Additional graphics in Minitour HP Pro 3130

Is it possible to add a graphics card Intel HD extra to a HP Pro 3130 Minitour, use a third and a fourth monitor?

Gerodona, welcome to the forum.

All the information I found on the computer, it is apparent that there only one PCI Express x 16 slot.  However, there are three PCI Express x 1 slots.

The x 1 slot is much slower than the x 16 slot.  For this reason, I don't know if you want to try an x 1 video card or not.  I have read conflicting opinions on how they work.

Here is a map of the workstation which can be a good option.  It's expensive, but it seems to be a great card.  Watch the video in the middle of the page that deals with the card.  I was not sure that a workstation card will work in a computer, but I did some research and they seem to work well.  You can always contact AMD to make sure it works on your computer.

  • HP protect tools on HP Pro 3130 MT desktop somehow active.

Desktop computer HP Pro 3130 MT running Windows 7 Professional.  It's my friends computer and is not able to open a session.  She doesn't have a fingerprint logon option.  It's a personal computer at home and not used for work or accessible from another location.   There is no display at first, so I figured the monitor.  After looking at the turn of the computer, all the vents were clogged with dust.  So I used air to clean the dust.  Disconnected everything, from the power on the screen and after cleaning replace connections.  The computer was delivered without any problems in the log on-screen.

Once she tried to open a session in the HP Protecttools ends up and after the password, an error message indicating a choice of logon without biometric features , after choosing this option comes the error the RPC server is unavailable.

    Hello:

If the method F11 does not work to restore the operating system then you need to contact HP and order a set of recovery disc for your 3130.

Call HP for the country that you live in the link below, technical support after purchase.

Call the phone number for the PC business.

In the USA/Canada, a set of recovery discs costs delivered $10,00.

  • additional graphics for windows 7 32 bit

I have a PC running Windows 7 32 bit, powered by the processor intel i5 2nd genration (32 bit). It has 4 GB of RAM and built-in 1 GB memory graphics. Now I plan to upgrade my graphics memory by adding the graphics card of 2 GB (Radeon, ATI...).

This can affect the performance of the system?

I watched a lot of messages saying that the available memory may get reduced if I add this additional graphics memory.

    Please suggest.

"I watched a lot of messages saying that the available memory may get reduced if I add this additional graphics memory."

This only happens if you are using a laptop or a PC with integrated graphics that "shares".

RAM system with the graphics accelerator, in which case the maximum limit for your motherboard

can be only 1 GB anyway (the setting for "shared" system RAM graphics is located in the BIOS).

-With the current series of Nvidia, the GTX750ti can be considered a close replacement for the GTX560ti, with the added benefit of low energy consumption and the extra 1 GB of VRAM.

Only 300W power minimum is necessary for the GTX750ti.

-However, for about the same price you could get a GTX660, who needs a minimum 450W power supply, but performs better than the GTX560 ti and GTX750ti.

-Also check the comments for the AMD 265 R7 and R9 270 and compare the performance and price

with Nvidia cards in your area.

Having more than 1 GB VRAM can be useful with some AAA latest titles to run max @1920 X 1080 settings, especially if wanting to use Anti-Aliasing 2 X higher settings.

Only a handful of games use a lot more than about 1.30 GB of VRAM

EG - Crysis 2 uses 1.8 GB with my set-up.

-As mentioned Mike... 2GB VRAM is not always equivalent to a faster card. Some low-end cards

delivered with 2 GB of VRAM (like a gimick), but they cannot deal with this amount of data efficiently.

Read a few reviews compared to the indicators of game.

-GTA4 can use a little more than 1 GB of VRAM, but you really need 64-bit Windows.

While even heavy system RAM use games go much more than 4 GB of system RAM, you are currently

not even get all the benefits of 4 GB, due to running Win7 32 bit.

BTW - GTA4 has bad folding (one of several problems being wrong door console on PC).

but this can be corrected by using the FXAA in Control Panel Nvidia (MLAA if you use AMD card).

Other anti-aliasing options have no effect on the aliasing in GTA4.

    Thank you very much

Yes it will work in a 3.1 based on:

  • Can I replace the graphics card on Satellite Pro A100

    Hi all

Just a quick question about the graphics card in my Satellite pro a100 computer laptop. I heard different stories about this.

The ATI RAdeon Mobility x 1400 card can be replaced on this laptop. If so how easy it is to do and how I could tell which cards would be compatible?

    Thank you

    MAcca.

You cannot remove, replace or update the graphics card.
The graphics chip is attached to the motherboard and it of not possible to remove it.
In addition, the motherboard is compatible only with the current graphics chip.

  • Problems with the graphics card on Satellite Pro M10

Hi, this is my first post on the forum. I'm not a pro with computers or anything... the problem I have with my laptop is similar to the one in this thread:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26849&TSTART=0

I spent half the day trying to figure out if my graphics card is broken, but since I'm a newbie with this stuff, I'm still not sure. :(

This is what makes my M10. I'm trying to describe the symptoms that detailed as possible, but I'm German, so please excuse my lack of words in some places.

    1. when I turn it on, the laptop goes through the BIOS and give me scrambled BACK-screens and a slightly Warped windows loading bar. There is the consistency check, marked by black bars connecting the top of the screen down. After the audit, the screen goes black and nothing happens, or the screen of will just show me consistency check, do nothing. Be that as it may, I have to turn off the power (I think) and restart the laptop.

    2. sometimes the laptop goes through the BIOS checking & conistency with a few graphical shortcomings. The office is anything but shredded when he gets to the screen of the Windows user. The static method is if serious I don't even know where is the button turn off.

    3. sometimes Notepad starts very well, with the only graphic problem being the windows loading bar. When I go into Windows, the laptop pulls me a blue screen and stops immediately.

    4. sometimes, the laptop works fine for about an hour or two. After I rebooted, I have the same problems listed above, once again.

    5. If I open Device Manager and disable the graphics card, the laptop works very well. I have to lower the screen resolution and colors, but I can watch videos on youtube and everything. Finally, the laptop gets very hot on the bottom and the screen goes crazy again, so I turn the damn thing off.

I don't know what that means! If my graphics card is broken, the screen should be all static, ALL the time? Not just sometimes more,... could sometimes less be some sort of communication problem between the graphics card and cpu? Please help me with this!

Another thing I'm not sure about, even after reading the thread I linked above - can I replace the graphics card or not? Everyone said something different in the other thread...

    see you soon,
    Cozmo

Edit: maybe I will add when I got the screen scrambled and everything. I installed Civilization 4, just to check if my satellite pro can handle, and everything went well for a while. The screen then haywire and I rebuilt my whole system, but display problems did not disappear completely. They were gone for almost a month, and now they are 'back' or something.

    Hi Cozmo

I'm not a technician but here nobody needs technical knowledge to see that there certainly is hardware problem. I also believe that this problem occurs due to the graphics card. Graphics card is part of the motherboard and it cannot be traded separately. The entire motherboard must be exchanged.

In my opinion, you have two options: either contact the authorized service provider in your country and speak with them, what can be done, or try to get the motherboard used. If you are lucky, you can find it on eBay. I already bought several hardware components for my old Satellite P10 on eBay.

Sorry Cozmo but I do not see any other logical solution for you.

    Good luck!

  • Need the latest drivers for the graphics card for Satellite Pro M70

I have had this PC for a few months now and I was disappointed to hear that my drivers are WAY outdated. The only drivers I can find are here and they are only something v.8 (although the game reads this as an older version).

The problem comes when I want to play games like Half Life 2 and CSS, the game crashes because these drivers are up-to-date. Where can I get the LATEST drivers for the ATI Mobility Radeon x 700 for the Toshiba M70 Pro card?

    Hello

You can check the different graphics drivers form the papers that were delivered with the same graphic card as your Satellite M70 Pro.

Further, you can view different websites which also offers some graphics drivers, for example the site omegadrivers.net.

    Please note:
According to several threads here in the forum of the graphics driver installation non-Toshiba is at your own risk!

  • Graphic driver on Satellite Pro U200 (Vista Business 32 bit CZECH)

I have two problems with my gfx driver.

    (1) for the recovery of the mode standby, the screen goes to 1024 x 768 instead of going back to 1280 x 800
    (2) for playback of Lineage 2, the game crashes to the desktop and I get the error message "display driver igfx stopped responding and was recovered. After Googling a bit, I found a new display driver for my Intel 945GM Express would solve the problem. So I downloaded the correct driver from intel.com but I can't install it. I get an error message saying "driver is not verified for this computer. Ask the manufacturer of the computer for the correct driver. So I went to the toshiba site and I downloaded the driver appropriate to go there (well, toshiba.com is not the last, intel.com has a more recent version). But when I tried to install it, I got the message that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installation! What does that mean?! I have read the readme file and my laptop has certainly meets the requirements, in addition to the driver, I downloaded to work for Satellite Pro U200, because I have entered all the necessary information to download the driver.

If can please someone solve my problem? And if not, is it a toshiba support hotline or something where I can call?

Yes, I agree entirely with snipe. In such situations, I do the following:

Backup of my data-> recover my machine-> install the latest drivers and software including all the tools-> see what happens ;)
And then work with the machine...

    I like computer systems...: D

    See you soon

    Hello:

Here is the link to the quickspecs for your PC.

The list of video cards supported are on page 4.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04288441.PDF

Today, another factor when choosing a video card is the age / the version of BIOS in your PC vs model of the video card.

Is no longer a simple comparison of consumption of current power supply and PCI Express version.

Choose the newest on the market today probably won't work in a PC more than a year or two years.
