help out me!

    Thanks in advance!

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p119: HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p119 do not close completely

    Hello.

I checked the forum for this question, but the questions that other users have slightly vary from my problem.

My laptop: HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p119

I recently installed an official Windows 10 OS on the laptop (64 bit). It was fully installed from scratch.

Everything seems to work fine except for a very annoying problem: whenever I say the laptop shut down it proceeds to stop never totally as normal until the screen is blank (as is normal), the light on the power button turns on and the machine stops. It remains in this state until the battery sinks and dies. The only way to shut down the computer at this stage is to press the power button until it is difficult to stop. When you start the computer again, all right, and there is no bad effects of the hard stop down.

When he is in the State where the screen went blank and the indicator light remains on, it is not not clear if Windows is running or if Windows has closed, but the computer itself is still ongoing.

What should I do? Please answer experts out there. Thanks in advance.

Don't use Nvidia go update and download the latest GPU and update Nvidia software update. In this way that you will eliminate any problems during the live update. I have always to download my drivers and then do an installation off line to avoid error a bit direct update that may or may not be detected by the software.
