HP Pro 3130 graphics card

I have a HP PC I want to set up a graphics card to replace the onboard Intel graphics card.

It's a HP Pro 3130 Mini-Tower

Intel core i3 550/3.2 GHz processor dual core

4 GB of DDR 3 SDRAM ECC non PC3-10600

Hard drive 320 GB

CA 120/230V 300 Watt

Windows 7 64 bit

Amateur computer complete so would appreciate any input as to which is the best graphic card I can adapt easily without having to change power etc. Doesn't have to be amazing but 1 GB would be ice and would improve anything on the graphs integrated!

Here is the service manual as it is:

Manual

Not a lot of step by step instructions, but it does show me that it uses pci-e graphics cards in format full height.

The video card branch of the longer Brown slit that extends horizontally in the image of the motherboard on page 2.

This card says there need a 400w power supply but takes no extra power... coming out of the power supplied by the slot itself and should work for you. This is by far the most powerful card I could find who runs power slot.

  • A Satellite Pro 6100 graphics card does not work correctly

    Hello!

I have a Satellite Pro 6100 (PS610E - 02c 60-GR) 1.7 Ghz, 256 MB, 40 GB, 15XT and a Geforce4 420 Go (32 MB) graphic card. Until yesterday it was working properly. Now, there are colors on the screen and there was a blue screen a few times, which says something about my graphics card (it disappeared from fast read).
I uninstalled the old driver and reinstalled twice. Nothing has changed. Also I tried with an external monitor, but there wasn't any change, too.

    Now my questions:
    1. is it possible to change the graphics card (in particular, can I do it alone without a technician)?
    2. How can I do this, is there some tutorials, especially for my laptop?
    3. an another Geforce4, but for example a Geforce4 440 Go with 64 MB of RAM would fit in my notebook?

I thank very you much in advance!
    Lukas

    Hi Lukas

The led flashes as it provides a microcode error!
This is especially if the malfunction of hardware has been detected.
I presume that the replacement of the graphics card is the reason!

As in previous discussions suggested the replacement of the graphics card is NOT possible. You don't believe!
Looks like that the BIOS cannot handle this new graphics chip.

  • Satellite Pro 6100 Graphics Card upgrade/replacement

    I have a Satellite Pro 6100 p4 - m 2.0 30 GB and the graphics card is dead. I love this laptop.

He had a NVidia GeForce4 420 Go 16 MB card

I can replace it with a GeForce4 420 Go 32 MB of the same model.

Is there something more powerful on the market that works without any problem for the 6100? That is to say. GeForce4 440 Go 64 MB?

    See you soon

Usually didn t of toshiba offers an update of the separate graphics card but he had different graphics cards installed in your computer, and, THEORETICALLY, you can use each of these cards in your machine. I can't promise it but they should all work in this machine.

The problem is to disassemble the machine completely and if you do something wrong then you know that it is useless to come back because your machine is no longer in warranty. It would be wise to give the machine a technician to exchange the graphics card.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you what graphics cards in your machine or which partnumbers are needed. In this case you´re on your own.

    Good luck

I ve installed driver but its says not at all.  No driver problem?
Do you have windows do not develop this series graphics card driver software?
    Hello!
I had the same problem with ATI HD 6470 M graphics card on my HP Pavilion G7 1223sm and I found the solution here.
Drivers for my model of laptop from official page has not worked for me either. After install drivers, Windows 8 was always detect my graphics card such as ATI HD 7400 M with error code 43.
I downloaded SP58660 and installed, when the catalyst Logo appeared that I canceled the installation (this retrieves the SP58660 on my HDD only).
I went directly to the control panel-> device-> graphics card Manager. Right-click on 7400 HD and update the driver. I mentioned it in the location 'C:\swsetup\SP58660\Packages' and automatically installed Windows driver.
Now everything works fine, in the device manager is ATI HD 6470 M without any error code.
  • Should I replace an AMD Radeon HD 7770 with Quadro FX Pro 3800 graphics card?

    Hello world

I'm an entry level editor that makes internal company videos.  Here's the situation (I hope that's not too basic a question):

I just buy Adobe Master Collection for a newly purchased Dell XPS 8500, with an i7 processor, 24Gbs of Ram, a 1 TB drive and an entry-level Radeon graphics card.   I intend (ed) to replace the AMD with the FX 3800, but looking at the specifications, the AMD card seems to be powerful enough: two GB of GDDR5 memory and PCI Express 3.0 16 buses with a maximum resolution of 4096 x 3112 x.  The FX 3800 was bought a year ago, it has 1 GB memory GDDR3 and PCI Express 2.0 x 16 bus interface, but has certification for GPU acceleation Adobe. The FX3800 display two ports and a Dual Link DVI port with a resolution of 2560 x 1600.

    I'm shooting AVCHD on a NEX - 5N.

Appreciate any ideas you may have.

You want a Nvidia card for MPE support material. AMD cards are not supported now on the side PC with Open CL. There is the possibility to get a Geforce card of 600 series rather that to use the Quadro which gives you the same or better specs as card AMD.

I do not understand your question.  Is the information that you have posted on your Mac

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M, PCIe, 2048 MB

Have you looked at "System Profiler" or "System information" applications-> utilities?  Under "Graphics/displays" in the left column.

You can try to play with gfxCardStatus

Is it possible to add a graphics card Intel HD extra to a HP Pro 3130 Minitour, use a third and a fourth monitor?

    Gerodona, welcome to the forum.

All the information I found on the computer, it is apparent that there only one PCI Express x 16 slot.  However, there are three PCI Express x 1 slots.

The x 1 slot is much slower than the x 16 slot.  For this reason, I don't know if you want to try an x 1 video card or not.  I have read conflicting opinions on how they work.

Here is a map of the workstation which can be a good option.  It's expensive, but it seems to be a great card.  Watch the video in the middle of the page that deals with the card.  I was not sure that a workstation card will work in a computer, but I did some research and they seem to work well.  You can always contact AMD to make sure it works on your computer.

  • More high graphics card Possible for early 2009 Mac Pro

As the title suggests, I have an early 2009 Mac Pro with 12 GB of RAM.

I want to update my graphics card to something better and I have no idea of what I put in the card. Ideally, I would like to put the last possible graphics card that is compatible for this.

I don't know what I would look for PCI or PCI - e and what diet I would look for that would support such a computer "arcane".

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Best wishes

    Sergio

the 2009 mac 4.1 pro can be upgraded to a number of current spare cards from Nvidia and AMD, but in many cases the cards require custom flashing of the Distributor and custom drivers. You need to buy a card with a distributor of mac because versions "Windows" of these cards will not work out of the box and OS X will not support without 3rd party drivers. This procedure is not recommended by apple that would rather you buy a new mac pro and again I want to say something for $5K, which offers the latest GPU is already 3 years old.

research on the Web "Mac Pro 4.1 GPU" for more details.

    Couple of questions...

    1. I asked the seller if is compatible with Mac (he did not know the answer). They are compatible for both mac/pc or is there a version for each? It will work in a mac pro 3.1?

    2. do I need to provide a source of additional power for this or already installed cables will suffice?

    Thank you very much

Yes it will work in a 3.1 based on:

You must 10.10.5 or later version.

You don't need additional power but yoo must Nvidia drivers

  • MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee

    Hi all

end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.

My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.

    My questions:

    • After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
    • What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?

Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...

I would appreciate any recommendations and links!

    Best regards

    Rahel

-As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board

-The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.

-When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?

This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop.
