• Elite x 2 1012: Disable "auto rotation" on Elite X 2 1012

  I have a X 2 1012 elite and I can't conrol the function "auto rotation". There is no hardware button and I do not see a combination of keys.

  Yet when I go into the section display settings for Windows 10 "rotation lock" button is grayed out, - I can't select it.

  Any suggestions?

  I was wondering if your keyboard base is attached when you try to access the setting of auto rotation?

  It should be greyed out when attached and only reactive once detached.

  Sometimes, once separated, you may need to rotate the tablet to portrait. Then the automatic rotation of images button works.

  I just got the USB docking station - C HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 65W.

  I plugged in and my Elite X 2 1012 G1 fresh, but that's all. No ports do not work. The monitor is not recognized or the other.

  If I plug in my phone via USB, it loads, but not recognize it as a storage device.

  I have looked everywhere and can not find drivers that will solve this problem.

  I have:

  -Shot lightning software installed and running, but still without success.

  -Installed and running "Intel Thunderbolt Firmware Update Utility", but get an error that there is no controller driver.

  I'm designing a HMI system with a TSM 1012 and a cDAQ 9133. There is one thing I can't find online resources: the touch screen has speakers? The cDAQ can produce the audio signal via the minidisplay port, but the monitor will be able to run this signal?

  Unfortunately, the TSM is really just a touch screen and it has no speakers mounted on it. So I'm afraid that the screen will not be able to run the audio port minidisplay

  Uneekbrother, welcome to the forum.

  It seems that the recovery partition has been removed from the car.  The System Recovery / backup / restore section for the computer should help you make this dertermination.  Here is a guide to help you order the recovery of system for computer media, if you do not find the partition.

  I saw several people to use Windows 7 Laserjet 1015 drivers for the LJ 1012. Try this:

  Start/devices and printers.

  -Choose Add a printer.

  -Choose Windows update at the bottom of the window of the printer driver to install because the HP Laserjet 1015 is not on the list of HP printers. But after the update it is "HP Laserjet 1015.

  -Choose the generic IEEE 1284.4 as the printer port

  Just bought a new laptop running Win 7 64 bit.  I am trying to connect to my HP Laserjet 1012 on my desktop, which is running XP.   The download is said to use the Vista drivers.  I have downloaded the drivers, extract all the files in a folder, but when I point to the folder that W7 is not what suits him.  Any suggestions?  Thank you

  Hello, I had a problem when I updated my windows 7 to 10.

  I found a solution for people like me using a laserjet 1012 on win 7:

  -come on in: manually install a printer. (because yours in not in the list...)

  -Choose the port: port 4DOT

  -Select driver laserjet 3350

  -give a name to this printer, mine was 'laserjet ghost' but you can call it as you want

  -then plug your printer with USB cable and click on 'print a test page', it will works.

  Sometimes you can have a "unsupported device" problem, just turn off the printer and turn it back on.

  Hope this will help other usuers with laserjet 1012 that works very well

  BUT IT S NOT WORKING NOT NOT ON WINDOWS 10

  I FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS 10:

  -first to download the driver for windows vista (I m using 64-bit for my computer):

  -J' uses the same procedure as for windows 7, but I chose to drive rather than in the list of printer driver. So I choose the driver that I just downloaded earlier: hpc1015w.inf, then open and select the HB 1012 printer

  -J' I'm able to print from microsoft office word, and other software, but I'm still working for my pdf Acrobat printing.
