  It seems that the release of Marshmallow to Z5 (compact in my case) has seen the reintroduction of old days of jelly bean bug.

  If the network does NOT support fast dormancy, then phone with her forecefully enabled in the firmware will suffer horrible when battery drain the 3 G. Seen for the first time this compact Z1 a couple of years back, and only "Difficulty" at the time was root + change of the file system. Sony has finally fixed. Hoping that it will not take long this time, else this phone becomes useless due to a range of 8 to 10 hours in standby mode.

  Can see in the pictures below the phone sleeps perfectly on a Wi - FI connection, but as soon as 3G is involved the tanks of battery.

  Then I have updated ios 9.2 tonight on my iPhone 6 (from 8.4.2).  I noticed a significant drop in the battery life down 10% in 30 minutes with very little use.  He was quite handsome before upgrade.  The irony is that I have improved only because people were noting autonomy improved with the new ios.  I had waited for 9.2 enable apple to get the bugs out.

  I tried the reset without a change in behavior.

  Anyone else seeing an alarming drain on their battery 5s since the upgrade to 9.3.2? I updated my phone yesterday and thought I noticed fall faster than usual. Test today, I started the day with a load of 100% fresh this morning, I used very little while I was at work and I just checked it and it is currently sitting at 39% remaining battery after 8 hours of essentially idle sitting on my desk.  I see another post about a 4S with similar experience but cannot find anything else.

  Have you ever tried to force restart the phone after the update, with the button sleep and hoe for about 10 seconds, until what the Apple logo come back again?

  You lose no data by doing this.

  Next step after that could be put back to the factory settings and restore form the last backup, especially if you updated using the option 'Over the Air '.

• After switching to macOS Sierra MacBook Pro MASSIVE battery drain

  I have a MacBook Pro of the retina (end 2012) now under macOS Sierra and my battery is to be wiped out at a crazy pace of knots.

  I used to be able to go out with my MBP without a power cord and have at least 6-7 hours of use and I run Parallels desktop as well, so when I went out Saturday and got less than 2 hours, I was just a little worried.

  I've done just about everything which has been mentioned in conjunction with this issue, including, starting in safemode, NV and PR RAM reset, reset the hardware controller etc, etc nothing works.

  Someone at - it any other suggestions, or is this just a waiting game for an update of Apple's Sierra?

  It might be a part of the screen smart rotation app... phone finds with front cam which position your face and decides to turn the screen sideways like gyroscope is designed. I don't know but I have all things smart in market, fair, not to mention intelligent rotation and I have this process showed in my phone, so I guess that's not intelligent backlight control or collect smart calling without slipping the green bar. See if you have the smart rotation enabled in the advanced settings screen.

  2 days in my Z2 is normal... If I didn't panic at 35%, I could easily continue for 3 days and 4 hours free of charge, but I talk a lot and I try never to go to work with phone less than 60% of the fees.

  Having updated my iPhone to iOS 9.3.5 5s my battery lasts only 7 hours - and it is not left pending applications and use very little. My phone before the update took minimum 2 days with open applications and a lot of use. This update seems to be draining the battery at a ridiculous rate.

  Otherwise, anyone having this problem or knows if apple are aware of this problem? Are they highlight a new update for this problem?

  Restore from a backup or news?  Try restoring as a new phone and see if the battery still drains quickly.
