  Thank you for your answer and I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting.

  The printer cannot distinguish what is printing. I think the old documents are somehow corrupted which can cause this problem. Try to print from other applications and check. If the problem only occurs with the old documents, then the problem is with the word app you use.

  I recommend reinstall the word and check.

  Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that you want to configure the printer on Mac. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

  The printer software is installed by the Apple updates. You should be able to simply connect the printer to the Mac through a USB cable and the Mac should automatically install the drivers for you.

  If not, then follow the steps in this document to install the printer: install a printer Mac driver by using Apple Software Update.

  I have a Photosmart C5283 all in one. I bought a new computer - Lenovo Ideapad Z710. I want to install the printer on the computer, but I get a message that the operating system (windows 8) is not supported. How can I install the printer? I heard that there is a driver that can be installed on the printer that will allow the installation. Is this correct? Or do I have to upgrade the operating system?

  Welcome to the HP Forums

  I think that the issue you are running into is simply because the software supplied with the printer CD would not have Windows 8 drivers on it.

  If I'm not mistaken, I have two options for you! You can download the HP printer installation wizard and run it. This tool will search and find the right software for your printer and your operating system. If you are connected to the printer via the USB port you can connect the USB cable when you start the wizard.

  If you would be more comfortable just downloading the software and running it yourself you can do it with the following link: HP Photosmart C5200 all-in-One Printer series full feature software and driver. If you choose this route, please make sure that you do NOT connect the USB cable (if this is how you connect) until the software specifically asks you to connect.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I understand you want to be able to install your HP Photosmart e-all-in-one 5524, printer on your Mac OS X 10.5.8 OS. Unfortunately this product is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or more so you will not be able to install the drivers and HP full feature software.

  However, you can try a different driver. I can't guarantee that it works, but you have nothing to lose. Another single driver will give you print capacity.

  First of all, you need to get your product on the wireless network. There is only a USB wireless installation for your printer if you would need to install the printer on an operating system supported to get on the wireless network.

  Once the printer on the wireless network, on your Mac OS X 10.5.8 computer you can:

  1. Click on the Apple on the top of your window
  2. Select System Preferences
  3. Select print and fax
  4. Under printing and fax more click the (+) sign to add a printer
  5. You should see your product in the list of devices. Select the printer, and then manually select the driver of the Photosmart C5200 series.
  6. Try to print!

  The C5200 is only a suggested driver. You can try another Photosmart driver but it's the driver that seems to have worked for other users. Once again, this is not guaranteed and will not support if you need assistance in the future.

  If you need to scan, you can configure the HP Eprint Mobile scanning application.

  To summarize it all, your printer is not supported on Mac OS X 10.5.8 OS. However, you might try another driver for printing and scanning to email Eprint app for scanning. The other pilot is not guaranteed to work and will not be supported by the HP Technical Support if you need assistance in the future.

  I had this printer for two years and was satisfied with the results, use it with Windows XP. I had to update my system and Windows 7 was installed. I used my original for the printer driver and was advised that he was not recognized then suggested I go to the website and download the driver required, what I've done.

• Firefox will download some new messages. Hang and eventually say no new messages. Run again and several messages will download and mess up once again.

  This occurred shortly after I cleaned and removed many old emails. The reason why I did, is that the system was really slow download of messages.

  Shortly after he'd say I had 300 messages download a random number. 1,50,200 etc then stops. Saying: no new messages.

  My server provider is ATT Uverse. I checked the mail server, change to the last settings best suited for the field sbcglobal.net . Problem is still there.

  I set up Outlook on my computer for the first time. Outlook works perfectly. Thunderbird does not work.

  I first noticed problems a couple of weeks. At worse after you have cleaned the old emails end of last week.

  I have compacted all folders and rebuilds the index. I tried safe mode worked a second time try same problem.

• HP C5230: Scanner does not see memory cards

  I have a HP C5230 scanner, copier, printer.   It worked fine, but suddenly, it no longer reads any type of memory card.  Unfortunately, you have the scan to a memory card, so now the scanner does not work.  Anyone have any ideas?   It's like memory card ports are dead.

• Printing wireless upgrade kit installed successfully, but keep himself reinstall!

  I have Windows Vista and an HP Photosmart C5200 printer. I installed the printer and the wireless

  That is the problem. The printer gets disconnected and will then relocate several times throughout the day. I find myself with the printer, then printher 1, then printer 2 then 3 printer, then printer 4... you get the picture.

  This is a problem that I have not found an answer, and it drives me crazy.

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times, mise put up-to-date drivers, said the patch - without help.

  If I try to install the software for the kit wireless on HP site, it stops and freezes at the "interim current 90% and overall progress - installation adapter PC driver 10%.". I was stuck there for days, re-tried several times with the same problem.

  I can reinstall the software from the cd, get the patch, but will still have the problem of "reinstall itself" several times a day.

  Any ideas?

  You can print by loading media into the tray of standard support.  In the driver, select "ink jet transparency."  Make sure that the sheets you use include a main strip (compulsory for sensors can 'see' the media) and have a coating for inkjet ink.

  Hello. I have a HP5280 printer all in one that worked a lot over the years. I recently bought a laptop HP2000 and unfortunately, it seems that I can't install the printer. The laptop has Windows 8, which is the reason why I'm suspecting that it is impossible to install. Does anyone know if there is a solution for this? I'd love to continue using my printer without having to buy a new one when this one still works very well. Less wasted plastic. Thanks for any idea!

  I see that you have a problem with the installation of the printer to your new computer.

  I have a few steps we can take to solve this problem.

  If you try to connect the printer to the computer with a USB cable, remove the cable from the printer and the computer and let it.

  So, I suggest you click on the following link and save HP Photosmart C5200 all-in-One Printer series full feature software and driver on the computer desktop.  This will create a new icon and make downloading easy to find.

  Double-click on the icon and follow the instructions.  Installation will tell you when to connect the usb cable then please don't do it before hand.

  Yes you can, but you will need media transparency which is coated for inkjet use and which has a document of the band at the top of the page.  In the features tab of the driver set for the film of a transparency paper type appropriate.  You can load the media in the paper tray standard, with the strip of paper on top and facing forward.

So I leave this pop-up notice it States so, error 1706 no Source valid is not found for the product DocProc. Windows Installer cannot continue. If I click OK and it ask Me all over again thanks to Put disc 1 of DocProc. MSI on it!

  I had the same problem after the update of drivers for my HP PhotoSmart C3150 all-in-one.  When I tried to use the scan function I would continually be queried for the location of DocProc. After reviewing this site and others that a web search on DocProc gave and not like the process I read.   I have reviewed the installation disc delivered with the printer and pointed out that in the configuration of the folder is a folder named DocProc and in this case was that a windows install file called DocProc (\Setup\DocProc\DocProc).  In desperation (several days have passed since installing latest drivers) I ran the installer of DocProc.  The program is run after clicking Run, and then not anything noticeable.  I tried to use my scanner and it worked without receiving the error message about the location of the DocProc.msi file.    I hope this helps.
