  But I'm confused and apparently other people are also confused.

  For example, in the item number 360189568370 eBay, the seller wrote that the C309A "REPLACES PART NUMBER CC335A #ABA".

  However, in this eBay listing, the seller wrote "this auction INCLUDES HP C309A multifunction PHOTO PRINTER CC335A #ABA".

  I've seen similar confusion on other Internet sites.

  Is there a difference between the C309A and CC335A #ABA?

  Is the the latest version of the #ABA CC335A C309A?

  Should I buy directly from HP of course get the latest version of the Photosmart Premium Fax all-in - One Printer series - C309?

  The name "HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-One Printer series - C309" is the trade name for the printer, and CC335A is the product number/product code. Both refer to the same device. The description of this seller on Ebay is confusing. But I hope this helps.

  This e-all-in-one printer from HP Photosmart 7520 bought last week and cannot issue to reslove the awakening. Printer goes to sleep as the value, and to wake up, BUT with an error message on the display. I tried AUTO ON / OFF and different sleep wait times but nothing helped.  I can't believe the USB cable or the PC/software is to blame because the wake-up printer, but in a State of dysfunction and should now be in the off position, then press.   The following workaround solution should correct the problem - basically how to turn off the sleep function.  It works when all other options have failed to solve the problem: assigning static IP, small insect sacrifice, swearing, all sorts of settings...

  Be aware: I do not know the consequences - if any - turning off the sleep function.

  I am running operating system is Mac OS on my laptop MacBook Pro 10.6.8

  January 23, I got an error on the printer that says 'offline' and I noticed that the Wireless Watch icon is no longer on my printer.  I can connect to the internet.  I went through all the steps in the order on how to solve this problem on the HP site, but nothing helped.  I also looked for the firmware and the new software.  The firmware will not be completed the last step (peripheral location).  I can add a printer and print and fax, but I can scan is no longer.  In the print window there used to be an icon of a printer and a scanner, and now there is nothing.  Someone has any ideas on how to solve this problem, I've done research and been trying since January?

  Thanks for the reply.  FYI I already reinstalled so I started step 2 and got the below error when I tried to open the Scan task manager and I don't know what is wrong and what to do now.

  HP Scan cannot be opened because of a problem.

  Check with the developer to make sure that HP Scan works with this version of Mac OS X.  You may need to reinstall the application.  Don't forget to install the updates that are available for the application and Mac OS X.

• Why my Kindle fire can not find my HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-one printer - C309a with ePrint.

  I downloaded the HP ePrint onto my Kindle Fire (first generation).  The app has been obtained from the Amazon AppStore I looked printer apps for Kindle Fire.  I use the HP ePrint with my iPhone4 and iPad 2 and can print from both of them with her.  Kindle fire can't find the printer on my network wireless using ePrint.  I wonder why this happens when two other mobile devices are easily.  Can someone tell me what I could do in order to access the printer all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium Fax - C309a on Kindle fire?

  I set up the connection on the HP printer wireless and was able to print from my Kindle on it.  However, my iPhone and iPad will be printed on the HP printer via wireless connection.

  I reconnected my USB cable at the airport, but left the WiFi of the HP printer and now I can print from the iPad and iPhone / Kindle.  My Inspiron 1525 PC and my PowerBookG4 can print on the HP printer using WiFi or via the USB connection.

  There is no difference between the 2, but the DJ 2544 is a printer retail and comes with a USB cable.

• HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-One Printer-C309a-new black ink cartridge will not print

  I just installed a new black cartridge (made by HP) what print quality became poor in the middle of a job.  He completed the job just fine, but when I tried to print later, the parts of the document that are in color/black and white will be printed.  Black is simply absent from the document.  the level of supply shows as thin and all the diagnostics indicate that there is no probem.  I have not received the error messages.  I tried to turn the printer power switch.  I tried to clean the print heads.  I tried to uninstall & reinstall the cartridge.  I do not have the black cartridges extra to try to see if that does not solve the problem, but as stated above, it worked at first.  I have just printed on ordinary regular white printer paper.  I tried all the relevant measures in the troubleshooting document of poor mailed print quality HP elsewhere on this page.  nothing worked!  another post mentioned someone resetting the printer, but did not say how it was done.  any ideas on a solution? Thank you!

  To reset the printer, follow these steps:

  While the unit is turned on, remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug the power cord to the back of the printer, then turn on the device. That will complement a power reset.

  Now, lack of black printing can be the result of a number of things. If it's only missing say when printing from Word, then print settings in Word are set to grayscale only (or something similar) which would exclude the black cartridge. If all programs, so it's either the main print in grayscale settings only the value or the cartridge/print head is blocked to the top/Sales. If this isn't the print settings, then create a report of print quality and follow the steps described in this document:

  I downloaded the latest drivers from HP driver downloads, connected the printer using USB and installed the software.

  Whenever I try to print as a document of the text of the e-mail etc after a second a red mark appears on the printer icon in the dock.

  When I open the printer utility reads the printer is paused and the document is displayed in the queue, I click the button back light on icon turns green, and then it goes again to the red.

  I remove the file from the queue and try again, but still the same thing happens.

• How can I use feeder to copy documents with Photosmart Premium Fax All - in - One Printer C309a

  Documentation for this device suggests that pages can be copied by placing them on the platen or their power in the ADF (adf). The work of the first method, the latter sends blank pages, i.e. the adf supports pages only, but produces a blank sheet for each of them. This seems a very basic function, but I can't find any reference to troubleshooting it. And YES I put the original in the ADF.

  I ran this tool diagnosis previously (before my question), but as he had nothing of the adf I presume that this would not help. However, not to be rude, I just run the tool again and now find my adf will produce copies (color and bw) when you use the machine as a stand-alone. Result! The diagnostic tool makes this fix, or is just as likely to stop working again (this printer seems weird like that, which is particularly galling that I use it with a laptop HP)?

  My pc runs windows 7 x64bit and I have Microsoft Works 9 installed. I did the data base works and try to print it. I want to print it in landscape format, but no matter what I put in the printer or the database, parameters, it keeps printing in portrait mode and make 2 pages. Can someone advise please?

  My only other thought on this would be that some basic settings are disabled. I change my default settings in the Printers folder (via the sometimes Control Panel), then set the same parameters in the software itself. This can help with this issue often ignored:

• VMPlayer cannot detect the scanner for all-in-one printer?

  Hello.  I am running Linux Mint 14 in VMPlayer on your desktop AMD Win7 hexagonal base.  The implementation uses a MG5320 Canon all-in-one printer on a wireless network.

  Symptom: When you try to use the scanner under Linux software, I get an error that does not scan.

  Comments: I know that the printer is connected and can print from VMPlayer.  I used the scan software successfully in a Win7 laptop boots double in Linux Mint 14.  Therefore, the only difference is running Linux Mint in VMPlayer.

  The 'virtual' printer in the virtual machine settings through the present printers on the host - there should be no impact on your ability to 'normally' adding printers inside the guest.

  Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the same type of printer, and I'm not Linux.

  The thing is useful that maybe I can tell you, is that you may need to configure the virtual adapter as connected by a bridge instead of the default NAT.

  These measures appear to be in place. Have you, you click on apply after you have changed these settings.

  You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers. This will reset all back.

  I can't make a copy of the surface of the glass of the printer. Automatic advance works great, time to take the paper and print a copy. In the past, printing from glass was not a problem. The error message on the printer says "Document Feeder Jam. Reload document, then restart of work. " The problem is that there not be jammed.
