HP PC laptop power cord safety program removal and replacement

I buy laptop HP P r022tx last month. I saw that HP Notebook PC AC Power cord safety recall and the program of replacement on the HP site. According to the guidelines that I check my adapter, it is of type LS-15. But so far I can't find such a problem of large heating in it. Should I ask replacement if she will give such a problem in the future...

Shut down the PC again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start the laptop to see if it helped the issue at all.

    Steven,

    The page could be cached in other places, such as cache network or your internet provider.  These are rare cases, but they happen, and you have no control over it.  Best to have friends / colleagues check from another place, this page has been replaced by fact.  If you have several locations showing the same old page, which means the page was either not removed properly, or home page of the site is perhaps used a different directory than where you are currently working.  It is common for people to create several directories test when booting with web creation programs and forget the one that serves content for the online site.

  • cartridge in the slot on the left is not intended to be used with this printer. Remove and replace

    Hello

    After using my printer on a regular basis and without any problem, I suddenly had this coming message: "cartridge in the slot on the left is not intended for use in this printer. Remove and replace.

    I have a computer that is running Windows 7, 64-bit and the cartridges that I use are all genuine HP cartridges, black and tricolor cartridges are XL.

    What surprises me the most, is that the left cartridge is not empty, I without touching it, there was no jam paper, or any other poor behaviour of the printer. It happened just in the middle of printing, the printer just finished a job, and was about to start the second in the queue. Maybe this detail can help or it's just a coincidence...

    Hello

    Please follow the steps in the document below.

  • Error on blue screen of Windows 8: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED on Wake-Up, posting of laptop power cord

    Question: I experience the infamous BSOD accompanied by "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" on Windows 8, when I wake up my laptop Dell Studio 1558 from the standby mode or when I disconnect the power cord of the charger. This error message is sometimes followed "(atikmdag.sys)."

    Context: I bought my laptop (Dell Studio 1558) directly from Dell.com about two years ago. It comes with Windows 7. I have upgraded to Windows 8 (not a clean install). I then did a clean install of it when I saw the above question, although it did not fix anything. I don't have a similar such problem when I was running Windows 7.

    What I did:

    • Has undergone a new installation of Windows 8
    • The latest version of BIOS provided by the Dell Web site
    • Installed the latest versions of all the drivers from the Dell website (Windows 8 shows no missing or peripheral drivers in Device Manager unknown)

    XML file of historical reliability (Hosted on MediaFire): http://www.mediafire.com/view/?ykk5k1nkfckdf99 <-- (if="" this="" helps="" diagnose="" any="">

    I have very little technical experience. If there is additional information, I can give you which could be useful, please let me know. I look forward to your ideas.

    HA! And once again, with only a few hours of difficult things, I solved the problem myself. Provided by Dell.com video card driver is not the latest version - actually, it's a very generic version, which seems to have caused my BSOD problems.

    Given that the BSOD, sometimes accompanied the text, "(atikmdag.sys)", I googled the phrase and discovered Member that it's related to something like a core of AMD (shrug).

    Given that this seems to be video related to the card, I went back to the files-> computer (right click-> properties)-> the Device Manager and re-checked my video card driver. As mentioned in the previous paragraph, any driver I downloaded was something of very generic - it wasn't AMD for some reason any. So, I just clicked it and updated the driver. This update solves the problem, and I am now updating the driver to the latest version directly provided by AMD.

    I hope this helps others with the same question. Thanks for your point of view.

  • computer laptop power cord overheating

    I have a HP Pavillion DV6409us.  I got it for at least 3 years.  The first power cord it came with broke at the bend of the hook into the computer, ordered a generic replacement cord - he worked nearly a year and snapped in the same place.  Ordered the exact same generic cord in May and it now (after using it for 3 months) overheating where the plug goes into the computer.  It got so hot you can feel it and he put a black line around the plug (the real end of rubber around the metal was extremely hot - almost soft).

    I decided that it must be something with this charger generic so I bit the bullet and spent 100 for new sector and HP power cord adapter.  It has today - plugged and it got hot in a few minutes.  What is the cause?  Obviously this is not the power cord.  Laptop was working fine and now would be if I could charge the battery.

    HP sent me some letters that the batteries being recalled, but when I look at mine until it is not on the list but really don't think it's the battery anyway because he's hot, even if the battery is out.

    I hope someone can help me - can't afford a new laptop now.

    The DC Jack on the laptop is very likely wrong, use a flashlight and look in the plug for damage, there will be some or all of the black plastic missing in the central part of the CC.

  • Power cord screen brightness variation and no brightness adjustment

    For some reason, it just happened by chance. When my power cord is inserted into my laptop instead of the increase in brightness of the screne, it decreases and her pretty dark as well and I don't know how to get back to the top.

    Anyone have any idea whats going on. Because I haven't yet touched it and it just went.

    Please can someone help, because it's very difficult because I can barely see anything.

    This product Tag number you provided is not coming as valid on the Dell site.  Please check again - I know it is difficult to read because it is so small.  So I could not check the details on your machine, but I don't know if this will help because Dell doesn't offer a lot of information on how to control hardware devices on their systems.  But if you check and send me the correct code, I'll try to cehck and see anyway.

    I found the following on the Dell site and don't know if it applies to your specific system, but this is something we have not tried, so it is worth it.

    Adjust the brightness

    "To set the screen LCD Brightness hold FN key and press the up arrow to increase the brightness.
    or just holding the key FN and press the down arrow to decrease the brightness. »

    Here is a thread in the Forum of Dell, I found on the issues of brightness with the Dell Inspiron 1545.  It includes the same procedure described above - but it includes a position that most of these problems is caused by problems with the motherboard.  I don't know if this is the problem, but if it is then, we deal with a hardware problem and not a software problem.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Want desolde/resolder, remove and replace the two damaged usb2 ports

    I have a Sat A30 perfect by all means other than 2 USB2 ports on the back that are damaged (black plastic seperaters between connectors jumped) not quite sure why this happened because I was simply unplug the connected usb plugs on both occasions.

    The connectors were not especially tight. fault is I have no insulation between copper connectors which are still found in the slots and causes a short circuit, when I plug in a usb device.

    I bought a card mother relpacement (damaged) and usb2 connections are OK! Have good technician experience in carring out Soldering/desoldering and has all the tools. Problem is that I have not the slightest idea what connections under the Board of Directors are required to unsolder my damaged usb2 card in order to remove/swop and perform the necessary replacement.

    I'm sure I'll be advised to contact an authorized reseller of Tosh. I tried this and they say that they will be already only the motherboard together and the cost is horrible. I would rather make the repair myself that's not rocket science.

    The techies out there who could counsel with picture of the relevent pins to desoldering in order to remove and repair the fault would be greatly appreciated.

    If you can help in any way or point me in the right direction to go repair.

    I hope someone can help. Thank you very much

    Hello

    Please don't be crazy about me, but in my opinion, is not a very good idea to open the notebook alone if you don't have a lot of experience with it. Laptops are designed on the specific way and exchange of material is not so easy as the exchange of material to work stations.

    Believe me that a small error in the assembly/disassembly procedure can case damage to equipment or the façade of the same laptop parts. I know that there's not much service partner assistance because they want to do. It costs money, but you must understand that if they give that kind of advice or information they may close the shop very soon.

    You can try to do it alone, but at your own risk and be careful.

    Hey folk,

    Broke and need to replace a couple of keys on my keyboard UK A30. At present, all what I have in place are the rubber bubble popper & locators of metal set in the empty spaces.
    The keys in question are the shift (I have no u lying in spring form) and? + / keys of RHS of KB.

  • Remove and replace XML tags

    How can I delete a XML tag and replace using script? There is a function for adding tags in the document (activeDocument.xmlTags.add("xml-tag")), but I cannot find a corresponding function to delete it and replace it with another, as you would in the GUI.

    I tried to accomplish this by changing the name of the tag to one I tried using the code below, but it throws the error: "a label with the same name already exists.  Please choose another name. »

    for(var i=0;i<xmlTags.length;i++){
         xmlTags[i].markupTag.name = "existing-xml-tag";
    }

    Anyone know of a way around this error or should I use another method entirely?

    OK, it was not so difficult to solve. I was looking in the wrong place that's all. Function remove (replaceWith) is available in the XMLTag class. That means that the followin code removes the tag called "p-news-topic" and replaces it with the existing tag called 'p '.

    myDoc.xmlTags.itemByName("p-new-section").remove("p");
