HP Probook s + peripheral 4540 battery drains unknown

Hi all

I just purchashed a new probook 4540 s core i5 with win7 x 64 system.

Firstely, when the battery fully charged and then turned off the laptop for a few hours or the next day it becomes 99% or 98% although its plugged in current alternative. Stop again for 1 hour and turn it on running at 97%. Is this ok or there is problem battery especially, it shows that (sector, no litters) so portable must operate to the AC adapter and battery remain 100%.

Secondly, I can't find an unknown device not as in the figure below.

Hello

Download and install the Intel USB 3.0 on the following link driver.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp60501-61000/sp60825.exe

Kind regards

My app works on a Curve 8900 with os 4.6.1.310

My application for the battery drain did nothing more than before draining. The app has no timer and I just created a new record in RMS at 21:11 and then the battery drain started (I don't have touch the device more after that).

Maybe I use a lot of memory but battery never drain start at the same time and memory seems OK and no different than when it does not drain the battery.

There is no MemoryLeak because after the Garbage collector, I have the same amount of memory.

Is there a mechanism that can work when there is problem of memory like GarbageCollector in the BONE, or maybe that's not a problem of memory, which could drain the battery like that? There is nothing strange in the event log.

How can I get more information such as CPU, or anything else that can help me determine what is happen.

I can't reproduce the problem when I want and not on all my devices. We have change the levels is not a battery problem.

The device is connected to a BES and I disable memorycleaner, wifi, bluetooth, otasync, etc.

I tried with display of genius, but I wasn't able to watch it for the battery drain...

I am really lost and don't know what is coming...

    Please help me

I just found the cause of the problem, this is a loop of paint on a form that contains a custom textfield who painted it is own container which repainted the textfield itself, etc.
I solved the problem with JDE 5.0 and its view of CPU that helps me detect this problem.
    Thanks for your help!

Please take a look to maximize the life of the battery and battery life and display battery usage information and to see what proportion of your battery used by each application, specifically, this section:

    View the battery information

iOS 9 is designed to be the most efficient battery iOS ever. And it gives more specific ways to manage your device's battery life, because you can see the proportion of your battery used by each application (unless the unit is being charged). To view your usage, go to settings > battery.

There are messages that you can see below the applications you use:

Background activity. This indicates that the battery has been used by the application while he was in the background - in other words, while you were using another application.

    • To improve the battery life, you can disable the feature that allows applications to background refresh. Go to settings > general > background App refresh and turn the switch to Off.
    • If the Mail app lists substantive activities, you can choose to manually recover data or increase the recovery interval. Go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > retrieve new data.

Location and the location of the background. This indicates that the app uses location-based services.

  • With ios10 battery drain

My battery drains with ios 10. As soon as I installed, I noticed that the drain was immediate. As in 6 hours, it was almost 25%.

I read in the posts to go to the battery in settings to see what is causing the drain and she is running in the background at 59% of the agenda was 10% of Messages. Which cannot be turned off like a support staff told to do. Go to the background refresh and disable the application. Of Messages is not in the list of apps to go out, then it will not work in the background he.

It's terrible this new ios with messages. I wish that I could turn it off or return to ios9.

I hope that Apple will correct it soon. I searched Google too and it is everywhere in line with with ios 10 battery drain.
There is hope that they do something about this. This is only my second iphone and loved until this.

Well, I hope this problem is solved!

Restore your device to the factory settings and set in place like new.  That will probably be your battery problem.

Try the settings > battery to see what is using that a lot of the battery.  Maybe it's something you can disable when not in service.

  • Apple ios 10.0.2 update battery draining fast.

battery drain fast on new update ios 10.0.2 - does anyone know how to fix this?

IF you go to Preferences-> privacy-> Location Services-> System Services, you will see a guilty (if you have the status bar enabled). Calibration compass and alert Google Latitude based constantly turn on and off. This

is a brand new iPhone 7 I have autonomy on 10.0.1 - I usually gained by during 48 hours between charges with moderate use (a few hrs site web surfing and using 3rd party email). Even with workarounds above watching my battery meter down 3 percent as I type this. I did an ipdate OTA. I will be heading home downgrade ipsw. I just lost confidence in apples QA software. Personal Apple who may read this, if you're going to harass us with daily updates OTA can you please make the tests more extensive before pushing minor point releases? This really put a huge hole in my independence and trust in the quality of the Apple. I can understand the complexity of the myriad of settings ios and the 3rd party software interactions, but perhaps more test time is required between releases one-time dowry...

  • Messages of the 10.0.2 iOS app question (heavy battery drain!)

    Hello

I noticed a problem with the Messages app iOS 10.0.2. Since the update, this app is highly draining the battery...

for the English people (10 minutes on screen, 5, bottom of 5 h;).

I do not use Message as well!

Is there a work around for this problem? I've lost 30% of battery in 2 hours on an iPhone 7 +.

    Stone

    Hi pierrezep,

Thanks for the update to iOS 10.02! I understand that after the update your Messages application uses a very high amount of your battery. You can try to force quit the Messages app and relaunch.  Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If this does not resolve the problem, try the advice contained in this link to maximize the life of your iPhone's battery. Maximize the life and the life of the battery

This should solve your problems for sure battery drain! Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question.

  • Fan works like crazy and the battery drains quickly after the installation of Sierra on MacBook Pro

I installed Sierra and since my MacBook fan runs like crazy and the battery drains very quickly. Right now I use Safari and Mail. He has never done this before. How can I stop this from happening? It is now more than 48 hours since I installed Sierra. All constructive suggestions are welcome.

  • ioS battery draining / overheating

I use a 6 16 GB iPhone on which I downloaded iOS 10 a few days ago. I hate this update! The drops of the battery to 100% less than 30 percent in less than two hours of use; and that, no phone call - just by using whatsapp and twitter. I also had days where the battery shows 23% and now after the phone dies. When you connect it to the power supply, it appears directly at 21%.

In addition, to use the phone for about 30 to 40 minutes in a row, it heats considerably, something that was not the case before.

If there is a way to solve this problem, please tell. Or Apple must come with a fix emergency. It's a pain to have to keep the phone attached to a power Bank.

    Hello

Unfortunately, this is a very common on more problem iOS 10 users.

Here is the link to another discussion: iOS 10 battery draining / overheating

Hope Apple will deliver a fix very soon.

  • Battery drains too fast

    Hello

After the transition to macOS Sierra, I see that my macbook pro battery drains too quickly. Also pointed out that in the mode 'sleep', he gets very hot. Any suggestion to solve this problem?

I have a s 6 + 6 oversized Apple. Half of my strings and do not plug ins will no work with this phone. Everything becomes hot/warm/hot. Does anyone have this problem.

My phone is locked also up for ALL THE TIME especially when I try to use the contacts.

Now, even though I rarely use chrome, I went in tonight and this company - Loginemailnow.com trying to download their software. I went into the Apple applications, and they say they do not know. Supposedly, it turns out emails in format doc. It seems that you will allow them to get into your computer and I've made this mistake before and I still don't want to do this again. If anyone can help me with any of these problems = I would appreciate it a lot.

  • Watch the battery draining quickly from ios3 in update

Since the new watch iOS 3 update on my Apple Watch, my battery drains very quickly.  I don't have a lot of notifications, I've changed my face color to be just white, my activity level is the same as what it was before the update (30 minutes of work per day - using my watch).  More tips on preserving my battery?

I have the same problem. I noticed in the usage statistics, it seems that the watch is not going into standby mode when the screen is off. I don't understand how to solve this problem yet. My guess is that it will be a software update to fix it.

  • iPhone battery drain 7

    Hello

I recently purchased iPhone 7 and Setup with iOS 10.0.1, restore my Apple ID using laptop from an iPhone 6 who was also running iOS 10.0.1.

Since 3 days my battery iPhone 7 has been draining very quickly which means I'll have to charge my phone at least twice a day and I use the phone very sparingly. My behaviors have not changed since Iphone 6 (if anything I use applications less due to low battery), but I find the autonomy of the phone to be much worse than my previous iPhone and is not acceptable.

I don't use battery applications much like music or Pokémon go etc and my % battery drain for the last 4 days has been Twitter to 27% then Mail to 16%. I have location services on for applications using, but like I said that my general behavior has not changed since the iPhone 6 and im finding the 7 to be draining very quickly. It seems also charge less quickly as well.

Any advice would be appreciated. I am sure that I don't need to execute the ideas that the call center keep advising me to save the battery.

    Thank you

    Hello almondo9,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how important it is to keep your device running properly, and I want to help you in your battery life. If you have not done so already it's always a God idea to restart your phone after an update. If you already have and the battery is still going down fairly quickly I would recommend reset settings on your iPhone.

This will not remove anything from your phone. all apps, music and contacts will be safe. You can always save your settings in iTunes or iCloud data before doing this reset. This link will guide you through backup if you choose to do: How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

What this does is actually reset some of your settings to factory default. This removes all data and applications, photos or contacts, but it removes all of your preferences for the Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, contact ID, brightness & wallpaper and privacy, so we will have to define these things upwards after this reset.

Do this please go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

If the behaviour continues or if you encounter difficulties, the entire community is here to help.
    Best regards

  • iPhone 6 iOS 10 massive battery drain

Use iOS 10 since beta. Around Beta 5 or 6 noticed my iPhone 6 suddenly started battery drains very quickly and also began the statement incorrect autonomy (jumping massive amounts of %).

Continued on the public (10.0.1). version I know that it's a software problem, because three other people I know with iPhone 6 have exactly the same problem with iOS 10. I've seen others suggesting that it is "normal behavior" which occurs because Spotlight indexing / App updates etc. It is not true that I was see this behavior for weeks now since the middle of the period beta.

I already tried to wipe the phone completely (do not restore from backup), and it has changed nothing. Is there a solution or is my only option to try to downgrade to 9.3.5 until a new version of 10 is available that will hopefully solve the problem?

Did someone at Apple aware of this problem? I saw many many posts on these communities with my exact problem.

Try to configure your iPhone according to these recommendations http://www.apple.com/batteries/maximizing-performance/
