• ProBook 430 G2 - left trackpad button does not respond intermittently

  I have a brand new ProBook. G2 430 (SKU # G6W35EA #ABB) with Windows 8.1, completely up to date. I find that every 10-15 minutes, the left button on the trackpad becomes unresponsive. The trackpad still moving the mouse pointer and the right button will continue to operate, but the left button does not react. This takes several minutes, perhaps 3-4. Then the left button it will start again to work as if nothing had happened. Because the button back to work, I suspect it's more likely to be a problem with the driver software or the Windows 8.1.

  I have Synaptics TouchPad driver version 18.1.8.1, the current version of the driver.

  I have Windows 8.1 version 6.3.9600.

  I have a minor breakthrough! So, until now the best solution that we had found was close the lid and open it upwards and the button would start working again. Not very good when you are in the middle of something.

  The new workaround is to do a tap two fingers on the touchpad and that seems to work. I tried now on 3-4 laptops with 100% success!

  I don't know if it is a 'feature' that detects the Palm of your hand when you type or something. I have not found anything about this either on the driver (haven't looked very hard tbh).

  I just got the x120e and I have been through the fixed auto-éclaircissant himself. After that, I hit the Fn + Home and adjusted to my preference. He was not on the charger when I did so I was in a dark room I had the brightness down. Later in the day, I plugged it in to charge and I went to make it brighter. The brightness does not change however. All other agents Fn + F keys work. But not both for brightness. The strange thing is, I shut down the computer, whereas standby mode, then opens it again and it was really brilliant and I had to almost squint, but once again the keys did not work to lower it.   Are you sure you used the right BIOS?

  In my opinion you shouldn't t to update anything if the laptop works properly!

  However, try to access the BIOS, set the default settings and save the settings before exiting the BIOS.
  If this does not help, I would pick up the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD.

  Used sytem Lenevo program update (in the list of programs) and there are an update of the Bios - apparently not in systems update if you go through the website and search for updates it.

  Brightness option now appears in the settings of the power and control Fn Home/End now works.
