• HP Photosmart Plus 209 a - m does not detect my wireless

  I have a HP Photosmart Plus 209 a - m wireless all-in-one printer and I use Windows 7 for my OS. The printer does not detect my wireless. I checked the setings wireless to the printer. Wireless is on and working, but it fails to detect our SSID.

  I used print and Scan doctor but who could not connect to the printer. I tried the printer on my computer but my computer does not detect it. I tried to download the HP software to reinstall the printer, but I received a message stating that the printer was not connected.

  This printer has worked with wireless network in the past. I suspect a recent change in the disposition of our wireless network might have caused the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

  Any suggestions?

  So I solved the problem by uninstalling the "upgradeprinter" (that's what my computer was recognizing the HP Photosmart Plus 209 as). Icon in the list of printers for the HP Photosmart wouldn't let me not uninstall this printer at that time where (the button uninstall is not usable). I kept the HP software installed and I kept the printer connected to the computer. The computer uninstalled you 'Upgradeprinter' then restarted. When the computer restarts automatically began to reinstall the HP Photosmart Plus printer correctly. I don't know if he has begun to do this because I tried redownloading the installation software, because the HP software installed always, either because the printer is connected to my computer. I decided to ask it was useless as long as it works. The printer is installed properly, but after you run a scan with print and Scan doctor, I found that it was only installed to run on the USB port.   Sometimes, when I try to print PDF documents, one or two sheets will print then the printer will just stop.  It turns on and the message window says something like "to avoid damage, use the button 'on' close ' my husband has this same printer and the same thing happens.  I am running Windows 7, Vista, he is a candidate.  Is there a solution?

  Note that this does not occur with each PDF, some.  I was not able to find a common denominator between those who print correctly without any problem and those who are not.

In the style of France the 178 HP, designed for that printer ink cartridge is not available, and it seems that the cartridge HP 364 in France is the same size and adapts to the machine but wil lnot work. I get a message on the printer saying incompatible cartridge. I saw a post about this problem with instructions to contact HP and get a kind of rearmament of the country. I wasn't able to do that.   You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  It worked before? If so, I suggest restarting the base station AirPort, Mac and the Photosmart. Then test it again. Ensure that the Photosmart works well autonomous - try printing a copy on the device.

  Is only the failing printing and analysis very well? Or you are not able to install the device on your Mac at all?

  Already check the Photosmart is connected to your network and has received an IP address?

• HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m black cartridge will not print

  My HP photosmart Plus 209 a, m stopped printing black ink. I've had less than a year, and it worked perfectly until last night, when all of a sudden it stopped printing black ink... All other colors work very well. I took all the actions proposed by the HP support site, I have cleaned the print heads, ran the alignments, cartridges has changed twice again (never used anything else than new HP cartridges) and still no black ink. So I searched for an answer outside the HP site and tried all the suggestions, I came across but always without success. I found, however, that there are many people with the same problem but I have yet to find a person who has solved. Please someone help me!

  I recently had experinece problems when you try to print. The printer starts printing the paper, freeze for a minute or two and then spit the sheet on incomplete. He will then proceed to print another sheet, outside, with black strips, running through it, either with a series of letters and symbols on the top. It seems very occasionally to print without any problem at all.

  To try to resolve the problem so far, I've updated the software of the printer, it seemed to have no effect, and I ran printing HP and doctor scan, but it can't seem to pick up all the problems. This is a wireless printer that is connected to a network, it was connected to and has worked previously.

  I hope someone can help because I'm getting very frustrated! Thank you in advance.

  I understand that the printer is not printing correctly.
  I'll be happy to help you.

  I turns off all startup programs to make sure there isn't something blocking the printer from printing. Click Start, in the search box type to perform, enter, and then type msconfig, click OK.

  Click the Services tab to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box. Click Disable all, and then click OK.

  Then click on the tab at the top of the start page. Click Disable all.
  Restart the computer.

  Disable any antivirus software.

  Try printing right now to see if that makes a difference.

  Then, return to msconfig and enable all the Microsoft Services and enable all Startup tab turn on the Antivirus software.

• HP Photosmart Plus B210a won't come out of power save mode.

  The printer works fine until it sits awhile and goes into 'power saving mode'. Nothing it comes out that mode except unplug the power cord and back running the printer. I disabled the: power saving mode and have had no problems. Is there a fix so I can turn the: energy safe mode: back on?

  I have a HP Photosmart Plus B210a and it's brand new. I am using Windows 7 32 bit and I get no error message. When I ran the HP print utility, all checked in green except when I tried to print a test page and test page remained in Quebec and a red X.

  Technical support told me that the problem was a hardware problem. They sent me a new printer!
